The location is good, about a 6-7 minute walk from Kyoto Station, and I think it's convenient to use. The lobby, rooms, and large public bath are clean, and there are no particularly unpleasant aspects. Overall, it is well-designed and has a smart feel. The soundproofing also seemed solid. Since it was my first stay, I don't know about other rooms or prices at different times, but for a twin room with breakfast at this price, the cost performance is not bad. The front desk staff were also gentle and polite. Now, it seems that the hotel is not directly operated, so I was hesitant to write various things... I only used Ikkyu.com for this reservation... But I have something to say, so I'll write a little. Honestly, the breakfast is so-so. It doesn't look bad. It seemed like "Oh, this looks delicious." But the crucial taste, you know. When I ate it on the first day of my consecutive stay... hmm. Moreover, I thought, "Even though there are few customers, we have to wait," but on the second day... there are only 2 or 3 menu options, yet it takes a long time after ordering. I was told, "It's crowded, so please wait a moment," but not even a third of the seats were filled. Some people were already eating. I wanted to retort, "Where is it crowded?" On top of that, we were really kept waiting. In the end, it took about 25 minutes until it was ready. Come on, that's not "a moment." At least tell us in advance how long we'll have to wait. Thanks to that, I ended up having to rush my child to Kyoto Station in the sweltering heat. In the morning, many people are busy, whether they are business or tourist guests, and you can't keep them waiting this long with just a few groups. If it takes time because it's handmade, you should reconsider the menu. It wasn't a breakfast that made me want to eat it again, even as a compliment. It's too elaborate and ends up tasting bad. It might not appeal to Japanese or foreigners. On the day, I had to move to Itami for a flight. I was kept waiting with considerable irritation, so I wrote this.
