    Overall, I think it’s good.

    This was my first time staying here. We arrived at the Hotel around 6:30 p.m., so unfortunately the Hotel’s dedicated underground parking was full. However, the front desk staff kindly explained nearby affordable coin-operated parking and provided a map, so we were able to park right away. The Room matched the photos shown online at the time of Reservation and was almost exactly as expected. For breakfast, we visited soon after opening and were seated smoothly. The buffet layout was well organized, making it easy to move along and serve ourselves (depending on how busy it is). The selection was very diverse—there were too many items to list, including eel rice balls that could also be enjoyed with dashi broth, chicken nanban, chilled soup (hiyajiru), seared bonito, and a special beef tendon curry. There were also plenty of cut fruits including mango, as well as mango drinks to enjoy with yogurt, which I found very satisfying. One small disappointment was that there were no alcohol vending machines inside the building. At breakfast there were three types of shochu available as complimentary drinks (laugh), though I couldn’t try them because I had to drive. Overall, this was an Accommodation I’m glad I chose for this stay.

    This is my third stay!

    I have been staying here during my summer trips home since the year before last. The Room is spacious and the amenities are more than sufficient, and above all, the breakfast is excellent. There is a wide variety of dishes, all of them delicious, so my children were very satisfied as well. Having a coin laundry nearby was also very helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

    The central heating and air conditioning were disappointing.

    This was my second stay, about 30 years after the first. The interior has been updated, but the air conditioning is still an old centralized system, so you can only switch between high and low; even on low, it felt a bit cold. Breakfast included several handmade items from the kitchen and local specialties, and was at an acceptable level overall.

    More than adequate for a Business Hotel. The breakfast is delicious and offers great value for money.

    The facilities are a bit dated, but they are more than adequate for a Business Hotel. The breakfast selection is excellent, and I felt it offered great value for money.

    A bit disappointing.

    On my first stay here in Miyazaki in a while, I used this property for the first time. I lowered my rating because it seemed the room hadn’t been cleaned in time—I found an ashtray full of cigarette butts hidden under the TV. The bathtub also felt gritty, so it may not have been cleaned either…

    The location is excellent, but the facilities are outdated.

    Convenient location near the station with parking available. We stayed in a Superior Queen Double room. It was spacious enough for three people, including a child sharing existing bedding. However, the cracks in the sink and the old bathtub were quite noticeable.

    Budget-Friendly Hotel

    For those looking for an affordable stay, the location is great—just a 5-minute walk from the station! While the Hotel has a nostalgic Showa-era feel and the plumbing reflects its age, it's only about a 7-minute walk to Gokuraku no Yu (public bath), which made for a comfortable morning bath experience instead of using the Hotel's facilities. If you choose to use the Hotel's bath, note that it’s an old-fashioned unit bath with basic functionality. Consider what matters most to you when making your decision!

    The breakfast was truly excellent!

    I read in a review that "the breakfast is delicious!" and was curious, so I tried the breakfast-included option... and it was true! I hope they consider offering a drink bar with alcohol in the evening as well. As for the facilities, they are average with no particular issues.

    Delicious breakfast!

    I traveled to Nichinan with my wheelchair-bound mother. We stayed in a triple room at a very affordable price, so I didn’t have high expectations for the room, but it was very spacious and comfortable. However, the toilet had a step of about 20 cm, which my mother couldn’t manage. A step stool was provided, but since it was the same height as the step itself, we couldn’t use it effectively. The bathroom was also spacious and allowed for a relaxing bath—though unfortunately not for my mother. For dinner, we made a reservation at the hotel’s eel restaurant and enjoyed their senior set menu—it was delicious! The breakfast buffet the next morning offered great variety and tasted wonderful. Surprisingly, guests without cars could enjoy free shochu—a fantastic perk! Aside from the issue with the toilet step, everything else was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to friends traveling to Miyazaki. Thank you for your hospitality!

    2F Unagi Restaurant Reception Hours

    The Hotel itself was fine, but the eel restaurant on the 2nd floor had an issue. The Hotel's website stated that takeout orders were accepted until 9:00 PM, so I went around 8:50 PM. However, I was told that the last order was at 8:30 PM and couldn't make a purchase. Orders should be accepted until the stated time, and I believe there is an error in the website information.

    The walls are thin.

    The normal conversation from the next room could be heard, as the walls seem to be thin. However, the service was excellent, and everything else was comfortable and pleasant! I think I will stay here again.

    The breakfast is very delicious!

    The Room on the top floor had a great view and was very clean. There were many types of breakfast, and all were very delicious and satisfying. I would like to use it again.
