    About a 5-minute walk from the Transportation Center. Convenient for bar-hopping (lol).

    It is in a very convenient location near the Transportation Center. The surrounding area is a downtown entertainment district, which makes it convenient for going out for drinks, but at night it can feel quite crowded and chaotic. Women in particular may want to be cautious. As for the Hotel’s Facility, the Room is slightly spacious. The bathroom is separate from the toilet and also has a washing area, which was comfortable. However, I was a bit bothered by white limescale marks left on the black floor. Since it’s an entertainment district, I was slightly worried it might be noisy, but at least in the Room I stayed in, that wasn’t an issue. Also, having a 24-hour convenience store on the first floor is extremely convenient. Overall, I think my satisfaction level was high.

    Great location, with a convenience store on the 1st floor for added convenience. The Room was clean and spacious, making our stay very comfortable.

    A pill was found in the Room.

    I stayed in a Junior Suite Room with my wife, 2-year-old child, and infant. As requested in advance, a baby crib was already set up in the room. As expected of a suite room, the space was large and comfortable enough for our family of four to relax. The reception staff were polite, and all the staff greeted us with smiles. However, there were two disappointing points: One was that we found a pill left behind by the previous guest on the floor of the room. While I looked away for just a moment, my 2-year-old picked it up from under the sofa and held it in their hand. Thankfully they didn’t swallow it, but I was disappointed by the lack of thorough cleaning as this could have been life-threatening. The other issue was that both in the morning and evening, cleaning tools and sheets were scattered across the hallway. Could this be addressed?

    Convenient

    I stayed on the first day of a three-day weekend, so even with a discount, it was 47,000 yen including breakfast, which felt expensive. However, the Room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, I had trouble sleeping as there were noisy drunk people outside past 3 AM. During breakfast, a foreign guest in front of me overloaded their plate and tilted their milk. As we passed each other, they spilled milk on my pants and boots. Since they might not understand English well enough to apologize directly to me, I informed a waitress about the incident instead. A group of about four young staff members came over to clean the floor but none showed concern for me as I wiped my legs and shoes myself—disappointing! They also didn’t notice milk spilled on the table until I pointed it out; when cleaning it up dryly with no thought for allergies others might have nearby—I suggested using damp cloths instead but received no thanks or acknowledgment whatsoever from them while being ignored outright! It wasn’t even MY fault spillage occurred here? Contrast starkly though w/long-haired waitress who saved toddler reaching dangerously close hot curry pot moment intervened timely manner preventing burns happening altogether smiled warmly afterward reassuring restoring faith professionalism industry overall!!

    For business trips

    Self-check-in is available via a machine, but the front desk staff provided courteous support. The facilities are well-maintained and clean, though the bathrooms feel slightly dated. The location is excellent with convenient access to the conference hall. Due to the season, a large insect appeared, which affected my satisfaction rating to 3 out of 5.

    The Room was comfortable, but

    The room was clean and comfortable. However, the parking lot was only available until 11 PM and was fully occupied... Due to the location in a busy downtown area, nearby parking lots were crowded with intoxicated people, which made it challenging. It would be appreciated if the parking could also be on a reservation basis.

    The hardware is excellent, but there are issues with the software.

    Check-in requires face-to-face confirmation, followed by entering your name and phone number into a machine and signing electronically before finally receiving the card key. This feels unnecessarily repetitive and inconvenient. The Facility is good, but there were two thin hairs left on the sink, and the drain had noticeable water stains, which gave an impression of poor cleanliness. In Kumamoto City, you can stay at Castle Hotel in the same price range. Check-in is smoother there, staff are polite, and they pay attention to various details. While the guest rooms are slightly older at Castle Hotel, they are well-cleaned and provide a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. Daiwa Roynet offers decent facilities as it is associated with housing manufacturers; however, its hospitality and service software feel lacking compared to what is expected from a Hotel business.

    Convenient Hotel

    This was my second visit to Kumamoto, and choosing this Hotel was a great decision. Located in the downtown area, it is very convenient and there were no issues with noise. Breakfast is served as a buffet on the 2nd floor where the front desk is located, including one main dish such as salmon or horse meat hamburger steak. The salads and side dishes were also delicious. There’s a Seven-Eleven on the first floor for added convenience, and although not directly related to the Hotel, there’s also a yakitori restaurant that serves not only grilled items but also sashimi dishes which were very tasty.

    I fell in love with Kumamoto.

    When traveling for sightseeing and planning to dine out, I always look for Daiwa Roynet Hotel first in various regions. This is because the rooms often feature separate toilets and baths (though not all), and they are spacious and clean. Additionally, this hotel provides high-quality cotton pajamas with a great texture, which helped me relax during my long journey—I even wanted to purchase them as souvenirs! The location is excellent, within walking distance of Kumamoto Castle and the downtown area. The two women at the front desk were very kind with wonderful smiles. The gentleman who saw us off in a taxi was equally courteous—it felt like service beyond that of a typical Business Hotel. As a smoker, I am especially grateful that smoking rooms are still available these days! Even though I live far away in another prefecture, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    I always stay at this Hotel when visiting downtown Kumamoto. It is a very good Hotel.

    The room was clean and reassuring. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The amenities available around the reception area were plentiful. Check-out was easy with a self-service machine, avoiding any lines.

    The location was too...

    The location was too close to the downtown area, near night entertainment venues, so I didn't feel like going out. We were told the parking was full, which was a problem as I was with my elderly mother who has difficulty walking, but we were able to park nearby and it was a relief.

    Quite a good Hotel

    For a Business Hotel, I think it is quite a high-ranking Hotel. The Room is also quite spacious. Having a separate toilet and bath is also good. The breakfast was also very good. It was a Hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the opportunity. I was very satisfied.

    This is a highly recommended Hotel.

    I used it during my business trip to Kumamoto. I am satisfied with the beautiful Room, which is worth more than the price. I will definitely use it again next time.
