    It was a clean Hotel.

    The Room is compact, but it’s thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience—for example, there’s a sliding door between the bedroom and the entrance, and the refrigerator blends in like part of the interior. I could hear voices from the hallway, but I couldn’t hear any noise from the neighboring Room at all. The bed wasn’t originally a double; it was made by pushing two beds together, so sleeping in the middle wasn’t very comfortable.

    A relaxing, home-like atmosphere

    We stayed for two nights in a Premier Twin Room and fully enjoyed the Gion Festival—Yoiyoiyama, Yoiyama, and the Saki Matsuri. It was an extremely hot time of year, but the Hotel is in a very convenient location, so we used it as our base while visiting places such as the Sugimoto Residence and the Nagae Residence. The cold drinks from the drink service at the Hotel entrance were a big help, quickly cooling us down after being out in the heat. The Room was very spacious and relaxing. We were also able to fill the bathtub and enjoy a long soak, making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely like to continue staying here in the future.

    The price was low, which was nice, but…

    The Room was clean and the price was affordable, so I thought it was a great place to stay. However, I was shocked by the staff member’s attitude at both check-in and check-out. From check-in, she seemed to be in a bad mood. I tried not to let it bother me, but after checking out I asked to leave my luggage with the same older female staff member (and her attitude was poor again). I told her, “I’ll be back shortly,” but she didn’t respond (maybe she didn’t hear me). When I returned about 20 minutes later, she silently took the luggage claim tag out of my hand and then asked me at the luggage area, “What color?”—which surprised me. If the luggage is managed by number, asking “what color?” didn’t make sense. When I answered, she brought my luggage out while still looking irritated. It had been a wonderful trip, but this left me feeling sad at the end. The Accommodation itself was good, which makes it even more disappointing. I’m not asking for overly friendly service, but I do want them to stop treating guests so rudely.

    I’d love to stay here again!

    I stayed here as a solo traveler in Kyoto for 2 nights and 3 days! The Room isn’t very large, but it was very clean, and the amenities and Facility were well equipped, so I had no inconvenience and felt very comfortable! I booked without breakfast, but guests could enjoy unlimited bread in the morning and unlimited drinks, which was really great. Next time I stay, I’d also like to use the daytime drink service. It was wonderful. I’d definitely like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto!

    The best Room ever

    I was truly impressed that the Room has a private garden inside and is set up so you can make matcha tea!! The lounge also offers detox water and a matcha-making setup, making it well worth staying here even for Japanese guests or Kyoto locals. I will definitely stay again! Thank you very much!!

    A Hotel where you can enjoy a comfortable stay with a great-value Plan

    The Hotel is clean, and offers a wide range of services, including welcome drinks. We were very satisfied with our stay on this great-value Plan.

    The location was great.

    The atmosphere was stylish. The welcome drink was appreciated. One of the non-built-in chairs was broken—the seat had come off. The screw at the shower joint was loose, so water wouldn’t come out properly; I managed to fix it and used it anyway. Even though the Room’s windows don’t open, several mosquitoes were flying around at night and in the morning (I took care of them). The location is great and the free bread was delicious, so I’d like to stay again, but next time I’d like a higher-floor Room where mosquitoes won’t come in.

    It was comfortable.

    I was able to relax in the calm, wood-carved Room. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned, and I had a very comfortable stay. The location is also great—very convenient. Thank you for your hospitality.

    A Relaxing Hotel

    The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, not just businesslike. The welcome drink is also a nice touch. Breakfast is simple but delicious. It’s the kind of Hotel you’ll want to call “myhotel.” If possible, I’d love to stay long-term.

    Wonderful Hotel

    The bus stop is right in front, and there’s a convenience store next door, yet the location is quiet. The Room feels spacious when you leave the door open, with an innovative layout. The hairdryer and kettle are carefully selected and lovely. However, the black furnishings show dust and scratches easily, which was a bit concerning. Also, one of the bedside lights didn’t work. The stylish atmosphere was very satisfying overall. I felt lucky to stay at such an affordable price!

    The front desk staff...

    The front desk staff ignored us even when we greeted them. The breakfast staff did the same. Perhaps this is their policy because there are many foreigners. So, we stopped greeting them from the next day.
