    Hmm.

    Charging for the gym is unacceptable. It should be free for guests. The windows did not block sound well, and I was bothered by noise from the road outside. These days, there wasn’t even any water in the room. Ideally two bottles, but at least one would be appreciated. The pillows were too high and uncomfortable to sleep on. Instead of two the same size, it would help if at least one were a lower pillow. Other than that, the service was good, so it’s disappointing.

    Breakfast

    The food was excellent and very enjoyable. However, we stayed for two nights and had breakfast twice, and the lack of preparation was noticeable. There were times when the miso soup ingredients were not available, or the miso soup machine was not working properly. There was also a sign for milk but no jug provided. In addition, seating guidance seemed inefficient. I understand that preparing early in the morning is challenging, but this is a service business involving guests. I would appreciate improvements.

    Unwind and recharge in the sauna.

    I often use this Hotel for day-use stays.\nTrue to its name, Spa Vintage, the Facility interiors are stylish and refined. The authentic sauna and cold plunge pool are also excellent, leaving both body and mind refreshed.\nI also love that they regularly offer löyly sessions.\nThe restaurant is highly recommended as well, with a superb location where you can enjoy Kobe’s night views.

    Sauna

    The sauna’s automatic löyly was excellent. The 8.6°C cold bath was amazing. The water pressure in the “out-of-body” jacuzzi was truly impressive. It was a top-class large public bath.

    I chose to stay here...

    I chose to stay here as I had an early morning flight from Kobe Airport around 7 AM. Since I arrived at the Hotel late at night for an early morning check-in, I had to walk quite a distance in the dark from the station. The public bath was nice. However, there were no glasses in the guest room, and there were not enough towels, which was disappointing. The price felt a bit high.

    The Room is hot.

    This is my second stay. My first visit was shortly after the facility opened, and I had a good experience then. However, this time, despite it being winter, the Room was too warm with poor air circulation, making it difficult to sleep. I did not use the baths as both the indoor bath and open-air bath were cold water baths. The sauna was around 110°C and too hot for me to use; however, serious sauna enthusiasts might enjoy it. The customer service was excellent.

    Day Use

    The facility is well-equipped, and the front desk service is excellent, so I use it frequently. If I may suggest, the day-use checkout time is currently until 5 PM, which feels a bit rushed. Extending it to 6 PM would be ideal as it allows for a more relaxed schedule before heading out for dinner. Please consider this suggestion.

    I was delighted to have my Room upgraded upon arrival. I couldn't find a clock in the Room; perhaps I just missed it? The night view from the rooftop was stunning. Dinner was delicious, but the conversations from neighboring tables were quite loud—I wish we had been seated a bit further apart. As I had an early departure, I couldn't enjoy breakfast. This time, I used the Port Liner to get there, and I thought it would have been helpful to have guidance from the nearest station.

    I didn't include breakfast as I had an early morning, but the breakfast buffet looked delicious, so I plan to include it next time. The bath was small but clean and comfortable to use. It would have been better if the carbonated spring was a bit stronger.

    Stayed for one night during a business trip from Tokyo.

    The room was very clean and I was extremely satisfied. Since it was a one-night stay with No Meals Included, I didn't have many opportunities to interact with the staff, but I felt that the front desk and check-out services were handled politely. I love saunas, so I had high expectations, and they were exceeded. The temperature was excellent. There is also a space to relax after using the cold bath, which made me very happy. If I may suggest something about the Room, having a smartphone charging cable near the power outlets would be convenient. I usually carry one with me, but this time I forgot it and had to use a charger from a convenience store. If I have another business trip to Kobe, I'd like to stay here again. The restaurant looked lovely from outside; next time I'd like to try breakfast as well!

    We stayed here for our child's junior high school graduation trip.

    Six junior high school boys stayed at the accommodation. The children planned the trip themselves, found the accommodation, and brought consent forms from their respective guardians. Thank you very much for kindly allowing their stay. The children returned home very satisfied. We truly appreciate your hospitality.

    Lack of professionalism among front desk staff

    The Hotel offers charming Rooms, atmosphere, and reasonable prices. The restaurant staff is always polite, and the food is delicious. This was my second stay. However, this time I found the language and attitude of the front desk staff inappropriate for customer service. There was no greeting at check-in, their demeanor was extremely intimidating, and their tone when responding to inquiries felt insulting. As a city Hotel, I did not have high expectations for staff professionalism; however, encountering two such rare individuals in recent times was surprising (both were quite mature adults; I will refrain from further details). I look forward to seeing improvements in training for the benefit of other wonderful staff members.

    This time, we stayed...

    This time, we stayed at the Property with plans to relax nearby as a couple. The Room was spacious and easy to use, but it was a bit disappointing that the refrigerator did not have a freezer space. The large public bath and microwave were convenient. It was also nice to be able to view the Luminarie on its final day from the rooftop. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well. We would like to use this Property again.

    I was completely satisfied.

    The Room was clean everywhere, making it a pleasant stay. The reception staff was also very friendly. I didn't have a meal, but the bed was large, and everything was completely satisfying. Thank you very much.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night from Friday evening and had a very relaxing time. When I went to the front desk to check in, I was a bit anxious as I was assisted by a foreign staff member. However, I felt reassured as they were very polite and made a great effort to communicate. I was also delighted that they prepared a Room that was slightly upgraded from the one I had reserved. It’s a short walk to Nakakoen Station on the Port Liner, but I found the distance to be just right when walking back and forth. The large public bath was very soothing, and I was able to relax in the warm water. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a spacious dining area and a wide variety of dishes. I also appreciated that the checkout time was until 11 a.m., allowing for a leisurely morning. This time, I stayed with my wife, but next time, I’d like to visit with my family. Thank you very much.

    After entering the room, I took a shower, but the water pressure was extremely weak... It was so cold. However, the shower before leaving had a normal and plentiful flow.

    The front desk staff's smiles are wonderful.

    Both during check-in and check-out, the front desk staff were friendly, polite, and left a positive impression. Unfortunately, the meals were not particularly memorable.
