    We had a comfortable stay.

    It was a bit of a walk from the station, but still relatively close. I was happy that the large public bath was spacious and included an open-air bath. Perhaps because we were on the top floor, it was quiet and we were able to stay comfortably.

    Great value for money.

    I chose this Hotel because of the price, and the Facility was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was also delicious.\nI would like to stay here again when I visit Fukuoka.

    Close to the station, clean, and comfortable overall!

    What I liked - Close to the station - Paper cups provided - Mineral water included (one bottle per night of stay) - If you are an APA member, checkout is at 11:00 (can be extended by 1 hour for 1,000 yen) - Amenities were sufficient (toothbrush, hairbrush, cotton swabs, cotton pads, etc.) - Ice available on the first floor Points for improvement (if I had to say) - I would like a bit more powdered tea.

    Frankly.

    It’s called a queen bed, but the Room is small. The bathtub is also small. It takes a long time to fill with hot water.

    The breakfast and large public bath were great.

    To use the breakfast and the large public bath, I stayed in the Central Building. Breakfast was served at Hanamidori on the 1st floor. There was a great selection of local specialties such as kashiwa rice, mentaiko, and chicken-broth udon, and everything was very delicious. The service was also excellent. The large public bath is also on the 1st floor. There is only one bank of lockers, so it can be difficult to change when it’s crowded. There is one indoor bath, one open-air bath, and one pot-style bath. The water is quite hot, so not many people were soaking. The washing area had shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and makeup remover gel, which was great. In the hair-dryer area, there were bottled toner and emulsion. The Room was a spacious twin with a luggage rack; it was clean and comfortable. You can store luggage under the bed. The washbasin area had paper cups, a toothbrush set, a razor, hair ties, and a hairbrush. There were no skincare items like toner provided in the Room, so I recommend bringing your own. There was also fabric spray for clothing and similar items. I would have appreciated disposable shoe-shine wipes. They also stored my luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The front desk staff were very courteous—I’d like to stay again.

    [Important] About Meals and the Large Public Bath

    I made a Reservation on IKYU for an Accommodation with a large public bath, but the Hotel I stayed at (WEST) did not have one. When I asked, I was told it is located in another building (CENTRAL) a few minutes’ walk away across the road, and that I could use it there. It was raining on the day of my stay, and since this is something I look forward to every time, I ended up giving up. I also booked a Plan with breakfast, but there was no breakfast venue in WEST either. I was told to go to the venue in another building (CENTRAL) across the road. With limited time in the morning, this is unacceptable. The staff were courteous, but regarding the large public bath, I specifically searched for and booked a Hotel with one, so this does not feel acceptable.

    Close to the station.

    Very close to Hakata Station and convenient. It was in the annex, but it was nearby so there were no issues. I think it’s fine for a solo business stay.

    It’s very close to Hakata Station and also close to the airport bus stop, so transportation is very convenient. The breakfast is delicious, the staff are very friendly, and although the room is small, it’s still fine for one person. However, I stayed in the West Building rather than the Central Building, so it was inconvenient to use the large public bath.

    The service was consistently reliable. Breakfast offered such a wide variety that I ended up eating too much. The bath availability shown on the TV is only a guideline, so it was surprisingly crowded.

    Everything you need—services and amenities—is more than well provided, and the price is affordable. The bed is also spacious. Only the Room is a bit small like a Business Hotel, but that’s to be expected. It’s also great that there is a large public bath.

    A unique Hotel with ...

    A unique Hotel with a large public bath on the first floor. During less crowded hours, there was no need to worry much about opening and closing the entrance door, but during busy times, it might be a concern. The consideration for meals and families with children is excellent. Check-in and check-out are fully automated, making it difficult to evaluate human services; therefore, it is rated as 3.

    The Wi-Fi was fast, allowing me to work comfortably and with peace of mind.

    I stayed at the accommodation during a business trip to Hakata. APA Hotel maintains a consistent quality standard across the whole country, allowing for a comfortable stay even in unfamiliar locations. Among them, this particular location had exceptionally clean and slightly luxurious interiors, providing a relaxing and calm environment. I checked in early and conducted various tasks such as remote meetings in the room, and the Wi-Fi speed was faster than expected, enabling me to focus on work without any issues. I plan to use this accommodation again for future business trips to Hakata.

    The breakfast was delicious.

    The Facility and Room are as expected from APA, but the breakfast included local specialties and was delicious. When calling a taxi from the Hotel, it is better to use apps like GO or DIDI rather than contacting the taxi company directly. Thank you for your hospitality.

    It might have been a bit disappointing.

    The Facility was clean, and the service was not bad. However, the Room lacked a folding stand for luggage, which was inconvenient. Perhaps it was a Plan without that stand. I expected a large public bath but found out it is only available at the APA Hotel across the street. On a cold and rainy day, I gave up on using the public bath. Breakfast is also only available there, which was disappointing. I don't think I'll use APA Hotel Chikushiguchi Station Front in the future—not because of poor service or hospitality but because its Facility felt tiring for travelers like me. My apologies.

    Worth the price

    The breakfast area was small, making it difficult to access the buffet. The public bath was also cramped, with used towels scattered around and a lot of hair on the floor, which was unpleasant.

    The room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit inconvenient that the microwave was only available on the first floor.

    It is quiet.

    In the past, I avoided staying at properties because the APA Hotel I stayed at was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. However, the APA in Hakata where I stayed this time is a bit far from the station, but the building is chic and, above all, quiet, so the distance doesn't bother me. There is only one elevator, and it doesn't come quickly when you're in a hurry. That might be a drawback. I also had breakfast at a different building on a different day, and it was delicious. The 1-second check-in is convenient, but it took some time to display the screen. I think it's an easy hotel to stay at. I thought APA would be my go-to in times of trouble.

    Satisfaction

    It's a bit of a walk from the station, but not a problem. It's relatively quiet as it's away from the downtown area.

    Good for exploring around Hakata Station and starting walks from Hakata Station.

    Convenient for exploring the area around Hakata Station and easy to use from Hakata Station. The access is just a couple of back alleys from the front of Hakata Station, so even if I returned exhausted that day, I could rest immediately. The room was compact and easy to use. My room was right next to the neighboring building, blocking out sunlight, so I couldn't grasp the time by the brightness, which allowed me to sleep well but I overslept. One more thing that bothered me was that as soon as I reached the floor of my room and the door opened, there was a smell that was either like water mold or some unknown fragrance that I couldn't tolerate.
