    Two weeks ago!

    Since there was an event for my favorite artist at ROHM Theatre Kyoto, I stayed here for the first time about two weeks ago—and I was happy to stay again! This time I chose the plan with breakfast and was able to relax and take my time. Just like last time, I’m completely satisfied! After checking out, we left our luggage here while sightseeing in Kyoto. When we came back to pick it up, a male staff member kindly told us to take a break and enjoy some juice at the drink bar. Even though we had already checked out, he was so considerate. My elderly mother was with me, so this really helped a lot. My mother said she wants to stay again, so I’d love to come back. P.S. I took too many of my favorite yatsuhashi at breakfast and ended up eating a lot—sorry! It was a wonderful family trip and we were very satisfied!

    Your First Hotel

    I had an event for my favorite artist at ROHM Theatre Kyoto, so I could only stay for a short time, but the Room was amazing! I was also happy that the bathroom had a separate washing area and wasn’t a unit bath. Next time, I’d like to stay longer with a Plan that includes breakfast! The female staff member who helped me at check-in had such a lovely smile!

    A fairly new Hotel with plenty of space. The location is very convenient, and the service is just right—neither lacking nor excessive. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

    It was very clean and comfortable.

    I chose this place because I had business at Miyakomesse. It was about a 10-minute walk, and the path was quiet with many temples and charming traditional houses, offering beautiful scenery. The Room was very clean, and having the bath and toilet separate was a nice touch. If I may add, it would be even better if there were a makeup mirror commonly found in Hotels and stronger water pressure in the sink. The breakfast pork miso soup was very delicious. I had hoped for more varieties of traditional side dishes (obanzai). There is also a convenience store nearby, and it’s conveniently located close to the station.

    For Visitors to Kyoto University Yoshida Campus

    Used for attending Kyoto University's open campus. Slightly farther from Sanjo Station than expected, but only an 8-minute taxi ride to the campus for 1,500 yen. Many foreign guests were staying, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options, with the miso soup with pork being especially hearty and delicious. The in-house wear is one-size-only, so bringing your own room wear might be a good idea. Even when picking up luggage after leaving it at the accommodation, all staff greeted me with smiles and provided excellent service. Great value for money; I would love to stay again!

    It's like a penalty game!

    Although initially attracted by the description of a "quiet residential area" and "separate bath and toilet," I chose this small, apartment-like Hotel over others. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The Room failed to provide cleanliness, a quiet environment, or comfortable air conditioning. It’s unclear what makes this place “International Premium.” The cleaning was subpar (dust on shelves and lights, fingerprints on mirrors, dirt in the sink and bathroom), making it feel unclean. Additionally, from the moment I entered the Room, the loud noise from the refrigerator compressor was unbearable. I had to turn it off to endure my stay. I stay at Hotels about 100 days a year but have never been bothered by refrigerator noise before. Sadly, I couldn’t use it for fruits or sweets that needed cooling. After explaining my concerns to reception staff, I canceled my Multiple Night Stay plans. While I wanted to leave immediately due to these issues, feeling under the weather and rainy conditions forced me to stay overnight. However, during the night, an even bigger issue arose—the air conditioner turned on automatically and started blowing cold air while I slept! Turning it off temporarily stopped it but only for a short time before restarting again without consent. When calling reception out of desperation late at night about this problem with no control over settings—they offered blankets instead since “the AC operates automatically.” But with its placement directly above hitting me in bed unexpectedly throughout sleep—it felt like punishment rather than rest! Morning wasn’t better either; water pressure barely trickled both hot/cold taps making basic grooming difficult—adding further stress unlike any previous Hotel stays experienced elsewhere globally! Management should ensure thorough post-cleaning inspections alongside addressing technical malfunctions such as noisy refrigerators/AC systems disrupting guests' comfortability & low-water flow during peak usage times within bathrooms urgently!

    It was beautiful and nice.

    It was very nice that the bath, toilet, and washroom were separate rather than a unit bath. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and despite being in a convenient location in the city, it was quite reasonably priced. Amenities are available on a take-as-you-need basis in front of the elevator on the first floor, so please make sure not to forget them. Since it's located in a residential area, it was quiet at night. There are also convenience stores like Daily Yamazaki (Deirī Yamazaki), 100 Yen Lawson (Hyaku En Rōson), and Family Mart (Famiri Māto) nearby which is convenient. The only concern I had was with the nanoe generator installed in the Room. It was mounted on the ceiling but made noise when sleeping so I turned it off.
