    This is just too awful.

    In tourist areas like this, I feel it’s enough just to sleep and take a shower, so I often choose Hotels that are reasonably clean with only minimal service. Here, even the coffee chain in the breakfast area was dirty. Since it’s a new Hotel, the Facility should be clean, but it felt like the cleaning staff simply have poor hygiene standards. Also, the AI device placed in the Room was truly unnecessary and got in the way. It took up space on the small table and reacted on its own even when I wasn’t talking to it, which was annoying. When I tried unplugging it and putting it on a chair, an anti-theft alarm went off, which was frustrating. Overall, it felt like a Hotel trying to improve efficiency but missing the mark. If you don’t mind things being dirty, this is one of the cheaper options in this area, so I think it offers fairly good value for a Hotel.

    Since it is right in front of the station, it was very convenient, and the Room and Facility were new and clean. Breakfast was quite ordinary.

    This is the recommended place to stay in Atami.

    I was looking for a cost-effective place near the station as I planned to check in around 9 PM and check out before 8 AM the next morning. The Room's size, cleanliness, bed comfort, and shower pressure were all excellent. Breakfast was served quickly and was very satisfying. The staff at the front desk were kind and very pleasant. This is a Hotel I will definitely use whenever I visit Atami.

    Stylish space

    The room was on a high floor facing the station. From the room, I enjoyed views of passing trains and greenery. The unit bath was spacious enough for a relaxing soak, and while the room was compact, it was clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have a tea set in the room, and I believe women might appreciate basic amenities as well. Breakfast consisted of light meals, but both the coffee and sandwiches were delicious. With its excellent location and friendly front desk staff, my stay overall was very pleasant. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Minimal facilities, yet very comfortable!

    I stayed for one night for the first time. The room was compact and the facility minimal, but everything necessary was provided. The water from the showerhead had a comfortable temperature and ample flow. Additionally, while the bed's springs were firm, the sheets and pajamas were comfortable, allowing for a pleasant sleep. Moreover, it is conveniently located just about 250 meters to the left after exiting Atami Station's ticket gate (the only gate on the south side of the station building facing the sea). There is also a convenience store across the street, making it extremely convenient. Furthermore, all guests seem to receive complimentary drinks and sandwiches from Tully’s operating in the hotel lobby—a delightful bonus! Even though there are no onsen facilities in this hotel despite being in Atami, this accommodation more than makes up for it! I will definitely stay here again when visiting near Atami.

    Totally satisfied

    Stayed with my mother on a budget trip. The location is close to the station, and we stored our luggage in lockers before check-in to explore the town. Check-in was smooth, and we entered the Room. It was very quiet, with no noise from neighboring Rooms—excellent soundproofing. Although there was no bathtub and only a shower, the shampoo and conditioner smelled great and felt so good that I wanted to purchase them. Amenities were basic but sufficient; having items like lotion would have been even better. The provided pajamas were shirt-dress style, so I brought my own bottoms. When I used the humidifier in the Room, it made my throat dry, but stopping its use resolved this issue. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying enough for me. Since I don't drink black coffee, having 2-3 options to choose from would be ideal. Considering the price point, it exceeded expectations—I’d love to stay here again!

    Bed Height

    The bed height felt too high and somewhat inconvenient for use. It would be ideal if the bed height allowed feet to touch the floor comfortably without knees floating when seated on the bedside.

    The space is simple and perfect for relaxation.

    I have stayed here several times before. Breakfast? The morning service has become simpler over time. Perhaps a small portion of ochazuke is better for foreign guests than sandwiches. (It seems to have become simpler compared to the initial onigiri offering.) The guest rooms lack a phone, memo pad, pen, or post-it notes. Without a phone, what should one do in case of an emergency? How far can simplicity go while maintaining comfort? Simplicity can still preserve cleanliness. When I requested a 1-hour extension through the Reservation system, there was no response. Usually, Hotels provide feedback... Upon checking at check-in time, they seemed aware but appeared to ignore it intentionally or reluctantly agreed with "¥1500 per hour." Since each Hotel has different rates, I accepted it; however, there was no smile during the interaction. A simple space and customer service are opposites in this sense—hospitality should always come with a smile!

    Good soundproofing

    The soundproofing was excellent, and the high ceiling was a nice touch. The building is still new and clean, but the bathtub could use better cleaning with products like Bath Magiclin as it felt rough to the touch.

    It was beautiful.

    I was looking for a place to stay to watch the Atami Fireworks Festival and found this hotel, so I decided to stay here on short notice. It was a business hotel, but it was clean, and my daughter who stayed with me was very satisfied. Please consider using it again!

    Conveniently located near the station!

    Close to the station and very convenient. Based on reviews, amenities and paper cups were available near the elevator. Breakfast was quick and satisfying as I had an early departure. The bed was comfortable, and the nightwear was a one-piece type. While trying to wash only my feet, I couldn't figure out how to switch between the shower and rain shower, ending up soaking my head with water. The sink in the room was convenient for getting ready, but it felt slightly high even for me at 162 cm tall. Overall, a satisfactory hotel experience.

    I probably won't use it anymore...

    Shabby tables and chairs, furniture size that doesn't balance well with the room's spaciousness, no amenities, and you have to go to the front desk to get everything including the kettle... The breakfast is just pouring hot water over grilled rice balls... Only two check-in machines, leading to wait times... No phone in the room... It was a disappointing package for a property bearing the Prince name...

    Convenient location at an affordable price

    3-minute walk from Atami Station. The taxi stand is also nearby, and there is a convenience store just around the corner, making it an excellent location. The facilities are new, and the double room bed was spacious and had a firmness that suited my preference. What I was dissatisfied with was that the toilet in the unit bath was too small and positioned too close to the wall, making it very difficult to use. The bathtub was spacious and deep for a hotel in this price range, but I was very disappointed with why the toilet was made so inconvenient in size and position.

    Necessary and sufficient for complete satisfaction.

    As the name "Smart Inn" suggests, it is not luxurious, but it is a sufficient Hotel with all the necessary amenities. The front desk is simple, and it is a type of Hotel where you check in using a machine like those at the airport and pick up the necessary amenities before heading to your Room. It seems to be new, and the Room was clean. The complimentary ochazuke served for breakfast was refreshing and delicious. I liked it, so I will stay again.
