Fairfield by Marriott Gifu Seiryu Satoyama Park

I had a memorial service in Inazawa City, Aichi Prefecture, and I usually book a Hotel in Nagoya, but this time I decided to look in Gifu and found this place. A (new) Hotel located inside a park. The front desk area and the Room were clean and functional. There’s no bathtub in the Room—only a shower—but there’s a public bath nearby, and guests can use it for 500 yen with the accommodation discount, so it didn’t bother me at all. Drink prices at the shop are reasonable too. There were no negative points at all, but if I had to mention one thing, it might have been nice to have a chair in the guest room (maybe I should have requested one). I was traveling with someone (this time my son in his 20s), and we ended up sitting side by side on the sofa, but the space between the sofa and the bed was narrow and a bit awkward to use—that’s about it. Recommended for young couples or families with children, including for its location.

We stayed as a group of three, including our 2-year-old and 4-year-old children, to visit Gifu Seiryu Satoyama Park the next day. We debated between a twin or double room but chose the double since it was just the three of us. The large bed made the kids very happy. The room was simple but had a sofa, which was perfect for the kids to sit and enjoy their breakfast.A few points to note: If your child is out of diapers, you can use Satoyama no Yu nearby at a discounted rate. However, since our youngest couldn't use it yet, we used the shower in our room instead. The water temperature felt slightly low—around 40°C even at maximum—which might be challenging during colder seasons. While we were aware that only showers were available beforehand, this could make winter visits less appealing.As mentioned in other reviews, arriving at night made finding the parking lot difficult due to poor lighting. There is a dedicated parking area for accommodation guests right behind the hotel; however, because it's part of a larger park with extensive parking surrounding the hotel, it took us some time to figure out where to park.Lastly, there was a food truck available for dinner during our stay—advance notice about such options would have been appreciated! That said, we found our room comfortable and staff very kind. We enjoyed both our stay and time at the park and would love to visit again!
