    A safe and secure neighborhood.

    I thought it would be far from both subway stations, but from Honmachi Station on the Midosuji Line, I could walk through the covered shopping arcade, so it was easy to pick up daily necessities and find places to eat, and the area felt safe as well. The biggest reason we chose this Hotel was its stylish, new look—my wife was thrilled when she saw the exterior photos. If you’re staying in central Osaka, being near Honmachi Station is perfect for getting around.

    “Preferably…” sounds a bit hesitant.

    The location was great, and I also liked the calm atmosphere in the Room. If possible, I would have liked a clock—this was the first time I’ve stayed at a Business Hotel where there wasn’t one in the Room. Also, the shower room, toilet, and sink area were extremely small. Since it’s part of the Facility, I wonder if the space wasn’t properly considered at the design stage. It was a single Room, but it felt cramped, which was a bit disappointing.

    Great value and excellent location!

    I used this accommodation for the first time during a one-night business trip. It is conveniently located near Sakaisuji-Hommachi Station, with very clean facilities both inside and out, a large public bath, and a freely accessible lobby space, which was very helpful. While nearby hotels are expensive due to inbound demand, I was pleased to stay here at a reasonable price.

    Suitable for business trips

    I made the reservation because it includes a large public bath. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was also convenient to mirror to the TV. The automated check-in and check-out process saved time, which was great. The water in the large public bath was lukewarm, allowing me to relax and unwind from my business trip fatigue. I wondered if it’s kept lukewarm for international travelers or which one is supposed to be hotter water.

    The response from the front desk leader lacked hospitality. The first impression was poor, making everything seem unfavorable. I stay in Osaka twice a month, but I will not return here again.

    The pajamas were worn out, and the buttons were missing, making it uncomfortable to sleep with the front open. Additionally, the Room was small and lacked space to spread out luggage, which was inconvenient. The public bath was pleasant, so it was unfortunate overall.

    It is a good Hotel.

    Although there are three elevators, one was out of service due to maintenance. As it is a tall 20-story building, the waiting time for the elevators was long, but everything else about the stay was comfortable.

    Clean and equipped with a large public bath.

    Located within a 5-minute walking distance from Honmachi Station. The property is new, clean, and well-maintained. The Room is compact but includes a desk, making it convenient. While there is only a shower booth in the Room, there is also a large public bath available. I would love to stay here again.

    As an accommodation for the Kansai Expo

    We chose this accommodation for its convenient access to Yumeshima, the nearest station to the Kansai Expo, as well as its price and building age. The twin room was smaller than expected, but since it was only for sleeping, we accepted it. The building seemed relatively new and had a clean atmosphere, which was great. Both the bed and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of dishes that were carefully prepared—absolutely satisfying. We never imagined there would be curry with premium Japanese black beef! Typical stress from bathing in a twin room wasn’t an issue at all thanks to the large public bath available. We plan to visit again in October for the Expo and will stay here once more!

    The fire alarm went off suddenly at night.

    The fire alarm went off suddenly at night. Unsure whether to evacuate, I went to the lobby to check with the staff. They mentioned it was likely a false alarm or some malfunction, but they were still investigating. Unable to return to my Room, I waited for over 30 minutes for confirmation. From the start of the alarm until the end, there was no proactive explanation or guidance from Hotel staff; guests had to approach them for updates. This was my first time feeling so uneasy during a Hotel stay. Additionally, during summer, the temperature in the large public bath is too high. The women’s changing room in the public bath lacks proper air conditioning and has a musty smell lingering in it.

    Business Trip to Osaka

    I stayed for two nights during a business trip to Osaka, as I was looking for a place close to the meeting venue. The location near Midosuji and the station made it very convenient, with a Starbucks nearby as well. The Room only had a shower, but it was clean and comfortable. The pajamas provided at night were very pleasant, allowing me to relax comfortably. However, there was no baggage rack for luggage, which was inconvenient. Additionally, while towels were replaced by placing them in bags on the doorknob, trash and towels left in the hallway were not collected—even those from other Rooms—which I found unappealing in terms of appearance. Despite these concerns, considering the price point, I think it was reasonable overall.

    Hotel Grand Bell

    The reception service was disappointing, lacking smiles and feeling very mechanical. The Room was quite small for the price, and the bathroom was difficult to use. Dinner was all-you-can-eat, which is good, but staff conversations echoed loudly and ruined the atmosphere. Amenities were limited in variety. Breakfast was mediocre. There was no mention of parking when searching online. Regarding the Receipt, it wasn't provided unless requested by us. Service quality was poor overall.

    The breakfast area feels cramped, with tables placed in the aisles and close to each other, which detracted from enjoying the food. It might be worth reconsidering the layout and flow. Everything else was excellent and very satisfying, so this was the only disappointment.

    Best value for money.

    This accommodation offers great value for money. The room is stylish, more so than APA or Toyoko Inn. Since I usually only take showers, a bathtub was unnecessary. I bring my own amenities, so I only used what was provided as needed. There is also a large public bath and the bar offers discounts for guests. I haven't stayed at this type of hotel in Osaka before, but for this price, I am very satisfied. If I had to point out one downside, the desk was a bit small when I wanted to do some work. For those who need to work extensively, choosing the right room might be better.

    The room's blackout capability is poor, and the reception staff seems to have a part-time job attitude.

    The room is small but clean. The window has an aluminum partition, but a lot of light leaks through, so you will wake up with the dawn. If you want to sleep in, I recommend other Stays. In terms of service, the foreign cleaning staff provided pleasant service with smiles. However, I overheard the young male and female staff at the front desk whispering bad things in Japanese while attending to foreign guests twice. They used quite harsh words, and although I was not the subject, I was honestly taken aback. Even whispers can surprisingly be heard. Please be careful.
