    The Room and breakfa...

    The Room and breakfast were excellent! We will definitely stay again. It was also very convenient that the airport bus stops right in front of the property.

    Convenient location, clean Room, and a great view!

    The location is excellent, just a short walk from the station. The restaurant on the first floor serving Yonezawa beef was very delicious, and I felt the guest-only Plan was a great value. We had a corner Room with a nice view. The bathroom had a larger-than-average tub, so we could relax. One drawback was that the multi-story parking garage was crowded and difficult to enter.

    The assigned Room wa...

    The assigned Room was a corner room on the lowest floor (4th floor) facing the intersection, so it was very noisy due to traffic sounds and music from an izakaya that stayed open late, making it difficult to sleep. The intersection noise also started early in the morning.

    It was very good.

    This was my first stay. I chose this property because the bath and washbasin areas are separate, and it had good reviews. A QR code for check-in is sent around the day before. The Room was clean, which was great. The loungewear was a one-piece type. I chose the Western-style breakfast, but it was quite filling and I couldn’t finish it. It felt like many guests chose the Japanese-style option. My mother liked it as well, so we’d like to stay again.

    Refresh Trip

    A refreshing solo trip to Yamagata! Even the Golden Week crowds melted away in the hot bath and massage chair, and choosing the Japanese-style breakfast was absolutely the right call. Flawless!

    Highly satisfied.

    It looked far from the station on the map, but the Hotel was visible right away from the exit of the station concourse. It may be a 3-minute walk, but it felt like just 1 minute to me. And even inside the Hotel, I was impressed every time I noticed a small thoughtful detail. I thought the faucet design that prevents you from running too much hot water was a great idea. It may be a protective measure for the Hotel, but it’s also convenient for guests—especially since you can forget you’re filling up hot water while watching videos. I was also worried that the popular breakfast would be crowded, but they had a ticket-number machine, and guests who wanted to could enter their mobile number into the system. I was impressed by how well they had thought things through to make even small guest concerns even smaller. I’d like to stay here again when I come to Yamagata.

    Newly Built Spacious and Comfortable Hotel

    Visited Yamagata City to meet a former colleague. Despite concerns about the Yamagata Shinkansen due to a cold wave, I arrived at Yamagata Station with only a slight delay. After walking the long distance from the main gate to the East Exit, I headed towards my accommodation. Although there was snow, it was manageable in sneakers. This accommodation left a good impression during my previous stay. Initially, I had reserved another hotel due to high rates here but found an affordable last-minute deal just before my stay and quickly completed the reservation. After checking in on the 3rd floor and heading up to my assigned room on the 11th floor, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious Moderate Twin Room of 27 square meters—comparable in size to higher-category hotels. The room's spaciousness is undoubtedly its greatest advantage. After enjoying dinner with my former colleague, I returned to relax in a bath equipped with a washing area—perfect for warming up after being out in freezing weather. A long soak later, I went straight to bed. The next morning began with breakfast—a highlight for my wife. We headed eagerly downstairs to "Tokiba" on the first floor: she chose Japanese breakfast while I opted for Western breakfast. The Japanese set featured Yonezawa beef stew and imoni (a local soup), while mine included Yonezawa beef stew as well as curry rice available buffet-style for those still hungry! Watching her enjoy her meal enthusiastically made it all more delightful. With excellent facilities combined perfectly alongside its prime location within town limits—it stands out among other accommodations nearby! If not hindered by fluctuating rates skyrocketing occasionally—I’d gladly make this place regular choice whenever visiting again!

    The room was spacious and clean, and the desk chair was comfortable. The separate bath and toilet added to the satisfaction. Having charging cables available was also a plus. After buying wine from the convenience store on the first floor, I realized I didn’t have a corkscrew to open it after my bath. I called the front desk to ask if they had one I could borrow, fully expecting to pick it up myself if they did. To my surprise, they said, "Yes, we have one. We’ll bring it to your room right away." The excellent service exceeded my expectations for a Business Hotel!

    Excellent

    This Hotel is different from its counterpart in Sendai, with no noise from cars speeding at night or disturbances from neighboring rooms. It is new, clean, and the staff are kind. Additionally, it is conveniently located near the Yamako bus stop, making it an excellent choice.

    Daiwa Roynet Hotel Yamagata Ekimae is my favorite, and I stayed here again during this trip to Tohoku. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious, allowing me to relax fully. The location is excellent, with no issues regarding access. Although the parking lot is always full, there is a nearby parking facility available for 800 yen per 24 hours, which I use every time without any inconvenience. The convenience store on the first floor is very handy for guests. Since I usually don't include breakfast in my stay, it's helpful to purchase what I need the night before. As the snowy season approaches, it might be difficult to visit again soon, but I definitely look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you very much!

    A clean and comfortable Hotel.

    Necessary amenities can be picked up at the front desk. The bathroom includes a washing area, a rain shower, and is conveniently separate from the toilet. The Room and bed were spacious, and there was also a sofa with a table like those found in lounges. There were some downsides: all elevators stopped on the 3rd floor (the front desk floor) every time, and there was a slight wait at the breakfast venue (likely due to preparation for serving). However, the breakfast was delicious and worth the wait. I would love to stay at this Hotel again.

    Comfortable Hotel

    This was my first time staying here. The Room was clean and well-maintained, as it is a relatively new facility. The Room had a massage chair, but since we were two people, I thought it would have been more convenient to have an extra chair for dining instead of the massage chair. Located in front of the station with a convenience store on the first floor and accessible parking, this Hotel offers great satisfaction. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    It was a great hotel.

    We had a comfortable stay in the spacious Room. The bathroom was large, and the bathtub was wide enough to stretch out and relax. We appreciated that breakfast was not a buffet style. The staff's greetings were excellent. We've stayed at various Daiwa hotels, but we think the Daiwa hotel in Yamagata is the best HOTEL for us. We'd love to stay again!

    Conveniently located near Yamagata Station. We were upgraded to a larger Room as it was available, and enjoyed the spacious accommodation. The bathroom is large, separate from the toilet, and the sink area can be used by two people at the same time. Having had a great experience in Kagoshima, we chose this place and would love to use it again in the future.

    A Highly Satisfying Hotel

    I stayed for one night after watching a baseball game. The new Hotel was clean and quiet. The Room, bed, and bathroom were very spacious and absolutely wonderful. Check-in and check-out were easy with the machines, and there was a wide variety of amenities like Sekkisei and Ellips. Breakfast was very hearty, offering many Yamagata dishes. The rice was delicious, and there were cherries for dessert. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Yamagata!

    It was a great accommodation as per the reviews. The room was clean, and the service was excellent. Amenities were well-prepared, though I wished for green tea leaves (Hulic's is delicious). The meals are from a steakhouse, but during a multiple night stay, having beef continuously can be heavy on the stomach since this area offers beef for both dinner and breakfast. It would be nice to include local chicken or consider non-beef menu options. The local large-grain natto and taro were truly delicious. However, the rice seemed inconsistently cooked depending on the day. Having more fruits and uncolored zunda would make it perfect in my opinion. Still, everything was tasty, and I had a quiet day to relax peacefully. I am considering using this hotel chain again in the future!

    Very satisfied.

    Reasonable price, clean room facilities, excellent service, and delicious breakfast made for a satisfying stay. For dinner, we splurged a little and enjoyed sukiyaki with Yonezawa beef at "Tokihama" within the facility—it was incredibly delicious. (Breakfast is also served at the same location.) However, there is no large public bath available.

    Excellent value for money

    It was my first time using this accommodation. The location near the station was excellent, and I could walk to all the places I wanted to visit. The room was very clean and comfortable. With this level of quality at this price, I would definitely like to stay here again.
