    The only disappointing part was the bath.

    The Room and meals were great, but the bath was not pleasant because many foreign guests did not follow the rules. Some entered the large public bath directly from the pool wearing swimsuits and sat on the edge of the tub soaking only their feet like a footbath; others did not rinse before entering, tried to get into the tub while wrapped in a bath towel, or kept shouting loudly. It was not an atmosphere where you could relax in an Onsen. There were instructions posted on the lockers, but they were small and may not be very effective. Despite that, this is a very appealing Hotel, with breakfast featuring plenty of local ingredients, welcome drinks, collaborations with nearby restaurants, and kind staff. It was truly disappointing that only the bath fell short.

    Stylish and comfortable!

    We stayed for 4 nights as a family. Our elementary school-aged child was very happy with the comfortable space. It felt like about 80% of the guests were from overseas, but everyone had good manners, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. The baths are Onsen, but they can get a bit crowded, so being able to check the crowd status from our Room was helpful. Breakfast was delicious every day and became one of our highlights. However, the breakfast area was a little cold, and since there were many international guests (so hardly anyone came in yukata), if you come in samue expecting a traditional Japanese Onsen Ryokan vibe, you might stand out. We chose this Hotel partly for the pool, but at the end of March it was still a bit cold and only a few people were swimming. Even though it’s heated (I think), small children’s lips turned purple! Still, we were satisfied even without using the pool much. There is no parking lot on-site and you need to use nearby parking, but it’s very close so we didn’t find it inconvenient. The laundry required 600 yen in 100-yen coins and that was tricky for us, but it seems you can pay by tapping your Room key card—wish we had realized sooner! It’s close to the station and Beppu Tower is within walking distance—an excellent location. If we go to Oita again, we’d love to stay here again.

    The Onsen and breakfast are excellent.

    This was my fourth stay. It’s a wonderful Hotel with great value: an Onsen public bath, unlimited welcome drinks in the lounge until night, and above all, an excellent breakfast. I did notice the limited amenities, but given the outstanding cost performance, it may be unavoidable as a cost-saving measure. However, I would like to see improvement regarding the drinking water in the public bath being unavailable (it may have just been out of order that day). I usually choose a Plan with dinner and breakfast, and for the selectable dinner I ate at “Toyotsune,” but since their station-front branch across from the Hotel is currently closed, this time I chose breakfast only. The breakfast features Oita specialties such as freshly fried tempura from a live kitchen and “Ryukyu,” and you can also make a luxurious TKG using the branded egg “Ran-O.” Even the miso soup included Kurome seaweed from Oita, with a rich dashi flavor. It’s such an impressive spread that I look forward to it every time. The Room was also clean and comfortable with a smart TV. Thank you again for this stay.

    Excellent value for money.

    The stylish design, hospitality, and Room comfort were all very well balanced. It was very affordable even during a three-day holiday weekend. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance. However, I couldn’t really relax at all in the rooftop tent sauna. lol

    The breakfast buffet...

    The breakfast buffet had a wide variety, and I really enjoyed it. The large public bath: there were many international guests, and some sat on the edge of the tub, so it may be necessary to better communicate bathing etiquette. From 9:00 p.m. until the last bathing time at 12:00 a.m., it stays crowded. There are too few washing stations, and there was a line waiting from the bath entrance. I went in at 11:30 p.m., but waiting in line while naked was tough. I felt the large public bath was small for the number of Rooms.

    Delicious breakfast

    A very clean and comfortable Hotel. The Room we stayed in felt a bit small for two people. Breakfast was excellent! Everything was delicious, and it was hard to choose. Starting the day with a hearty meal made for a great trip. Highly recommended!

    Excellent

    This was my second visit. I am always impressed by the excellent value for money and the quality of service here. At an affordable price, you get dinner and breakfast included, a welcome drink service, access to the pool and Onsen, and a clean room equipped with a smart TV where you can watch YouTube as well as separate bathroom facilities. For dinner, you can choose from a list of local restaurants for 3,000 yen per person. Among them, "Toyotsune" is very popular with long queues often forming outside. For around 3,000 yen, you can enjoy an exquisite set meal. Their tempura rice bowl was incredibly delicious, and I was delighted by the luxurious appetizers and sashimi as well. The breakfast buffet also featured local specialties like "Ryukyu" (marinated fish) and tempura. The rich flavor of Ranou eggs left me amazed! There were plenty of Oita's specialty dishes available too—making it a highly satisfying meal experience. The Onsen includes both an open-air bath and indoor bath where you can relax while enjoying views of Beppu Bay. I had such an enjoyable time here—thank you very much!

    It was spacious and very pleasant.

    The building and facility are new with an open and pleasant design. The room was spacious enough, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The only disappointment was the wet floor in the Onsen changing area. Perhaps due to the influence of inbound tourism, some guests lacked proper manners, which made it difficult to enjoy a relaxing bath. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

    The rooftop pool is also recommended in the morning.

    It was difficult to secure a reservation at this hotel, but I finally managed to stay during a more affordable period. The lobby and dining area have a modern feel. The room is functional with separate bath and toilet, and it was thoroughly cleaned. Interestingly, the in-house slippers are from SHIPS. I visited the rooftop pool early in the morning; it was not crowded, and the temperature was just right. Luckily, the weather was great, and I could see the sunrise. You can go directly to the large public bath downstairs from there, though I noticed a slight odor in the corridor changing area. However, it seemed well-maintained overall. This is one of the hotels I'd like to stay at again if given another opportunity.

    Girls' Trip

    Joined with a friend. The Hotel's location, staff service, Room, bath, infinity pool, welcome drink, and breakfast menu were all perfect. The option to choose dinner from nearby restaurants through HEYAZUKE was also a great new idea. I would love to visit again with another friend. Thank you very much!

    The temperature of the open-air bath was low. The rooftop jacuzzi was out of order. The hairdryers in the large public bath were no longer Dyson.

    The staff service and breakfast are good. Facility needs improvement.

    Stayed on a weekday (Thursday). The building was clean and I had high expectations, but the lobby was quite noisy. Overall, it seemed that there were many inbound tourists, so be mindful of the clientele. Also, while in the room, I was bothered by noise from surrounding rooms (rather than people being loud, it was the sound of doors closing from other rooms). However, the staff's response was good. They were kind and very attentive. The breakfast allowed us to enjoy specialties from Oita, and the Ryukyu was particularly delicious. If you are not particular about noise, I think this is a very satisfying property.

    First Stays

    It was my first time staying, and although the twin room on the 13th floor felt a bit small, it was very clean, and the view from the window was nice. The toilet and bath were separate and also very clean. However, when the bathwater overflowed from the drain, some dirt came out. This was the disappointing part. The breakfast was varied and delicious.

    Year-end and New Year

    This is my third stay. Second time during New Year's. I had a relaxing time. I don't have any particular complaints, but I felt something was missing. However, I would like to use it again.

    The service was excellent, and I was very grateful.

    I stayed in a superior twin room. I was very satisfied with the plan that included a drink bar (with free refills), dinner and breakfast, access to the pool and hot springs, and free rental of yukata, allowing us to enjoy the facilities and a walk around Beppu! The room was new and clean, with a separate bath and toilet layout, and it was nice to have a TV that could play YouTube. We also had a view of Beppu Bay from the window. For dinner, there was a system where you could charge meals to your room using a room key with a value of 3,000 yen per person, allowing you to choose your favorite local gourmet from about 50 stores. This new initiative is a great opportunity to get to know Beppu's shops. The place we chose, "Toyotsune," was a popular restaurant with a line, and the deliciousness and cost performance were convincing. We enjoyed a full meal for 3,000 yen. Breakfast was an all-you-can-eat buffet in the same lounge, and it was also delicious with Oita specialties like Ryukyu and tempura. It was a highly satisfying stay. Thank you very much.
