    We had a relaxing stay.

    I have stayed in the top-floor Refar Room several times. This time, you provided a corner Room and also allowed a late check-out. Thank you very much. Thanks to you, I was able to relax. In recent years, there have been more guests who do not understand Japanese culture, and I sometimes have unpleasant experiences, so I am looking for places to stay where that happens less often. I will stay again. Thank you in advance.

    High quality

    Located in an excellent spot at Kawaramachi Takoyakushi, it is an ideal base for sightseeing in Kyoto. The Room is spacious, and the layout with a vanity sink in the center is very convenient. With a sliding door separating the bedroom and utility area, we were able to sleep very quietly.

    4th or 5th stay

    Conveniently located near Kawaramachi Station, I always choose this place. The Room is clean and just the right size. I also appreciate the coffee in the lobby. However, the price increase over the past few years has been tough. As for the breakfast buffet, there were no tomatoes in the salad this time, and no bacon or sausages—perhaps due to rising food costs?

    A stylish Hotel near Gion and Kamo River

    I chose this Hotel because it was affordable, clean, and conveniently located near Gion, Kamo River, and Tako Yakushido. There is a convenience store nearby, and after check-in, you can go directly to your room floor from outside. The coffee service is available next to the front desk on the 2nd floor, and you can take it to your room. In front of the front desk, there is a wide selection of items such as combs, hair ties, toothbrushes, razors, and body towels. The Room was clean and comfortable; however, one downside was that my Room was located near the elevator. The sound of it going up and down continued throughout the night and disturbed my sleep. Other than that issue, the staff were polite and helpful. I will choose a different Room next time but will stay here again when visiting Tako Yakushido!

    The location is excellent.

    I chose this Hotel based on the Reviews. It was convenient as Gion, Yasaka Shrine, and Kawaramachi Station were within walking distance. The Room was compact but had a bathtub where I could stretch my legs and relax, which was nice. However, there were only bath towels and regular towels provided; having an additional hand towel would have been better. When I requested more towels at the front desk, they reluctantly delivered them to my Room. At breakfast time, the dining area was crowded with inbound guests, and I couldn't find a seat. I was told it would be less crowded in an hour but even after 1 hour 30 minutes it remained busy. Although Reviews mentioned that breakfast was good, it did not meet my expectations and left me disappointed. When leaving my suitcase before check-in early in the morning, a staff member kindly assisted me by suggesting nearby cafes after looking them up for me—this was very helpful! However, during check-in with another staff member later on, no information about amenities like self-service coffee locations was provided; I only discovered these when going for breakfast the next morning. It seemed like most of the guests were inbound travelers which made staying here feel slightly uncomfortable for me personally.

    It was conveniently located for sightseeing.

    Stayed in a twin room. The room, designed with a Japanese touch, is beautiful, and the circular layout of the washroom allows for efficient use. The washroom also served as a makeshift kitchen. The meals were not particularly distinctive, but the location was excellent, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. The sofa in front of the TV blocks the view from the bed, which was not very convenient. The quality of the drink service at the front desk was good, and we used it frequently.

    Thank you very much.

    We stayed for two nights in a Room away from the elevator, as per our request for a quiet stay. The location was excellent, and we appreciated the bottled water and the coffee machine at the front desk. We look forward to staying again.
