    Enjoy a Wonderful Time in Shizuoka

    I chose a Hotel with a large public bath to welcome someone special. Its convenient location near the station was great. I expected to pay for parking, but the next day, I stayed at another Hotel where parking was free, which made this aspect less favorable in comparison. The Room and bath were nice, but I was disappointed that the sauna was a mist sauna. Breakfast involved choosing a main bread and three side dishes, but it was limited to Western-style options with bread only, which felt restrictive. While it tasted good overall, I still find buffet-style breakfasts more appealing for their variety. Overall, it was a good experience; however, since the place I stayed at the next day exceeded expectations significantly, it inevitably became a point of comparison and led me to evaluate this stay more critically.

    Relaxing Large Public Bath

    The new hotel was clean. The bed was wide and comfortable, but the bathroom was extremely small, especially the toilet, which felt as cramped as one on an airplane—something my husband found quite frustrating. The public bath on the top floor was a highlight; we were lucky to have it all to ourselves during our two-night stay, making for a very relaxing experience. The complimentary ice pops were a delightful touch. Breakfast allowed us to choose one sandwich and three deli items, with free soup, curry, and drinks. On the first day, I chose a baguette sandwich which turned out to be quite tasty. The location is excellent as it’s very close to the station.

    Those who prioritize the bath may be disappointed.

    The bath and breakfast were my deciding factors, but the bath was not as spacious as shown in the photos. The outdoor bath fits one person, and the indoor bath fits three; any more than that feels very cramped. The layout of the washing area and poor drainage make it difficult to walk comfortably. As for breakfast, I thought the bread in the photos looked delicious, but it was completely different. The flow of movement is poorly designed, so even with just one person ahead of you, there’s a wait. If you don’t prioritize the bath or breakfast and consider it as a No Meals Included Business Hotel stay, while the room lighting is dim, it’s clean—and most importantly—the biggest advantage is its proximity to the station. If being close to the station is your priority, this hotel will be highly satisfying!

    I chose this Hotel b...

    I chose this Hotel because it has a flat parking lot underneath. Overall, it gives the impression of a clean and standard Business Hotel. The view from the Room was open without being blocked by nearby buildings, and I could see all the way to Shizuoka Station, which made it feel spacious. It is conveniently located for easy access to the bustling area on the north side of the station.

    It was a very comfortable stay at the Hotel.

    Both check-in and check-out were explained thoroughly and politely. The open-air bath was clean, and I used it twice during my stay. I could see Mount Fuji in the evening from the window. The Room had an air purifier, but you can also slightly open the window to let in fresh air. Breakfast was served at the restaurant, but there was also a takeaway option. The morning curry was delicious. After checking out, I wanted to do some sightseeing, so I appreciated being able to leave my luggage with them. The location is very convenient as it is close to the station and surrounded by many dining options, making it comfortable and easy to use. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

    Clean, but the bathroom...

    I have used this Hotel several times for business trips. I like how it is cleaner compared to other hotels in the area. However, I am disappointed with the bathroom; music is playing, but the sound quality is poor, and the volume is too loud to relax. As the price has been increasing, I am considering looking elsewhere.

    It was a very good Hotel.

    A very nice Hotel, and I am satisfied. The Room and Facility were clean, and everything necessary was well-prepared. The public bath was also clean, and it was great to check the crowd status on the panel in the Room. I appreciated being able to enjoy drinks from the drink bar on the first floor in my Room at my own pace. Breakfast was easy to choose and delicious. There was plenty of food, leaving us full. While we could take it back to our Room, we chose to enjoy it in the lounge instead, which was quiet and relaxing. The 11 a.m. checkout allowed us to take our time comfortably as well. Additionally, being able to select BGM through a panel added enjoyment for music lovers like me. I would love to stay here again when visiting Shizuoka! Thank you very much!

    Close to the station, new, clean

    The Room is clean and new. It is close to the station with excellent access to restaurants. The bath is so-so. The Facility is good. The breakfast was surprisingly modern.

    It was comfortable.

    The entire accommodation was clean and comfortable. The bath on the top floor includes a small open-air bath. This accommodation redefined the concept of traditional business hotels.

    What a pity...

    The parking staff and front desk staff were very courteous, which raised my expectations. However, there were three strands of hair on the floor of the unit bath in the Room. Upon entering the Room, I had to start by removing those hairs. Finding three long strands of hair is unacceptable, and even though the building is new, it raises doubts about whether cleaning is done properly. Checking for hair on the floor of the unit bath should be a basic standard. It’s truly disappointing because the parking and front desk staff were so pleasant.

    Good value for money

    From the spacious Room, we could see Mt. Fuji and the station. As it is a Business Hotel, we do not expect that much comfort, but I feel that the Room was of good quality for the price. The observation bath is always uncrowded and easy to enter, which is nice. The staff are reliable and provide pleasant service, which left a very good impression.

    It is said that there are few taxis in Shizuoka.

    The restaurant for dinner was located 7 minutes by car and 15 minutes on foot from the hotel, so I thought of taking a taxi from the hotel. However, due to a shortage of drivers in Shizuoka, there are few taxis available, and they don't come easily. I was told it would be faster to catch one from the taxi stand at Shizuoka Station. Since it was a somewhat awkward distance, I ended up walking to the dinner restaurant. For the elderly or those who find walking difficult, it would be better to reserve a taxi in advance. The hotel is an ordinary business hotel with a large public bath. In the morning, I could see a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.

    The amenities are well-equipped.

    I used it for the first time. It is conveniently located near Shizuoka Station. I was warmly welcomed with a smile at check-in. There is a large public bath on the top floor, and I could see Mt. Fuji through the lattice from the open-air bath. The bath amenities are well-stocked, which I think will be appreciated by women. The fact that the shower head and hairdryer are from ReFa is a high point. The breakfast system was unusual, but I thought it was a good idea. The taste was also good. It would be even better if milk or fresh juice were available, even if the number of small dishes was reduced. Also, it would be nice if the pajamas were made of fabric with less static electricity. I had a very comfortable stay and would like to repeat my visit.

    Stays in Shizuoka are recommended!

    I stayed the night before attending a live event. The location is great, just a short walk to the station. The front desk service was excellent, and the cleanliness made for a very pleasant stay. The amenities were well-stocked, and I appreciated the round cotton set, which showed a sense of style. What surprised me the most was the breakfast. I took it out to enjoy in my Room, and I could freely choose from sandwiches and cup dishes, which felt like a meal from a stylish cafe, and it was delicious and perfect. After checking out at 11 am, I headed to Shizuoka Station, but there were no available coin lockers, so I asked the Hotel to hold my luggage, and they kindly agreed, saying it was okay to pick it up anytime that day, which was really helpful! I'm really glad I chose this Hotel. I will definitely use it again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    I will definitely visit again!

    I stayed for one night near the station for a business trip to Shizuoka. First of all, the check-in guidance was polite and with a smile, which made me feel very good. The room was as expected, but the TV was larger than I thought, which left a good impression. The bed and pillows were satisfactory. A humidifier was also provided. Perhaps because I often use business hotels around Tokyo, I often have complaints about the refrigerator, such as having to turn it on myself after entering the room or the temperature not dropping much. However, when I entered the room, it was already well-cooled, and I could drink the complimentary mineral water in a nicely chilled state. The room lighting seemed a bit dim, but it was covered by turning on the desk lamp. The desk lamp has three brightness levels, so it's important not to give up if it seems dim when you turn it on (laughs). Although there are time restrictions, it was nice to have free drinks available on the 1st floor. You can check the congestion status of the large public bath on the room's TV, so when I confirmed it was "not crowded" and headed there, it was surprisingly empty. It seems that going early worked in my favor. The washing area had a spacious area for one person, allowing for a very relaxed use. Due to the spaciousness, when using the shower attached to the wall, I had to lean forward a bit to properly shower my head. The dressing room felt a bit cramped, but the lockers were spacious, which was a plus. There was also an ice cream service after the bath, which was very satisfying. The breakfast was satisfying in terms of variety and volume for the price, allowing me to start my workday with a full engine. I will likely have another opportunity to visit Shizuoka, and I would like to repeat my stay.

    Very clean and very satisfying.

    Would it be categorized as a Business Hotel? But it was really clean and I was very satisfied. The amenities are plentiful, and the reception staff are very kind. There are also free drinks in the lobby, which is a nice service. The large public bath is also clean and comfortable. Thank you very much!

    At least delicious bread

    The food is not delicious. If a buffet or set meal is not possible, at least I would like some delicious bread. Although it is a new Hotel, the Room is long horizontally, so compared to the size of the Room, the space from the entrance to the water area is narrow. The bathtub is also small. On the other hand, there is wasted space at the back of the Room. The Room lighting is poor, and the last remaining light at bedtime is right above the eyes, making it difficult to sleep well due to eye strain. If you turn off all the lights in the bed area, the light near the door also goes out, making it completely dark. Disposable slippers and mineral water are provided, but there are no tea bags. It is surprising that there is no morning call Facility.

    Insufficient lighting.

    A new hotel opened in 2020. Indeed, it's good that there are no steps in the bathroom and toilet space. However, the lighting is completely insufficient. The corridor from the elevator to the room is pitch dark. The room is also dark. When sleeping, if you turn off the light, it's completely dark. If you leave a little on, the light directly above your eyes remains, which is extremely tiring. The food is not tasty. If a buffet or set meal is difficult, I would have at least liked some delicious bread to be prepared.

    Good value for money.

    The Room was more spacious and clean than expected. The spa was equipped with a ReFa shower head and a Dyson hair dryer, making my hair shiny. The mist sauna was pleasant, and both the indoor and outdoor baths were comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a relaxing bath for the first time in a while. I am very satisfied with this service at this price. I was also impressed by the view of Mt. Fuji from the Room.

    Hotel with high customer satisfaction

    The hotel is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Shizuoka Station, with the station building and department stores nearby. There is another business hotel with natural hot springs in the city, but since it is far from the station, I always choose to stay here. There is an exclusive lounge and a large bath (spa) for guests, allowing me to always relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. However, I am not impressed with the dim lighting in the elevator hall, corridors, and guest rooms on the guest room floors. I have stayed at several city hotels and business hotels in Shizuoka City, and this is undoubtedly No.1.
