  Heating

  It was a bit cold, so I asked the front desk because the heater wasn’t working. They said the central heating was turned off throughout the building and lent me an electric space heater, but it felt a little early for that.

  I arrived early in t...

  I arrived early in the morning at Goryokaku Koen-mae bus stop on an overnight bus from Sapporo. The Hotel was nearby and kindly stored my luggage. I bought a one-day streetcar pass, went from Goryokaku Koen-mae Station to Hakodate Station, and visited the Hakodate Morning Market. After that, I explored the Red Brick Warehouses and the hillside streets until check-in at 3:00 PM. After checking in and taking a break, I also enjoyed the night view from the Hakodate Ropeway. The next day, I visited Goryokaku Park. The location and price of this Hotel were excellent.

  I arrived late, afte...

  I arrived late, after midnight, but the front desk staff were very courteous and kindly gave me detailed information about parking—thank you. The Room was small, but very clean. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. One thing I noticed was that when I entered, there was a strong scent, like heavy perfume.

  Thank you for hosting us for two days. The staff were very courteous and helpful. It was a bit disappointing that there was no mineral water available in the Facility, so we had to purchase it in town. The breakfast featuring local specialties was a nice touch.

  Feedback after Stays

  A new Hotel opened about 3 years ago, the rooms are clean, and the hair dryer, shampoo, and conditioner made my hair feel smooth. I stayed for 3 nights and was able to spend my time very quietly and comfortably.
