    It was a very good Hotel.

    The lid on my coffee from the coffee shop wasn’t properly closed, and I didn’t notice and accidentally spilled it. Even though it was my mistake and caused trouble, you handled it very politely, which made my stay very pleasant. Thank you!

    Your go-to Hotel: Hotel JAL City Fukuoka Tenjin

    The location is practically Tenjin (nearest station: Akasaka), making it convenient not only for the office district around Nakasu and Hakata, but also for shopping areas like Tenjin and Yakuin, as well as academic neighborhoods such as Nishijin. Whenever I end up staying in Fukuoka on short notice, I always rely on this Accommodation. My stays in Fukuoka are usually packed and physically demanding, but it’s reassuring that there are Rooms with separate bath and toilet and a bathtub where you can stretch out your legs. On top of that, the 12:00 checkout Plan is available, so I can comfortably stay out late entertaining clients. That said, I oversleep every time and still haven’t made it to breakfast—but that’s just part of the charm. Next time I stay, I plan to fully enjoy breakfast as well.

    I have stayed here several times. The bathroom has a separate washing area, which is very helpful when traveling with children. I used the parking lot, and it was available after the check-out time for an additional fee. This time I stayed on a weekend, and it felt like there were more international guests than before.

    Accommodation for a Homecoming Stay

    I stayed for two nights while visiting my hometown. It was a very nice Hotel. It has great access from the subway, and there are a supermarket, drugstore, and Starbucks nearby, which is convenient. The bed was comfortably firm, and the desk and chair were at just the right height, making it easy to work. My Room had frosted glass windows, so I couldn’t see outside; next time I’ll choose a Room with a view.

    A Calm Business Hotel

    I stayed here because it’s within walking distance of Tenjin Station, the bathroom and toilet are separate, and there is parking available. To enter the multi-story parking garage, you need to wait for a front desk staff member to arrive. They came quickly, but there was no assistance with luggage throughout check-in/out, which was a bit disappointing. As for the Room, don’t expect much of a view. I was given a Room facing the street, but it felt very exposed and visible from next door. Perhaps due to the layout, despite being 28 m², it felt cramped and I couldn’t fully open my suitcase. There also weren’t enough hangers. However, more than anything else, the bathroom was spacious and the shower quality was excellent—I enjoyed it very much. That alone was more than satisfying. For dinner, I walked toward Chuo Ward Office (a 2–3 minute walk from the Hotel), then headed in the Tenjin direction; there are popular izakaya pubs and stylish Italian restaurants along the way, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding somewhere to eat. Breakfast also had a wide variety of items and was delicious. All staff were kind and gave clear guidance—thank you very much. One thing: at the front desk, one staff member spoke on the phone in quite a loud voice and I could hear everything being said. It would be better if such calls could be handled discreetly out of earshot.

    A Highly Satisfying Stay

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay on a business trip. The room had a desk that made it easy to work, and it was very convenient even for business use. The location was also great, and I found it convenient for both sightseeing and business trips. What impressed me most was the hospitality of the staff. While I was working on a lobby sofa during room cleaning hours, they kindly brought me a chair so I could work more comfortably. I truly appreciated this thoughtful attention to detail. Throughout my stay, every staff member was polite and pleasant. One small concern was that I noticed black mold inside the overflow drain hole of the bathroom sink in the room. It’s not an easy spot to see, but if cleaning reached these areas as well, the stay would be even more comfortable. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay, and it’s a Hotel I would like to use again if I have the opportunity.

    The facilities are well maintained, and the staff were very helpful, so I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. However, it was disappointing that there is no convenience store nearby. There is a small convenience-store-style corner on the second floor, but the selection is quite limited. Also, I believe there were international guests staying on the same floor who were noisy and made me uncomfortable; I would appreciate it if you could place me on a different floor from international guests if possible.\nOverall, it is a very comfortable Hotel, and I would be happy to stay again.

    Prefer soft and lightweight bedding.

    I always stay here during my business trips to Fukuoka. The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, and the Room is clean and comfortable. If I had to mention one thing, the comforter felt a bit firm... However, overall, it was an excellent Hotel with no complaints!

    A new and beautiful Hotel with an excellent location

    Close to the exit of Akasaka Subway Station and within walking distance to Tenjin, the location is excellent. The room is a double type, and while it may feel a bit small for two people due to more space allocated to the bathroom area, it is new, clean, and overall satisfactory.

    50 steps from the station.

    I usually stay at Nikko near Hakata Station, but since it was fully booked, I tried this place for the first time. It was surprisingly convenient as I didn’t have to pass through the crowded Hakata Station. Being new, it was comfortable. The compact Room had only one desk, but various items were placed on it, so I had to move them aside. It would be better if the desk was kept clear of items. At the breakfast venue, more than two-thirds of the seats were empty, yet I was seated next to a couple for some reason. The seats on the other side remained empty until I finished eating—it felt a bit odd. The food included dishes like goboten udon and was delicious!

    A chic city Hotel.

    The atmosphere is chic and modern with dim lighting. Conveniently located near Akasaka Subway Station and within walking distance of Tenjin, making it ideal for dining and shopping. However, I felt a bit sorry for having to call the intercom each time to have the front desk staff assist when arriving by car. The hotel is clean, offers a decent variety of breakfast options including Fukuoka specialties like tonkotsu ramen, and provides great value for money.

    Perfect—just what I needed!

    Although some parts may be new, the Room was clean, the bed and futon were soft and very comfortable, and the location—just a 1-minute walk from Akasaka Station—made the stay excellent. When I come to Hakata, I would like to make this my regular Accommodation.

    Located right next to the subway station exit, offering extremely convenient access. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff provided courteous service. The 24-hour self-service store was a helpful feature for easily purchasing drinks and snacks. The guest rooms feature a calming dark-toned interior, creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The adjustable lighting was also a nice touch. However, there is room for improvement in the cleanliness of the room I stayed in. Dust had clearly accumulated on the vent under the desk's refrigerator, and noticeable water stains were left on faucets, sinks, and bathtubs in both the bathroom and washroom areas. When I tried wiping them off with soap myself, they came off easily, suggesting that cleaning may not have been thorough enough. Additionally, there was an unidentified transparent jelly-like substance attached to the bottom of the bathtub faucet that oozed out when turning it—this was unpleasant.

    The bathtub water did not get hot, so I had to fill it using the shower. I have stayed here several times, and it is fine for just spending the night. However, the hallways and rooms are narrow and dimly lit. Considering the JAL name, I think a bit more effort could be made to improve the experience.

    New, clean, and convenient

    Stayed with a no-meal plan. Conveniently located near bustling areas like Tenjin and Daimyo, making it easy to walk to dinner or shopping. During the stay, the Sakura Festival at Maizuru Castle (with nighttime illumination) was held and could be visited within a 5-minute walk. The room was new, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom had a layout with a washing area next to the bathtub, which was very user-friendly. The staff provided excellent service, ensuring a pleasant stay.
