    Sufficient for business trips or small-group travel.

    About a 5-minute walk from Sannomiya Station. The walk through the lively downtown area went by in no time. With plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, the location is excellent. The front lobby has tiered bench-style seating where you can sit and wait. There is also a lounge close by. The rooms are compact but very functional. The square desk and sofa are especially convenient for getting work done. There’s no bathtub, but the shower booth is clean and more than sufficient for business trips or travel for two.

    Street noise from the downtown area can be heard clearly.

    The building was new and very clean, and the bathroom had both a bathtub and a separate washing area with plenty of space. However, despite facing a busy downtown street, the windows were not double-glazed, so street noise came through clearly; it was disappointing to have to wear earplugs. Even more disappointing was the attitude of the female staff at the attached café. Guests can drink coffee and tea for free, but when I told her that the coffee machine showed an error and would not dispense coffee, she sighed as if it were a hassle before coming out from behind the counter. The female staff member serving free ice cream at night also had a poor attitude, which confused other guests as well. In addition, Hotel staff wore casual clothes such as T-shirts, making it hard to tell who was staff.

    A great-value Hotel

    I stayed here on a business trip. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were courteous, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The Room was clean and well maintained, and I had a pleasant stay. The location was convenient with easy access to nearby areas, which was very helpful. The property was quiet, and I was able to rest well. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

    Stay with our “Non-Smoking” Room Type Assigned Plan!

    I stayed here last year and loved it, so I chose to stay again this time as well. With its great location, reasonable prices, and kind staff, it’s one of my favorite Hotels in Kobe. However, this time I made a Reservation under the “lottery-style” Plan: “[Non-smoking] Room type assigned on arrival,” and unfortunately I was given the smallest Room on the non-mountain side (shower only, and the bathroom lock was broken and wouldn’t latch). It was also noisy outside until after 11 p.m., which was very disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high that an assigned-on-arrival Plan might get me a better Room (lol). Still, in that case I’d rather choose the Room I want and make a Reservation myself. Also, this Plan cost more than the cheapest Room option, so it honestly felt like a loss. I don’t think I’ll book this Plan again. I still really like the Hotel overall and will likely stay again, but I don’t quite understand the point of this assigned-on-arrival Plan. Was this just an unlucky draw this time? (lol)

    Overall, I was very satisfied. I had a great experience at another Hotel in the same chain in a different area before, so I chose this one again without hesitation. It was conveniently located near the station, the services were well provided, and the Room was clean and comfortable. I also appreciated the smooth automated check-in and check-out with no waiting time. The staff were pleasantly friendly and left a great impression.

    Great value for money & an unbeatable location

    I’ve stayed in various places when visiting Kobe, and in terms of location and value for money, this is among the best. Even though check-in is automated, there were a few issues—like the front staff not making eye contact, or hair stuck to the bathtub—but overall it was a relatively new building and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with excellent water pressure, and although it faces a main road, I didn’t notice any noise at all. The surrounding Rooms and hallway were also very quiet. While more Hotels these days provide paper towels at the sink, they had thick, clean towels available. On top of that, it’s affordable and convenient—more than good enough as a base. I’d definitely like to stay again. This time I really only slept at the Hotel and didn’t use the lounge, so I will next time for sure. I also heard you can get water and a bathroom chair by asking at the front desk, so I’ll be sure to do that next time as well.

    First Time in Kobe

    I chose your Hotel because I wanted to make a Reservation for a hotel with a bathing area. It was great that even elderly people could enjoy the bath at their own pace. The ice cream in the lounge was also delicious. I had a wonderful time on my first visit to Kobe. Thank you very much.

    Expensive, poor service, and terrible.

    I stayed for one night with breakfast included but no dinner, paying 40,000 yen per person, and it was terrible. The room had no bathtub, only a shower, and despite costing 40,000 yen, there was no dinner included. The room was too small for the price of 40,000 yen. Breakfast was cheap—just overdressed or undressed salad with bread and yogurt. No protein at all. The bed was made by pushing two single beds together to make a double bed. Are the bedsheets even changed properly? When I lifted the duvet, I found someone else's hair on it. The staff were unprofessional with dyed brown hair and poor service attitude. At checkout, they didn’t say a word to us and ignored us completely. This experience was unacceptable and unforgivable. Refund my money—I will never stay here again!

    Perfectly located hotel for food and drink hopping!

    The Royal Park Canvas Kobe Sannomiya Located in the heart of Sannomiya's bustling district, facing Ikuta Shindo, this hotel boasts an excellent location with the city subway, Hankyu line, and JR station all within a 5-minute walk. Opened during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is relatively new and exceptionally clean. Nearby amenities include Don Quijote right in front and convenience stores close by, making it a perfect location. Ikuta Shindo, Higashimon Street, Hankyu Ekizo, and Sankita Street are all nearby with plenty of restaurants ideal for food tours or bar hopping. The room I stayed in was 21 square meters with separate bath and toilet facilities—compact yet highly satisfying! While the table was small and the bathtub not particularly spacious, there were no major complaints. Complimentary café services are available along with desserts from 8 PM to 10 PM. The amenities provided were also satisfactory without any issues. Overall, this accommodation offered a very high level of satisfaction! It’s definitely a place I’d like to stay at again! Thank you for your hospitality!

    The compact room and...

    The compact room and amenities were satisfactory. However, I noticed the room was quite dry even with the air conditioning turned off. It might have been better during a hotter season.

    Separate bath and toilet for your convenience.

    【Pros】 - Used a Twin Room for one person, providing ample space. - Separate bath and toilet; spacious bathtub. - YouTube available on the TV. - Received a face mask and water at reception. - Toothbrush set foamed well and was comfortable to use. - 1st-floor lounge: Enjoy Lakshmi honey tea, with ice cream service available at certain times. 【Cons】 - Staff interaction during check-in and check-out felt slightly impersonal, minimal but modern in style. - Many foreign tourists; some displayed poor manners, with no visible efforts for etiquette guidance tailored to them. - Located on a main street with Don Quijote nearby, making it noisy late at night (might not be an issue on higher floors). - No mirrors in the room except for the full-length mirror; slightly inconvenient unless using the sink area for hair drying or makeup application. - The TV power button was unresponsive at times, taking longer to switch ON/OFF. It was a good Hotel overall. If I don’t have time to carefully choose accommodations next time, I would definitely stay here again!

    Stayed here for an event in Kobe.

    Overall, I was satisfied. The only downside was the smell in the Room during check-in. There was a strong garlic odor, so I requested a Room change → However, the new Room also had a lingering strong perfume smell. I believe ventilation might be an issue as the windows cannot be opened for safety reasons. The front desk staff kindly offered an air purifier and deodorizing measures, which improved the smell significantly. Aside from the odor issue, as expected of Royal Park Hotel, their service was excellent. The staff were polite and always added kind words that showed their thoughtfulness. The linens in the Room were soft to touch, and I loved how comfortable the bed was to sleep on. Having separate bath and toilet facilities is rare at this price point! Perhaps because it’s a new Hotel, its design felt fresh and stylish!

    Simple

    From Kobe Airport, take the Port Liner to Sannomiya Station. The route from Sannomiya Station on the Port Liner to the Hotel can be a bit confusing and requires quite a bit of walking; it is far. The variety of breakfast side dishes is the smallest I have experienced compared to other hotels I have stayed at, and there are only three types of drinks and tea leaves available. It would be nice if Darjeeling tea was provided instead of just honey tea.

    I had a comfortable stay in a lovely Room.

    This was my first stay at this accommodation, which I had been curious about for a while. The location is excellent, within a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Sannomiya Station, making it convenient to go anywhere in Sannomiya. The hotel room had a large desk suitable for work, allowing me to work comfortably in the room. The lounge on the first floor offers various drink services and even a "closing ice cream" service at night, providing an experience different from ordinary business hotels. Although I don't often have opportunities to visit Sannomiya, I would like to stay here again if given the chance.

    Stylish and functional

    The room only had a shower. Since there were many foreign guests, I thought it was understandable, but I also wished for a bathtub as I was tired. The room was stylish and functional—the spacious desk and bright lighting made it very conducive to work. The free drinks at the café downstairs were a nice touch. Although I didn’t have time to include meals, the breakfast looked delicious. I would like to stay here again.

    The facility was good, but...

    The location of the Room and the timing on a Friday night might have been factors. Due to its proximity to the entertainment district, loud noises from intoxicated individuals could be heard from late at night until early morning, making it difficult to sleep. The noise level was beyond what earplugs could handle. I believe it would have been better if I had requested a Room change. It would also have been helpful if the potential for noise had been explained in advance. The nighttime ice cream service was enjoyable, and while compact, the Room's Facility was comfortable.

    The Hotel itself is adequate.

    Stayed on Sunday and checked out on Monday. The access from Sannomiya Subway Station was convenient, and the room size was comfortable. However, since the room faced the street, outside noise was quite noticeable. During late night to early morning hours before the first train, there were many young people talking loudly on the road outside, which made it difficult to sleep deeply. Depending on the floor or location of your room, this might vary. For those sensitive to noise, it may be a good idea to confirm with the hotel in advance whether your room faces the street or not. Given its great location and thoughtfully designed rooms, enhancing soundproofing (though replacing windows might be challenging) could make for an even more comfortable stay.

    I want to visit again!

    I stayed at the accommodation during Golden Week to visit a specific location, and it was extremely convenient. I was worried that the lounge might be too crowded to use during Golden Week, but I was able to enjoy it without any issues. The complimentary ice cream service was fantastic! I accidentally left something behind when checking out, but when I inquired about it, they had kept it safe and even mailed it back to me. I stayed for two nights with breakfast included. There are both nice restaurants for couples and family-friendly chain restaurants nearby. Additionally, you can enjoy light meals in the hotel's lounge for an extra fee, so there’s no need to worry about dining options. I chose this hotel based on its location, but my stay exceeded expectations!

    The nighttime dessert was excellent.

    The hotel is clean. It is 2 minutes from the station, and they kindly stored my luggage. All the staff were polite, making my stay very pleasant. The dessert time starting at 8 PM was wonderful! Everyone seemed to be enjoying a relaxing time. I had a very comfortable stay, and I would love to use this hotel again when I visit Kobe.

    Great location

    We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The Room was convenient with separate bath and toilet, and it was very clean. Thank you for accommodating our requests in advance, such as attaching two beds together for our small child and preparing extra towels for the child. The surrounding area had restaurants and drugstores, so we had no trouble shopping. It’s just a few minutes from the station, located on a main street where taxis are easy to catch, making access very convenient. We used the lounge at night and enjoyed the ice cream service. It wasn’t just a small portion but quite generous, which made us happy. We would love to stay here again during our next trip to Kobe!

    Highly recommended Hotel.

    As a Business Hotel, while the Facility and amenities may not match those of high-class hotels and only breakfast was utilized, the relatively new condition made it comfortable. The staff, though busy, were friendly and courteous, providing excellent service. I appreciated being upgraded from a Superior Room to a Deluxe Room. I would like to stay here again if given the opportunity.

    We had a comfortable stay as a family.

    A room with a separate toilet and shower, a two-person table, and delicious breakfast at a stylish café on the first floor—this hotel was perfect. I stayed with my elementary school daughter, and thanks to the two-person table, she was able to work on her Kumon homework we brought along. It's also close to the station, and I would love to stay here again when visiting Kobe.

    Overall, it was good.

    The lack of a humidifying air purifier, which is common in recent Business Hotels, caused severe dryness and left my throat parched. The breakfast selection was minimal, with an impression of stylishly plated pre-made dishes. If you're looking to feel the essence of Kobe through breakfast, this might not be the best choice. The limited Japanese menu might be due to it being part of the Royal Park chain? Room cleanliness and staff service were excellent. Check-in and check-out were smooth.

    The property is conveniently located near the nearest station. The building and rooms are clean, but the amenities seem limited. While bottled water is available upon request at the front desk, there was no explanation provided due to the self-check-in process.     Very good Hotel

    This was my first time staying in Kobe as an adult. I chose this accommodation based on reviews and because I have a favorite Royal Park Hotel in another area, so I had high expectations for the same chain. The result was perfect. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and very comfortable to stay in. I only regret that it was just a one-night stay. The services were also excellent, such as the late-night ice cream at the lounge and the drink bar available until 11:00 PM. If I had to mention one thing, it would be nice if there were more varieties of tea or coffee at the drink bar. With its convenient access from Sannomiya Station, I would love to stay here again if I have another chance to visit Kobe.

    Convenient location.

    The separate bath and toilet in the room were a deciding factor. The room was spacious enough and very comfortable. It is conveniently located for sightseeing and dining, which was very helpful. In the lounge, drinks like coffee and tea are always available, and you can take them to your room as well. Mini parfaits were served at night, which was a delightful touch. I will definitely make a Reservation again if I have the chance.

    Inadequate cleaning and poor management system

    1. The checked-in Room had a sink with sheets placed haphazardly, towels scattered around, and a bath mat draped over the toilet lid. *It appeared to be mid-cleaning, suggesting incomplete inspection.* 2. The second Room provided had cut hair scattered throughout the bathroom, presumably from the previous night's guest. *This was noticed during use the following morning.* The above issues are extremely unsanitary and raise concerns about management practices. While cleaning may be outsourced to contractors, this does not absolve responsibility as a service provider offering guest Rooms. Fundamental standards appear to be lacking. For the benefit of all past and future guests, improvements are strongly requested despite no direct blame being placed on individual staff members or detailed photographic evidence being included here (except for certain cases).

    It was very comfortable.

    I stayed at the Property to attend Frederic's live performance. The tea in the lounge was very delicious. I was a little concerned about passing through the downtown area from the station to the Hotel, but I was relieved that no one approached me at all.

    Stylish and more than worth the price Hotel!

    I chose this Hotel for its accessibility, the cleanliness of the Room, and the size of the bathtub, and it exceeded my expectations and the photos. There were many foreign tourists at breakfast, but I didn't have to wait. The breakfast was very delicious. I was also looking forward to the free ice cream at night, so I was glad I could have it. If I have another chance to visit Kobe, I would like to return.
