    It was a comfortable stay.

    This time, I stayed for three nights. I had reserved a single Room, but they upgraded my Room. With plenty of space, it was easy to spread out my luggage and organize three days’ worth of clothes and souvenirs without any stress. Thank you very much. I have stayed here many times. It is a long-established Hotel, and I personally love the antique-style furniture. It was my first summer in Kanazawa and it was definitely hot, so I was happy to find cold Kaga roasted tea prepared in the Hotel lobby. It was delicious. With wine available in the lounge and convenient access to sightseeing areas, I think this is an excellent value Hotel. When I visit again in a different season, I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

    It was a truly wonde...

    It was a truly wonderful Accommodation! I was looking for an Accommodation with a retro atmosphere, and I found exactly what I had hoped for. All of the staff were attentive in every detail—for example, they kindly prepared things in advance so we could get on the elevator right away when we returned—so we really felt their warm hospitality. When I come to Kanazawa again, I would love to stay here!

    This long-established Hotel offers everything you need, without excess.

    I use IKYU about 5–10 times a year—for family Onsen trips and business travel. When I stay at a Hotel for work, I’ve come to feel that what matters most is how thoughtfully the in-room supplies and amenities (such as towels) are provided. This time, I stayed at Kanazawa New Grand Hotel again. It’s a long-established Hotel—old, and it shows. Compared with newer Hotels nearby, signs of wear in the building and room Facility stand out. Still, everything is kept neat and clean, so it’s comfortable. Even in an older property, regular basic maintenance really makes a difference. The value for money was also satisfying. And using an actual metal key instead of a card key has its own charm.

    A long-established Hotel offers a truly relaxing atmosphere.

    My daughter and I stayed here together. The Room had two bathrooms and was very spacious, so we could relax comfortably. Kenrokuen Garden and other sightseeing spots were within walking distance, making it a very convenient location.

    A trip for two with my sister

    It was my sister’s second stay, and my first time at this Hotel. The view from the Room wasn’t great, but the view from the breakfast venue was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious, and I ended up eating several times more than usual. The Room’s bathroom and toilet felt a bit old, but the price was very reasonable, and I’d like to stay again. Next time I’ll bring my friends!

    It’s a long-established Hotel. I personally like it.

    The Facility itself is old, which can’t really be helped. However, the staff at the front desk are pleasant and welcoming. I don’t dislike the dignified atmosphere. Using a physical key instead of an auto-lock was a refreshing change. I was also satisfied with the clean, simple, slightly dark Room. One more thing—the pillow suited me perfectly. I often visit Kanazawa for both business and leisure. I will stay again. It’s a wonderful Hotel filled with many memories.

    The guest stayed at the accommodation and expressed gratitude for a very comfortable stay at an affordable price. Although they were from overseas, they appreciated the kind service provided by the front desk staff. Thank you very much.

    Great location, but issues with air conditioning.

    The location is convenient, situated between the station and the Katamachi area. However, after returning to the Hotel following a dinner meeting and turning on the air conditioner, a loud "whooshing" noise echoed throughout the Room, making it difficult to sleep. The air conditioning seemed to be a centralized system rather than individual units for each Room. I attempted to request a Room change by calling the front desk three times after 11 PM, but no one answered, so I gave up and spent the night turning the air conditioner on and off. When I informed the front desk about this issue during checkout in the morning, they apologized and said they would inspect it. While this may come down to personal preference, I decided that in future stays, I will avoid older Hotels even if they are inexpensive.

    This was my first stay at the accommodation.

    It was once a traditional hotel but has since been transformed into a business hotel. The lounge, exclusive to guests, only offered drinks, and as foreign visitors were enjoying themselves, I had a glass of wine and left shortly after. Being from Kanazawa, I rarely stay at accommodations in the area, but I have often used the restaurants in various hotels. The breakfast selection was not extensive, but they had my favorite old-fashioned firm custard pudding, which brought back fond memories. I would love to stay again if given the chance. Thank you very much!

    Kanazawa Cherry Blossom Trip

    The Room was upgraded from a single to a double. However, the view from the 9th floor was disappointing as it only faced the neighboring building. Breakfast was served at the top-floor restaurant with a great view. Initially, it was lively with a group of foreign guests, but as they left, I could enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace. The staff were attentive and recommended a spacious table with a nice view. I had been looking forward to local Japanese dishes, but the variety was slightly limited. Nevertheless, everything tasted delicious.

    A classical long-established Hotel

    The historic atmosphere starting from the front desk, combined with the fact that Oyama Shrine is almost right in front, creates a calming effect. The mezzanine lounge has exclusive hours for guests with complimentary soft drinks, and the happy hour from 17:00 to 19:00 is particularly delightful as red and white wine are also available. The check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 11:00 were appreciated, especially on a snowy day.

    Kanazawa Sightseeing

    The location was excellent as a base for sightseeing in Kanazawa, and it was nice to be within walking distance of major tourist spots. The Room had some old parts, but the size was sufficient and it was good.
