    Favorite Ise

    When I checked in on a rainy day, I was truly touched to be offered a towel. Parking is also available, and at check-out I was even happier to see my name posted in the parking area. The room was simple yet highly functional, and having a microwave made it perfect. It was reasonably priced, but I was very satisfied. The bathroom has a shower only.

    A stylish, spacious studio apartment

    This Hotel suited our needs: four family members staying in one Room and leaving early in the morning. Amenities were minimal, like a Business Hotel. Breakfast was a hot sandwich and a drink, so it was quick and easy. Check-out was also unattended—just scan the QR code. The Room was spacious with a stylish atmosphere. There was a microwave and tableware, so it may be geared toward longer stays. Overall, the lighting was quite dim, and I think it would be better if brightness could be adjusted more easily. It was nice that the bath and toilet were separate.

    Poor quality

    The photos are overly edited. The reviews are likely fake as they were offering souvenirs in exchange for reviews on-site. I understand the price increase during peak season, but paying 50,000 yen for no bath, no mineral water, barely any amenities, and self-check-in is unacceptable. Breakfast was just a hot sandwich and a drink—far too basic.

    Suitable for long-term stays.

    The property features a counter kitchen, a spacious refrigerator, and laundry facilities, making it ideal for long-term stays. It feels almost like an apartment. The small window in the bathroom is a nice touch. The entrance and living room are on the smaller side, but the toilet is separate. A larger washroom would be a plus. The breakfast set offers just the right variety, is delicious, and highly recommended!

    Too terrible.

    I usually don't write reviews like this, but... I changed all my plans and reserved a parking spot at 3 PM as instructed by the staff (or owner?) of the café adjacent to this accommodation. They told me it was free to come and go, and even put my name on it. However, when I returned in the evening after running a quick errand for about 15 minutes, someone else's car was parked there. When I spoke to the front desk, a foreign staff member with limited communication skills responded while another café staff (a different person) just stood there indifferently. Even though I asked them to put up a notice or something similar, they didn’t do anything about it. In the end, that car remained parked until morning. In the morning, when I spoke again with one of the café staff who had initially told me parking was available on a first-come-first-served basis from 3 PM onwards, they simply said that since they were only renting space for their café operations and had no connection with parking management, there was nothing they could do. I left a note on that car as shown in the photo because of how poorly managed everything felt. It’s unsettling not knowing which guest parked there or having any proper crisis management system in place at this hotel—it made me worry about how they'd handle emergencies like fires or accidents since even basic explanations about emergency exits weren’t provided. The building may have been renovated and looked clean but as an accommodation provider? Absolutely terrible! While some foreign staff members were polite enough individually—they clearly lacked proper training—and overall crisis management seemed nonexistent. Whether related directly to that unrelated café or not—the unhelpful attitude when asking questions about parking combined with indifferent behavior towards both struggling guests AND struggling staff left me furious! How can anyone working in hospitality dismiss issues by saying "it’s not our responsibility"? Unbelievable! It’s unfair that someone who illegally parks gets away scot-free while those who rearrange their schedules just to secure parking are left feeling so frustrated! Never staying here again—this experience ruined my trip entirely. If possible I'd give zero stars; that's how awful this stay made me feel!

    Overall satisfaction was low.

    Stayed with 2 adults and a 3-year-old child. Positive Points: - The greetings from the foreign cleaning staff were pleasant. - A room where shoes can be removed, a separate bathroom, and a large bed were convenient for families with small children. Negative Points: - No luggage storage service. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that luggage could not be stored. Checking the reservation email confirmed it was clearly stated, "Luggage storage is not available." This was unexpected as we had never stayed at an accommodation booked through IKYU.com without luggage storage before. Traveling with a small child, we had to take a taxi back to Ise City Station to use the luggage storage there. - Booked under Early Bird 30 plan; however, closer to the date of stay, similar rooms with breakfast included were being sold for about 3,000 yen less than what we paid. It felt disappointing as there seemed to be no advantage in booking early under this plan. - Earplugs were provided at the amenity bar—unusual for accommodations—but later understood why when noticing how loud the air conditioning noise was after everyone went to sleep. Light sleepers might find it bothersome. Other Notes: - The room includes a kitchenette but there are no supermarkets nearby; while having small plates available was convenient, we didn’t end up using the kitchen much. - Noticed stains on the sofa and significant dust buildup in crevices; this became apparent when our child's toy rolled into those areas—a point of concern for us during our stay.

    I always stay here whenever I visit Ise. This time was as comfortable as usual, but I noticed some dust on the top of the window when I opened the curtains in the morning.

    The Room is clean.

    I chose this place for its location and cleanliness as I was staying with No Meals Included. The staff were not bad, but just average. The facility was clean, and the room was well-maintained. However, the room was surprisingly small, with only a shower that was also very cramped. The sink bowl was tiny, and the shelf above it made washing my face quite difficult, leaving everything soaked... There is parking available, but it operates on a first-come-first-served basis; by the time I arrived, it was already full! I had to park at a nearby coin-operated parking lot instead. Considering the price point, I suppose it's understandable. It turned out to be a good learning experience for me.

    A short walk.

    It takes a short walk from Ise City Station, but the streets and shrines along the way are charming. You can enjoy the local area without dining at the accommodation by having dinner at an izakaya near the station and breakfast at an early-opening Ise Udon shop. There is a convenience store nearby, but no fast-food restaurants, which feels unusual. The hotel room uses a passcode instead of a card key for entry, which is quite convenient. The front desk is unstaffed outside check-in hours, giving it an atmosphere similar to an apartment entrance with little activity—this made coming and going feel relaxed. At night, you enter the hotel using your passcode. Although we didn’t use it during our stay, having a kitchen in the room with a freezer-equipped refrigerator and microwave would be great for multiple night stays. We stayed in a room with two queen beds for two people; however, if you have small children, it seems suitable for up to four people to stay comfortably as well. The café on the first floor serves café lattes priced at 700 yen—on the expensive side—but they come with latte art and were delicious!

    This Room, a Desired Second House

    Stayed in a 4-bed room as a family of three for one night. Entry to the room was password-only, no key required. The accommodation was clean, with a small kitchen and a separate refrigerator. The toilet and bathroom were also separate, featuring a bathtub and equipped with Max Corporation's pioneering bathroom dryer, ensuring no heat shock even in cold winters. With 24-hour dry mode on, there was no humidity buildup, making it very comfortable. The toilet featured TOTO's popular smart and sleek integrated bidet system. Clean and stylish water facilities really lifted the mood. Natural light filled the room in the morning, making me exclaim how much I loved this room! For breakfast at the café on the first floor, I enjoyed lattes (matcha, pistachio, caramel), panini sandwiches, and Toraya’s uirou purchased from Okage Yokocho the day before—all delicious! The matcha latte tasted as good as what we use during Urasenke tea ceremonies. I’d love to keep using this place as my second home in the future—and even plan to upgrade my own house with similar toilets and bathrooms! Finally, thank you to all staff members!!

    Simple and good, but

    I stayed at the accommodation during my visit to Ise Jingu. The room was spacious, with separate toilet and bathroom for convenience. Some amenities and nightwear were available in a self-service style, allowing guests to take what they needed. There was also a café on the first floor, making it a simple yet comfortable hotel to stay in. However... - The back of the magazine on the table and part of the table surface had some sticky residue, possibly food or something similar. - There was sticky residue on the floor near the refrigerator. - Hair was found on the foot mat. - The mirror inside the drawer in the washroom had fingerprints, likely from a previous guest. These issues suggested that cleaning might not have been thorough enough in some areas, which is unfortunate for such an otherwise comfortable hotel. Still, I would like to stay here again if given another opportunity—thank you for your hospitality!

    New Facility! Excellent Access

    Convenient access from Shimomiya, within walking distance to popular izakayas like "Ichigatsuya" and "Gyoza no Misuzu." Basic amenities are provided at the front desk, and the space is clean, leaving a good impression. The shower is minimal in size, and there is no bathtub, which might feel insufficient for those looking to relax. However, it was disappointing that luggage could not be stored before check-in time—quite inconvenient. Additionally, the perfume scent in the hotel lobby was overwhelmingly strong to the point of being unpleasant. Even my friend who accompanied me felt the same way. It resembled the heavy scents often found in foreign hotels and was overwhelming. Considering there’s a café offering coffee in the lobby, it would have been better if only that aroma filled the space instead.

    This was my fourth stay. It was comfortable throughout this time as well! It was my first time staying in the middle of winter, and when I turned on the heater, the Room got quite dry, possibly because it is spacious, making it difficult to adjust the humidity and room temperature. I would like to visit again within the year.

    I used it for visiting Ise Jingu Shrine. The Room is also clean. The staff are also courteous. Junecoffee was delicious.

    It was convenient with a kitchen.

    We chose this property because it is within walking distance to the outer shrine of Ise Jingu and has a kitchen, making it suitable for a family stay. The refrigerator was also a sufficient size, and the bath was pleasant to use. It would have been nice to have tea bags such as black tea or Ise tea. The room was clean, but it was disappointing to find crumbs on the table and sofa. The stylish vacuum cleaner, disinfectant spray, and air purifier provided peace of mind. The foreign staff at the front desk responded properly with excellent Japanese.

    I will stay again.

    I used this Hotel during my trip to Mie. The Room itself is small, but it is very clean and comfortable with cooking utensils provided. There is also a parking lot, so those coming from afar can park their cars. However, please note that there is a parking fee of 1000 yen. I would like to use it again! Thank you very much.
