  Okayama Solo Trip

  First time in Okayama. Convenient location near the station with a large AEON mall nearby. The Room was small but comfortable for relaxing and had a good night's sleep. Located in the heart of the downtown area, but it didn't feel unsafe. Would love to stay again!

  Great value for money, close to the station.

  A hair iron is available, and the staff were very courteous! I would like to use this place again when I visit Okayama.

  Not recommended for solo female travelers.

  Due to an urgent matter, I had to visit Okayama late at night and stayed here. Given the time, it was understandable, but the area between the station and the Hotel felt unsafe with solicitors from nightlife establishments, young people sitting on the streets, and many foreigners around. Arriving before check-in time, I found the entrance and lobby dimly lit, which added to my unease. Additionally, other guests checking in at the same time were intoxicated and causing a disturbance in the lobby and hallways without any intervention from staff. This only added to my travel fatigue. As for my Room, while its age is understandable, issues like visible dirt on the air conditioner and accumulated dust as mentioned by others were disappointing. I ended up checking out early in the morning. I don't think I'll be staying here again unless absolutely necessary.

Regarding cleanliness, we always strive to maintain thorough cleaning; however, receiving such feedback is truly humbling. To ensure that similar concerns do not arise in the future, we will share this with our cleaning staff and review our cleaning operations to make improvements. For directions from Okayama Station, taking the main street "Momotaro Odori" allows you to reach us without passing through busy areas. We apologize again for not providing sufficient guidance in advance and causing any unease. As for the brightness of the lobby during late-night hours, we adjust lighting levels to avoid disturbing guests staying at our accommodation. Please note that check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and front desk staff are on duty 24/7 so that guests arriving late at night can feel secure using our facility. The front counter and entrance area remain lit even during late-night hours; however, we regret any inconvenience caused by insufficient guidance on this matter. Additionally, regarding noise or inappropriate behavior by other guests and inadequate responses from our staff, we sincerely apologize once again. As an accommodation provider responsible for ensuring a safe environment where all guests can relax comfortably, failing in this regard is something we deeply regret. Moving forward, we will strengthen patrols by staff members as well as implement timely interventions based on situations regardless of timeframes while reviewing operational systems thoroughly.   The Facility is old, but I think the price is reasonable and good.

  The Facility is old, but the accommodation fee is cheap, so I think it's good. The nearest convenience store is also about 5 minutes away, so it would be better to buy water at the convenience store before checking in.

  It may sound harsh, but the cleanliness was zero.

  It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the station. It seemed like a downtown area, and it was lively at night with plenty of places to have dinner. Regarding the room, there was quite a bit of dust accumulated, and honestly, it was doubtful whether it was cleaned at all. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted in the room, and it didn't get cool at all. Upon closer inspection, the dust on the cooler was quite bad as well. I didn't even feel like taking a photo. The vegetables at breakfast were delicious, but since you have to use the stairs to carry your meal, it might be tough for the elderly.
