    If you’re looking for Accommodation in Shinjuku

    I stayed here while looking for Accommodation near the Shinjuku area during my trip to Tokyo, and I had a comfortable stay.

    Unit bathroom

    The toilet area in the unit bath is very cramped. The toilet seat is also small. I tried to use it, but it was impossible. I have stayed at various Business Hotels before, and this was the worst.

    Honestly, it was underwhelming. Given my expectations for an Accommodation reserved through IKYU, it didn’t quite deliver. Although the Hotel feels dated overall, it was clean, the front desk staff were kind and courteous, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. However, even at the end of March the Room only allowed heating control, so it was too hot to sleep comfortably; the toilet had a small Western-style bowl that was difficult to sit on; and there was a strong odor from the bathroom area. If they can address the air conditioning and the smell issues, I think 3 stars would be fair.

    It was great.

    I stayed with my 2-year-old child. We arrived around 6 PM on Saturday. The front desk was crowded with foreign guests, but a male staff member asked for my name and promptly called me when the counter became available. I appreciated being able to choose amenities like cleansing products, face wash, lotion, and moisturizer. The compact room was efficient and comfortable, equipped with a large TV, refrigerator, hairdryer, electric kettle, tea/coffee set, water bottles, five hangers, sleepwear, toothbrushes, etc. The bathroom area was clean and well-maintained; even as someone who is slightly particular about cleanliness, I had no issues using the toilet or bath. As mentioned in other reviews, it did feel noisy outside at times—I woke up at 6 AM due to young people making noise—but this allowed me to have an early breakfast which turned out well. The breakfast featuring yellowtail shabu-shabu (apparently seasonal) was delicious! There were also several small Japanese side dishes that I appreciated. In the morning near my room door, two cleaning staff members greeted me warmly with smiles and friendly conversation—it left a positive impression! Having a Seven-Eleven within a one-minute walk was very convenient too. There were no long waits for elevators like in larger hotels; they arrived quickly after pressing the button—a nice touch! The location is excellent—just a short walk from Higashi-Shinjuku Station and close to Shin-Okubo—and considering this prime location in Tokyo's city center area along with reasonable pricing made it feel like great value for money. I would love to stay here again if I visit Tokyo in the future!

    No major complaints as a means of accommodation.

    Is it rare these days? The room key is an insert-type magnetic card. You need it to open the hotel entrance door when returning from outside, but if you come back at a reasonable time, the staff will open it with a remote control. The transparent door of the room's refrigerator is novel. There were two sets of towels and everything, so I gratefully used them. All amenities are in the room. Recently, it's been popular to take them freely from the lobby, which has its pros and cons, but there's no need to go and get them. However, I only noticed the existence of the body towel before leaving. For some reason, the toilet seat is small. The shower was hot unless set to a lower temperature. It's nice that there's a 7-Eleven nearby. Shinjuku Station is a bit far. The hotel has all the necessary functions for a stay. The downside is the rising accommodation costs. I was charged an accommodation tax.

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time using this hotel, but I had a comfortable stay. It is close to Seibu Shinjuku Station and located in an easy-to-find area. Although there are mostly love hotels nearby, the security is solid, and you cannot enter the hotel without a room card 24 hours a day. Even on rainy days, they lend you an umbrella, and their kind service and breakfast buffet are delicious. I would like to use it again.
