    The lounge is excellent.

    I stayed for one night because the all-inclusive lounge was very appealing. A wide variety of drinks and snacks. Since it was free, I expected it to be just okay—but I was completely wrong. Cream cheese with crackers. An assortment of ham. Salad. Nuts. Various cheeses. Chocolate. Snack foods. Everything is stylishly arranged and displayed. As soon as something starts running low, it’s quickly replenished. The drink selection is excellent as well. It’s a chic space that feels like a bar in Roppongi. Both Japanese guests and international visitors were having a great time together. I was very satisfied. Breakfast was delicious too. Thank you very much.

    The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

    The lounge snacks and the large public bath were much appreciated. We chose a Room with a shower booth since there is a large public bath, and it was more than sufficient. We were also happy that the toilet was private and very clean. What impressed us most was breakfast! Even for visitors, it was an excellent value at 2,420 yen—far more luxurious than we expected. Miso pork soup, clam rice porridge, acqua pazza, roast pork cutlet, biryani, green curry, and more. Everything was delicious and we were completely satisfied. Thank you very much.

    The view from the Ro...

    The view from the Room was enjoyable, with a clear look out over various roads. The temperature in the large public bath was not too hot—just right for me, comfortable enough to stay in for a long time. The lounge was cozy, and I used it before and after check-in, after bathing, and even after check-out. I also thought it was fun that there were games like Othello available. There were many young staff members, and everyone was kind with wonderful smiles. Thank you very much.

    It is a good Hotel.

    Perhaps because it is a relatively new Hotel, everything feels new and pleasant. I think it would be better if the large public bath could be used from check-in (3:00 PM). I also wish happy hour were available a little later. In the lobby, I would like you to offer at least coffee even for guests who do not use the breakfast service. Also, I believe that attendants cleaning the large public bath should be of the same gender. As there are many guests from overseas, please consider improving this.

    Stay with Friends

    I stayed overnight with friends. The Room was clean, and it was nice to have drinks available at check-in. We returned to the Hotel late and couldn’t use the service, but it would have been even better if it were available until later.

    The lounge was better than expected.

    The lounge was very comfortable, and my daughter and I used it many times—for snacks, drinks after dinner, and tea before leaving the next day. It never felt overly crowded; everyone relaxed quietly, so we were able to unwind. The large public bath was also easy to use, and the Sekkisei amenities and shampoo bar were great. Although it was an in-between season in early spring, it was a bit disappointing that the changing room was too warm. The Moderate Twin isn’t very spacious, but for a central location it had an open view with a nice outlook, and the separate bathroom area made it convenient. If I have the opportunity, I’d love to stay again.

    Accommodation to Enjoy the Scenery

    It was a Room on the 16th floor. I had an important appointment on the day of checkout, so I extended checkout to 1:00 PM to conserve my energy (2,000 yen). The view from the window was wonderful, so I enjoyed my time at the Hotel by taking a bath and using the lounge.

    Would love to stay again.

    There is a draft beer server, and various foreign beers are available for tasting, which was enjoyable. The snacks were also delicious. The shampoo bar in the large public bath was great. Breakfast was small but offered a wide variety and was enjoyable. The donuts in the lounge at the beginning were also tasty.

    Excellent!

    It is not located in front of the station, so you will need to walk about 1km. However, the excellent service here makes it worth revisiting. The service at Japanese Hotels is truly outstanding! The fatigue from walking was relieved in the large public bath.

    Osaka-Kansai Expo Again: This Time, a Solo Journey

    In August, following July, I had the opportunity to visit the Osaka-Kansai Expo Italian Pavilion and embarked on a sudden solo trip for 2 nights. While the distance from Osaka or Umeda Station to the Hotel might feel slightly far for some, it is only a 4-5 minute walk to the autonomous bus stop (Marubiru Terminal) heading to the Expo. On your return, you can take a train from Yumeshima, transfer at Tanimachi 4-chome, and get off at Higashi-Umeda; Elcient Hotel is right there. Both buses and trains are almost always available with seating. The hotel is conveniently located near bustling downtown areas with famous okonomiyaki restaurants like Yukari and Fuku nearby—making it an ideal spot for visiting the Expo. The free lounge accessible to all guests offers high-quality service as part of their accommodation benefits. The paid breakfast menu is also excellent and delicious (my favorite was tonkatsu). You can enjoy both baths and saunas comfortably during your stay. During my visit, I had an opportunity to speak with general managers from Kyoto and Osaka branches of this hotel chain. The staff's warm smiles made me feel very welcome—it’s truly a hotel that caters thoughtfully to tourists. For those who haven’t stayed here yet: even one night will show you what genuine hospitality feels like! Even after the Expo ends, I’ve decided this will be my base for exploring Osaka attractions such as cherry blossom viewing at Osaka Mint Bureau in springtime—I’m already planning another visit in April!

    Although the hotel is a bit far from the station, it is within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing and visiting the Expo. The bath was also excellent.

    Kansai/Osaka Expo Couple's Trip

    Visited Osaka for the Expo and stayed here for the first time—was amazed by the comfort. The service at the newly opened lounge surpasses that of hotel lounge floors. From check-in to check-out, it felt like there was almost constant drink service, along with delicious cookies, donuts, and chocolates. While we don’t drink alcohol, others were enjoying wine and beer. Breakfast was hearty and delicious; especially the tonkatsu menu conveyed the chef’s wish for guests to eat well in the morning and head out energized—it felt more like a brunch than just breakfast. Freshly made dishes were served continuously, including Osaka specialties like takoyaki, okonomiyaki pizza, Danish pastries—all tasted great! The public bath was clean with thoughtful amenities (like bags for wet items or alcohol wipes) as well as high-quality skincare products from reputable brands—it didn’t feel like a business accommodation but something far beyond that level of service! The room was compact but equipped with convenient amenities tailored to guests’ needs. A small detail worth mentioning is the clock provided—it lights up when pressed so you can easily see the time in dark conditions—a rare touch showing consideration for guests' comfort. Impressive information services on TV included sightseeing guides and even instructions on how to use buses—perfectly accommodating inbound travelers. During conversations with locals at Expo events in Osaka, I recommended this hotel to three people as one of Osaka’s best accommodations. A hotel that truly considers what its guests need is unmatched. This stay has been my best experience among all my reservations through IKYU.com so far. I look forward to visiting again soon!

    It was comfortable!

    Clean and very comfortable stay! The water service on each floor was great, and the lounge offered alcohol, making it convenient to enjoy a light drink before dinner. I didn't use the large public bath, but the bathtub in the Room was more than sufficient.

    Is inbound support necessary?

    We understand that there are many international guests these days, but we kindly ask that proper guidelines be communicated during check-in. In the public bath, some international guests entered the bath with their underwear on and played around in the water as if it were a pool. Witnessing this made me uncomfortable, so I returned to my Room and used the private bath instead. Other than this issue, it was a good Hotel. While this is not directly the Hotel's fault, we would appreciate it if usage instructions could be explained at check-in. A simple notice in the public bath may not be enough as some might not read it. Thank you for your understanding.

    Simply beautiful! Excellent service!

    Everything was clean and comfortable, making our stay very pleasant. The free water dispenser was a great addition! Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was excellent. Drinks were available during specific times in the early morning or after evening hours. It was an amazing accommodation that exceeded its price value.

    Osaka Marathon Use

    It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Hotel is very clean and stylish, which is nice. There are also many women around.

    Disappointing Hotel

    The reviews from others were good, so it might have been bad luck with the Room I got... However, the lack of cleanliness in the Room was very disappointing. The shelves, sink, and toilet were covered in dust. The drain in the sink was so dirty that I tried cleaning it with the amenity toothbrush, but the yellow stains stuck to it wouldn't come off. The towels provided on the first day were normal. However, on the second day, the towels hanging on my door were so worn out and thin that I've never used such poor-quality bath towels before! I usually trust Hotels listed on IKYU.com, but this experience has made me a bit hesitant about future Reservations.
