    A Good Night’s Sleep

    Quiet despite being close to the station. The room was also very quiet, and I slept soundly. The hot towel at check-in was so refreshing. Receiving a tablet at check-out gave me peace of mind. The Hotel staff also had a calm atmosphere, which helped me relax. Thank you very much.

    The station was nearby and very convenient. The Room seemed to have been renovated, and it was great that the bathroom and toilet were separate.

    Amenities Women Will Love

    This was my first stay, and I traveled solo. The Room had been renovated, with a bright color scheme that felt comfortable and reassuring. There were two shared microwave areas, and I appreciated that paper plates and plastic forks were provided there for guests to use. What I liked most was the built-in mirror—when you lift it up, lights turn on on both sides, making it easy to apply makeup. The front desk staff were also pleasant, giving the Hotel a calm and reassuring atmosphere. It’s very close to Otsuka Station. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Bath

    It was great that the bathroom was separate from the toilet and had a washing area. Many Hotels these days have shallow, lie-down style tubs, but this one let me stretch my legs and was reasonably deep, making it very comfortable. The bed is also spacious. I would stay here again.

    Breakfast Information

    The content was good, but compared to other Hotels, it would have been better if the start time of 7:00 was around 6:00 or 6:30. It was challenging to manage breakfast → restroom → departure. It was very difficult to leave the Hotel by 8:00.

    A nightmare-like terrible aftertaste

    For over 30 years, I have stayed at numerous accommodations both domestically and internationally, but this was the first time I had such a terrible experience, prompting me to share it here. Upon arriving in the room, I noticed several mysterious long white hairs glowing on the cushion atop the bed. At first, I was speechless. Gradually, I thought, "Wait... are these cat hairs?" Why would there be pet hair in a hotel room? It made no sense to me. Moreover, as someone with a cat allergy, I immediately contacted the front desk to request a room change. Their response felt reluctant (and at that point there wasn’t even an earnest apology; it almost felt like they doubted my claim). Although they did change my room and I decided to make peace with staying for the night after that incident, things took another turn for the worse when departing the next morning. While using the toilet's bidet function before leaving... what came into view was so revolting (likely never cleaned) — brown and black filth covering its nozzle — that recalling it now still makes me feel sick. I hesitated momentarily about whether or not to report this issue but ultimately decided it should be addressed for future improvement. At checkout time, I calmly approached reception saying I'd like to speak with someone in charge regarding an important matter. However, their initial responses were dismissive: "What is your concern?" After persistently requesting further assistance more firmly than before—finally—a young man claiming responsibility appeared as their representative manager during that shift.     Accommodation after 8 years

    I stayed at the accommodation to request kimono dressing for the next day. They ensured everything was ready on time as scheduled. It is very close to the nearest JR station.

    This was my first stay. After reading the reviews, I found that the high ratings were accurate, with excellent staff service and cleanliness of the room providing great satisfaction. However, there is one concern. Adjusting the air conditioning in the room was challenging; turning it off during sleep caused a rise in temperature and humidity, while leaving it on made mornings uncomfortably cold. While this may be difficult to address as it concerns the entire facility, checking this aspect for sleeping comfort would be appreciated.

    This was my second stay, and the staff's service was excellent. The Facility was well-equipped, allowing for a very comfortable experience. Additionally, Otsuka is less crowded than Ikebukuro and has various dining options nearby, making it a great environment. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next visit to Tokyo.

    The bathroom was dirty, which was surprising.

    The location was great, just a few minutes' walk from Otsuka Station, and at first glance, the Room looked clean. However, when the bathwater overflowed into the washing area, a large amount of black debris flowed out. It was unclear what kind of dirt it was, but it seemed likely that the underside of the bathtub had not been cleaned for a long time. A significant amount of black flaky debris came out from underneath. It was quite unpleasant.

    It was comfortable.

    Conveniently located near the station with various shops and convenience stores nearby. The complimentary mineral water service, which is often omitted these days, was a pleasant surprise, and the disposable slippers were a nice touch. The separate bath and toilet setup added to the comfort. It would have been even better if tea options included not just green tea and coffee but also black tea. Additionally, it was unfortunate to see the filter maintenance indicator on the air purifier displayed. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I would love to visit again!

    Very satisfied.

    This was my first time using the service, and I was very satisfied with the convenient access from the station and the relatively affordable and clean Room, especially considering the rising prices of Hotels in Tokyo. Additionally, I sent my luggage by courier and left it before check-in, and instead of picking it up at the front desk, it was delivered to my Room before check-in. The customer service, both over the phone and in person, was kind and courteous, and I was satisfied with everything. Although my stay was short due to my schedule, I would like to relax at the Hotel next time and definitely plan to repeat my visit. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    The room was spaciou...

    The room was spacious despite being close to the station. I was especially impressed with the bath having a washing area. I was able to fill the bathtub and relax. The facilities and amenities had everything I needed, so I was satisfied. Otsuka is a fun town, so I would definitely like to use it again.

    The electricity doesn't turn on.

    As always, I think this is the best hotel in Otsuka, but there were some places where the table light and sideboard lighting did not work. It's a minor detail, but if they are set not to turn on for reasons such as SDGs, it would be considerate to have a note about it.
