    We truly enjoyed the...

    We truly enjoyed the delicious meals at both breakfast and dinner. The bath was also very comfortable. The ocean view from our Room and from the large public bath was especially beautiful and memorable. By chance, we were able to see fireworks, which delighted our granddaughter. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Relaxation

    This was my first stay, and it was a truly wonderful Accommodation. You take off your shoes at the entrance and can walk around barefoot inside; disposable slippers are available if needed. It felt open and relaxing. The Room was spacious, and the spectacular view from the Room was amazing. On top of that, we could see fireworks from the balcony, and both the buffet meals and the bath were excellent. I would love to stay again.

    This is an oceanfront accommodation.

    After taking off your shoes at the entrance, you go barefoot inside the Hotel (slippers and socks are available next to the front desk). I couldn’t help worrying that cleaning must be tough, but there was no dirt anywhere and the interior was kept very clean. As soon as you step into your Room, an oceanfront view fills your sight. That alone made me feel glad I chose this place. We chose a Plan with breakfast and dinner included. Dinner started with three simple dishes (not great) followed by a buffet. It seems you can also add a 90-minute all-you-can-drink option. The dinner and breakfast buffets had an average selection, but they also offered some local specialties, and you could really see the chef’s effort. We didn’t feel like going out to eat (the Hotel is on a main road, so family restaurants are within walking distance, and there seem to be several options if you drive), so we ate at the restaurant here—and it was more than satisfying. We thoroughly enjoyed Beppu’s waters in the large Onsen bath. The changing area displays that day’s sunrise and sunset times, so it looks like you could enjoy Beppu Bay’s magnificent sunrise or sunset while soaking in the Onsen. Everyone at the restaurant and front desk greeted us politely as well, which left a great impression. Thank you very much.

    When it comes to Beppu, I always end up choosing this place.

    This is my fourth stay, and it’s a Hotel that’s conveniently located, with a compact layout that makes it easy and comfortable to stay. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant are friendly and leave a very positive impression. However, although I understand it may be difficult given the current circumstances, I feel the quality of the food has declined significantly compared to before. One of the reasons I chose this place again without hesitation was how delicious the kabosu flounder sashimi was. This time, however, it was completely different. The quality of the other sashimi also seemed much lower than before. Breakfast was enjoyable.

    Very satisfied.

    On this trip, we made a Reservation for three twin Rooms for three groups: my son and his wife with their infant, another family, and my third son. The in-room bath was a little small, but it was separate from the toilet, which made it easy to bathe our infant safely in the Room. The view of the sea in Beppu from the Room was also very beautiful. The Onsen was not too hot and felt great. The shower had a ReFa shower head. There was a wide variety of food, and my younger son and daughters-in-law were very satisfied. The staff kindly spoke to my eldest son’s child (who is still only two) and even lent us some toys. They also lent my other daughter-in-law, who was holding an infant, a basket-like baby bed so the baby could lie down, which made her very happy. Thank you to the lounge staff. I was also surprised that guests go barefoot throughout the Hotel—there were no slippers at all. It was very relaxing, and even our toddler felt safe walking around as if we were at home. We were extremely satisfied and would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.

    Friendly, easygoing service just right for you.

    We decided on a last-minute trip to Beppu and made a Reservation. I wanted to stay in Myoban Onsen, but it was fully booked (sad). I chose this place because it has an ocean-view Onsen. It was also a quick taxi ride from the station. Maybe because I’ve mostly stayed at foreign-owned hotels, I was impressed by how natural and pleasant the male staff member at the front desk was. It felt closer to the service style of certain domestic chain hotels (without the overly formal “extra” service). I felt the same about the dinner service staff. Some of the staff seemed like local gentlemen, which surprised me, but they were hardworking and kind. Unfortunately, although I’m not perfect either, I didn’t feel comfortable with some of the other guests. What shocked me most was seeing a Japanese guest with tattoos walking around the changing area without covering them at all. Their attitude felt intimidating. (I can understand if they are overseas guests. Personally, I don’t mind tattoos, but I would appreciate a bit more consideration.) It’s such a nice Hotel, so it’s disappointing when other guests affect the experience. The room cleaning was very good overall, but if I may mention one request: when sitting down and looking closely at the sink basin, I felt that around the drain fitting looked slightly unclean. (I assume housekeeping may not notice since they likely don’t have time to sit down.) Personally, since there is only one dining venue, it may feel limited if you’re used to typical hotels; however, it should be more than enough for families. The live kitchen staff were friendly and everything tasted great. Dishes were replenished quickly, and we could enjoy local items—at this price point it felt unbelievable. Overall I had a good impression, which is why it felt like such a missed opportunity. When I stayed there weren’t many overseas guests either. It might be even better if prices were higher so that guests are generally calmer. Even though we couldn’t get into Myoban Onsen as planned, in the end we were satisfied here. Thank you for accommodating our last-minute stay.

    It was excellent.

    I was extremely satisfied with this class of Hotel. Being able to take off our shoes and walk around the property was very comfortable and suited Japanese guests well. The staff service and the view from the open-air bath were also excellent. In particular, it was great that we could quickly check how crowded it was via the Hotel’s VOD. I would like to visit again.

    I think this Hotel offers the best value for money.

    I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they kindly showed me to my Room, and as soon as I entered, I was moved by the view of Beppu Bay. The infinity bath was also a luxury—soaking in the Onsen while gazing out at the sea. The water temperature was perfect: neither too hot nor too lukewarm. I enjoyed three baths with an ocean view—after arrival, a little while after dinner, and again the next morning. I truly enjoyed the Onsen to the fullest. For dinner, I chose a Plan that included Oita Wagyu beef, kabosu flounder, and bluefin tuna. The course meal alone would have been more than enough, but we could also enjoy the buffet, which made us very satisfied. Breakfast also offered many local dishes, and I really enjoyed it. Everyone—the front desk staff, dining floor staff, and parking staff—was full of hospitality, and I’m grateful for how comfortable they made our stay. I think this is a truly wonderful Hotel that offers more than its price suggests. My husband and I agreed we’d like to come again—and we hope to return next year… or even within this year if possible.

    My parents stayed and were very satisfied.

    Last autumn, I made an accommodation reservation for my parents who were planning to visit Beppu. They returned home extremely satisfied, praising the room with a panoramic view of Beppu Bay, the large public bath, the excellent onsen, and the delightful breakfast buffet. In the evening, they visited a sushi restaurant recommended by the hotel staff and thoroughly enjoyed it. They also expressed their gratitude for the courteous service provided by the staff.

    Hotel to Fully Enjoy Beppu

    The calm Beppu sea view from the room and the open-air bath in the large public Onsen was very soothing. Especially soaking in the morning Onsen while watching the sunrise was truly amazing. The meals were abundant, starting with sea bream shabu-shabu, followed by local dishes, sushi, steak, crab, noodles, and desserts. With no time restrictions, we could enjoy everything at our own pace. It was a beautiful Hotel to fully enjoy Beppu Onsen. Thank you very much!

    Beppu Onsen with a Stunning Ocean View

    Everything was amazing. First, the room and lobby were stylish, spacious, clean, and very convenient to use. The view of the horizon from the balcony was breathtaking. The Onsen had a large open-air bath where I could soak while enjoying the ocean view, listening to the sound of waves, and watching the ever-changing sky—a truly luxurious experience. All staff members were incredibly kind and provided excellent service. The meals were a combination of kaiseki cuisine and buffet! The buffet featured many delicious local dishes—so many that it would take at least two nights to try them all. Every dish was prepared with care and tasted wonderful; I would love to plan a Multiple Night Stay next time. It became a wonderful memory for me. Thank you very much!

    I am a repeat visitor to Beppu.

    The price is very reasonable, and the convenience keeps me coming back. The meals are always highly satisfying. The kabosu flounder sashimi was exceptionally delicious. The snow crab at the buffet is great when it's in season, but it might not be necessary during summer. You can feel the effort put into everything, making it a satisfying Hotel experience.

    Great value for an exceptional stay!

    I made a reservation the day before for a one-night stay from Sunday to Monday. Without much time to research and not expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised by the kind and attentive guidance from the parking lot staff and the excellent service at the front desk. The entire facility, including the room, large bath, and restaurant, was clean and comfortable to use. Although I only had breakfast, it was delicious with a great variety of options. Absolutely worth more than its price—completely satisfied! Definitely coming back!

    The open-air bath with a view was absolutely amazing. The ocean is right in front, and I could even see the sunrise. The Room also had an ocean view, and there was a lounge chair, so I could enjoy watching the sea from the balcony. If I may say, having a sauna would make it even more perfect. The parking lot is spacious and flat, accommodating any type of car. There are also dining areas nearby, making it a convenient location.

    Upon entering the accommodation, guests are required to remove their shoes immediately. The removed shoes can be stored in a personal, lockable shoe cabinet. Inside the facility, guests can walk barefoot or in socks, but slippers (including children's sizes) are available for use if needed. We stayed in a Family Room with my daughter's family of three and a Standard Room for my spouse and me. The assigned Family Room was a corner room facing Oita, offering beautiful views of the Beppu Tower illuminated in blue light. This view was also visible from the men's large public bath. From the room's front-facing view, you could see the ocean with occasional passing ships and enjoy Oita's nightscape as well as stunning sunrises. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and amenities were sufficient (bath towels provided but no foaming body towels). Complimentary bottled water, coffee, tea, a small refrigerator, a large TV, and even a bench on the balcony for two were available. On the 8th floor is an infinity-style large public bath designed along the oceanfront with long bathtubs perfect for enjoying sea views. However, as sauna enthusiasts ourselves, we found its absence slightly disappointing. That said, both bath towels and thin hand towels were provided at the bath area so there was no need to bring them from your room. Skincare products by Sekkisei were also available. For dinner plans offered at this accommodation: we had options like beef shabu-shabu sets including sashimi or sesame tofu dishes alongside buffet-style selections (excluding alcoholic beverages). While we rated it three stars due to some frozen items not meeting our taste preferences (though fish dishes stood out), our daughter’s family enjoyed exploring its wide variety of offerings thoroughly! Breakfast during our stay featured delicacies such as salmon roe & eel which lifted spirits higher compared against dinner experiences; air-conditioning felt chilly initially yet staff promptly brought lap blankets upon noticing discomfort while efficiently clearing plates afterward too! Every member among staff greeted warmly wearing constant smiles ensuring pleasant stays overall—thankful gratitude goes towards their exceptional hospitality!

    Great value for money

    The ocean view from the Room and bath was absolutely stunning! The large public bath provides towels, so you can go empty-handed, which is a thoughtful touch. I haven't stayed at other Hotels in Beppu, but compared to Hotels in the same price range across the whole country, this one is definitely top-notch! Most of the guests were Japanese, and the atmosphere was pleasant. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that it's a bit far from the station for those coming by train... You can get detailed bus schedules at the tourist information center at the station!!

    Repeat booking guaranteed.

    Thank you for your hospitality again following our visit in February. Our family visits Beppu Onsen about twice a year. We have stayed at accommodations with private indoor and open-air baths, but this place is not only reasonably priced, the Royal Room is spacious, and the ocean view right in front of us was stunning and soothing. The cleanliness was impeccable. On sunny days, it’s so quiet that you can hear the sound of waves when you open the window. The meals served in private rooms for both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying, and the hospitality from all staff throughout the facility was excellent. We look forward to staying here again next time!

    Available during Golden Week

    I chose this Hotel based on my son's recommendation, and it was indeed a great experience. The Room was clean, the bath was more spacious than expected, and the view of Beppu Bay from the open-air bath was stunning. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, all delicious, and I went back for seconds multiple times. I also liked that we could walk around inside without slippers. Since I couldn't make a Reservation for dinner at the Hotel, I booked elsewhere but had trouble finding a taxi to get there. The front desk staff quickly made a call for me, and I was able to get into a taxi in no time. It was truly helpful—thank you very much!

    This was my fourth stay.

    This was our fourth stay with my daughter and grandchild. The parking staff upon arrival were very kind, and all the staff showed exceptional attentiveness. The Room was clean, the open-air bath was fantastic, and the meals in both the morning and evening were absolutely delicious. We look forward to staying again for my grandchild's birthday next year.

    Private Beach

    We recently stayed with the 5th and 6th Floor Guaranteed Plan as a couple. The view was great, and we enjoyed walking on the sandy beach in front of the hotel with rental sandals and relaxing on the balcony loungers. It was very refreshing. The bath made us feel like we were soaking in the sea, which was delightful. For meals, breakfast included a variety of options such as salmon roe, eel omelets with mentaiko sauce, and more. Dinner featured abalone from the set menu and buffet items like tender steak. Although the crab legs were thin, the overall selection for a buffet was just right. The comfort of being shoeless inside and interactions with friendly staff at reception and parking made our stay very pleasant.

    Room, Meal

    The Hotel was easy to find, the Room was spacious, and the food was delicious, making everything satisfactory. The amenities differed between in-room and the large public bath, which was great. I was pleased that the shampoo and conditioner in the large public bath were my favorites. The staff's attentiveness at the dining area was excellent. I would like to stay again.

    Sophisticated atmosphere

    The ocean view room and Onsen are wonderful. Beppu is a historic Onsen area, but the overall refined and smart atmosphere with no unnecessary elements was very nice.

    It was good.

    I think the exterior of the hotel is very beautiful. The view outside was also ocean view and I was very satisfied. Perhaps because it is new, the inside of the hotel was also clean and I was very satisfied. However, unfortunately, the air conditioning in the elevator was not working, and it was hot. I am satisfied. It became a good memory.
