    I stayed at Kurayosh...

    I stayed at Kurayoshi City Hotel again on June 22. As there was a nearby get-together this time as well, I chose to stay overnight. Since my previous stay was comfortable, I felt confident booking again. The hotel is close to the venue, so getting there was easy and convenient—even after having drinks. The room was kept clean, and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. The facilities were sufficient, and I had a comfortable stay without any inconvenience. The staff were also polite and made the experience pleasant. This Hotel is appealing for its great location and comfortable stay environment. When visiting Kurayoshi for a get-together or business trip, I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

    I chose this Hotel m...

    I chose this Hotel mainly for its convenient access, as I had a get-together at a nearby yakiniku restaurant. The location was very convenient, with many restaurants in the area, and it felt ideal for plans like this. It was reassuring to be able to return to the Hotel right after the gathering, and being able to relax without worrying about the time was a big plus. The room was simple but clean, and I stayed comfortably. The Facility offerings were more than sufficient, and it felt perfectly suitable for a short stay. The staff were polite, and check-in/check-out went smoothly. Overall, this was a Hotel that stood out for its great location and ease of use. I think it’s an Accommodation I can especially recommend when convenience matters—such as for nights out or business trips.

    The Annex building was very clean, new, and comfortable to stay in.

    I stayed in the annex building. It was very clean, new, and comfortable. I would like to stay here again next time. There is also a large public bath, and I enjoyed using it. However, perhaps because I went at 11:30 p.m. (it closes at midnight), the bathroom temperature felt a little low. I think this should be improved as well, to help prevent heat shock. Thank you.

    Best value for money!

    This is my third time staying here, and I think the price is very reasonable for a stay with two meals included during a three-day weekend. The dinner was luxurious, and offering it at this price is very considerate. I also enjoyed relaxing in the Onsen. I would like to use this Hotel again when visiting Kurayoshi.

    If only the Room had a clock.

    The front desk staff and restaurant staff were very accommodating, and I was satisfied. However, I wished there was a clock in the room. Well, checking my smartphone works fine, but it caught my attention a little. Regarding the women's bath, as mentioned in other reviews, my wife said there were not many washing areas. However, she didn't find it to be a major issue and was happy that there was a large public bath (she had assumed that business hotels wouldn't have one). I would like to stay here again if I have another chance to visit Kurayoshi.

    We borrowed items like bicycles and bottle openers. The staff was friendly and provided attentive service. The Room was clean and satisfactory. I think the women's bath was a bit small, but since it was private, it was great. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Premium Twin received high satisfaction ratings.

    I stayed with my husband. Since he only needed a place to sleep, we initially booked the cheapest Room, but it felt small, so we changed the Reservation to a Premium Twin. The Room, bathroom, and toilet were all spacious and clean—so much so that I was amazed this was a Business Hotel Room! It felt more like a simple City Hotel room. The only disappointment was the women's large Onsen. There were two washing stations and one shower booth. When I used the bath right after check-in, I had it all to myself and enjoyed the Onsen leisurely. However, when I went at 8:30 PM, there were six people: two using washing stations, one just getting out of the bath, one giving up on waiting for an available station, and another using the shower booth after me. I assume that since Business Hotels have more male guests than female guests, they designed smaller women's baths. However, as more women are likely to stay in such hotels in the future, I hope they will consider expanding the women's bath during renovations. Also, it would be great if amenities like lotion and moisturizer could be provided in the large Onsen area. Other than that minor issue with amenities and space allocation for women’s facilities—it was an excellent Hotel stay overall! I would love to stay here again on my next trip to Tottori.     Public Bath

    The large public bath was the reason I chose this place, but the women's bath only had three showers, and it felt cramped with just four people inside, making it hard to relax. I heard that the men's bath has about 10 showers and is spacious enough to accommodate around 15 people.

    I had a very pleasant stay.

    After staying one night in Shimane, we stayed at Kurashiki City Hotel the next day. Feeling tired, we looked for a delicious dinner spot where we could relax and found a conveyor belt sushi restaurant called Hokkaido. Since we wanted to enjoy our time leisurely, the hotel kindly arranged a taxi for us. The taxi ride cost about 1,500 yen one way from the hotel. We laughed as a couple about spending 3,000 yen on transportation just to eat sushi! However, compared to our favorite conveyor belt sushi in Kansai, this place was overall more affordable and very delicious. The taxi driver mentioned that taxis are rarely seen passing by in Kurayoshi unless you call for one. Most tourist spots have free parking here—something unimaginable in Kobe, Osaka, or Kyoto! While the hotel's exterior shows its age to some extent, the rooms were all clean and well-maintained. The bathroom sink area including faucets and mirrors was sparkling clean! Breakfast was also cleanly presented and delicious; it made for a pleasant start to our day. If I have another chance to visit Kurayoshi again, I would love to stay at this hotel once more. Thank you very much!

    Spacious and surprising!

    The room was spacious and reasonably priced, which was very satisfying. It would have been more convenient to have an additional trash bin, especially in the bathroom changing area. The bathroom was also spacious and comfortable, but a chair in the washing area would have been appreciated. Aside from these points, the service at the front desk was excellent. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

    Fairly satisfied

    It may not be called a large bath, but it is an onsen that is new and clean. However, it feels like it can barely fit three people. There is a large supermarket behind the property, which is convenient, but there are no dining options in the station-front area. When we tried to have dinner, we were disappointed to find out that it was limited to reservers due to busyness. It would be helpful if this information was posted near the elevator or at the front desk.

    Next, I will use the large public bath.

    I had a very pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and I was happy with the prompt and friendly arrangement of a taxi. I also enjoyed the coffee in the room. Unfortunately, I returned to the hotel late and couldn't wake up in time to use the large public bath, which was disappointing. I definitely want to use it next time!

    Pride as the number one Hotel in the region

    Each employee sincerely and earnestly engages in service, making for a pleasant stay. They likely work with the pride of being the top Hotel in Kurayoshi. The meals are also delicious. These strengths more than compensate for the negative aspects, such as the station being a little less than a 10-minute walk away and the plumbing feeling old. The large public bath was not used.

    Convenient.

    Considering all the cost performance, this time it scored very high. The Facility is not particularly new or anything, but considering the accommodation fee, it was a good deal. I don't know about businessmen, but for sightseeing, I recommend this place. The large public bath is clean, and it comes with a returnable coin locker. The biggest selling point is the location. There is a bus stop right in front of the Hotel, so there's no need to go to Kurayoshi Station (← you can walk from the Hotel to the station). There is a small shopping mall next door, and a convenience store within walking distance. The problem is the bus route search; even if you check on your smartphone, it doesn't show up in the search (lol). In reality, the buses were going back and forth more than expected, which was convenient. Since the Hotel doesn't have information on the buses, you should go to the tourist information center right after getting off at Kurayoshi Station and get a bus timetable before moving.
