    I chose this Hotel f...

    I chose this Hotel for my first stay in Osaka. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of Shin-Osaka Station. They kindly lent me a charging cable I had accidentally forgotten, which was a big help. All the staff were very kind. The Room was excellent, and APA Hotels are consistently reliable and reassuring wherever you stay.

    Barrier-free accessibility is standard.

    The bathroom is spacious and very comfortable, but it would be rated even higher if it had a barrier-free grab bar. There is a risk of slipping and falling. Since this is originally a Business Hotel, major Facility investment may not be necessary, but children and elderly guests sometimes stay as well, so thoughtful consideration would be appreciated.

    APA Hotel Shin-Osaka Ekimae Tower

    I stayed on a high floor. The elevators seemed to be a bit few, so I had to wait quite a while to use them. It was disappointing that I couldn't make a reservation at the top-floor restaurant and was immediately turned away when I went without one. The unit bath had quite a step due to the structure, which was surprising; it seems like something you need to be cautious of at night as you might trip. Having a convenience store right outside on the first floor was very convenient. All the foreign guests were well-mannered, which made me feel at ease.

    Always a clean Room.

    This Hotel is always my choice when visiting Shin-Osaka, as it is convenient to the station and has clean facilities. Thank you for preparing a clean Room this time as well. I will use it again next time!

    Great accessibility!

    I used this during the Expo. After getting off the Shinkansen, I tried to store my luggage, but the coin lockers were full, and the temporary luggage storage had long lines, so I gave up. However, the hotel's accessibility was so convenient that I wished I had gone straight there from the beginning. The entrance to the Midosuji Subway Line was also very close.

    Lack of confirmation.

    I stayed for a business trip and had two concerns: 1. The shower water pressure dropped multiple times and even turned cold, which was quite surprising. This was my first experience of such an issue in a Japanese Hotel. 2. I borrowed a smartphone charging cable, and while the borrowing process required a signature and contact details, the return process was surprisingly lax. The staff simply wrote down my room number on a scrap of paper from her pocket. Later, I received a call from the Hotel asking if I had returned the cable and to whom I had handed it. I provided the time of return and suggested they check with the staff or review the security camera footage, but I never received any follow-up. It felt unprofessional to be doubted and then ignored.

    It might have just been bad luck...

    I stayed here during my trip. The location near Shin-Osaka Station was convenient, but there were several disappointing aspects. First, the room had an unpleasant odor as soon as I entered, with a stuffy and strange smell. Since the room windows couldn't be opened for ventilation, I used the air conditioner to mask it with cool air. Additionally, there was a stink bug in the bathroom. While it's understandable that insects can occasionally get in despite precautions, it was unpleasant as a guest. The refrigerator's power was turned off for energy-saving purposes, and even after turning it on, drinks took a long time to cool down. The elevator was narrow and seemed insufficient in number, making it time-consuming to get down to the lobby. I understand that APA Hotel is a business hotel; however, at over 10,000 yen per person per night, I expected better conditions overall. On a positive note, the young staff member who helped remove the stink bug was very polite and friendly!

    The worst Hotel ever.

    The room is small, dirty, and the location is inconveniently far from Shin-Osaka Station. I booked this accommodation near Shin-Osaka Station to catch an early morning Shinkansen in case of JR delays, but I would never stay at this hotel again. The cups were so dirty that using them felt like a health risk. When I accidentally locked my card key inside the room and contacted the front desk, they told me to come back to the front desk for a reissue. Since I couldn’t leave my heavy luggage behind, I had to carry it all back down to the front desk myself. Despite being far from Shin-Osaka Station, they misleadingly use a name like "Shin-Osaka Station Tower." Never again will I use this accommodation.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near Shin-Osaka Station, offering excellent accessibility. The Room this time was a triple room, spacious and truly comfortable. The breakfast buffet on the 32nd floor had ample seating space, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. The food was delicious. It would be helpful if there were more elevators available.

    Second stay

    I stayed for a live event this time (31st floor). The accommodation is close to Shin-Osaka Station, and the facility was clean and very nice. Due to the location, outside noise (cars, motorcycles, trains) can be heard quite clearly. I woke up in the morning due to train noise. If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend bringing earplugs. My daughter left early in the morning for university. However, only one of the three elevators was operational, so it took her a long time to get out of the hotel (she left her room 30 minutes before her Shinkansen departure but took over 10 minutes just to get outside). Since many people use this accommodation for work purposes as well, I hope this issue can be improved. During my previous stay, I opted for breakfast included with my booking. The view was great and the food was delicious; therefore, if I stay again next time, I would like to choose breakfast included again. There is also a convenience store right next door which is very convenient. I would love to stay here again!

    Conveniently located near the station and comfortable.

    The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, though it might be a bit tricky to find when using the Shinkansen. The Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served buffet-style in a restaurant with a great view, featuring Osaka specialties like takoyaki and even rare items like bonito, which was very satisfying. However, one point for improvement would be the shower curtain in the Room, which had an unpleasant musty smell. Aside from that, with a convenience store nearby, it’s an overall satisfying Hotel experience.

    The elevator is in poor condition.

    The Room is too small to open a suitcase. Additionally, it is mentioned that only one elevator stops on the 23rd floor between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, but in reality, this elevator serves up to the 32nd floor before coming down. You may end up waiting for more than 5 minutes each time. We recommend planning your outings with extra time in mind.

    It was comfortable.

    The 1-second check-in was very convenient. Check-out at 11:00 AM was also appreciated. It was a plan to stay on a high floor, and when I requested a room with a view of Shin-Midosuji, I got exactly the room I hoped for and had a pleasant stay. The step from the room to the unit bath was higher than expected, which surprised me until I got used to it (especially when stepping down). Breakfast had various side dishes and was delicious. It would be more enjoyable if there were slightly more dessert options. The night view was beautiful, making it relaxing and enjoyable.

    You can spend your time peacefully.

    Despite the fact that there were quite a few people at the front desk, no one was speaking loudly. No one was walking noisily in the hallway in front of the Room. During breakfast, everyone lined up calmly without cutting in line and could enjoy their meal peacefully. There were also foreigners, but they were all Westerners with excellent manners. The peaceful atmosphere is exclusive to APA Hotel where there are no Chinese guests.
