    Your First Stay in Nagoya

    I stayed one night in a twin Room after watching the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament. The service and the Room environment were excellent, and I had a very comfortable stay. Since it was my first time staying in Nagoya, it was hard to find my way from JR Nagoya Station to Unimall, and I got lost. I would appreciate more detailed directions on how to get to Sanco Inn. Thank you for your hospitality.

    A Little Touch of Luxury

    A luxury to enjoy Nagoya Castle through the window while relaxing on the bed! Not spacious, but a luxury to stretch out in the large public bath and unwind at your own pace! A luxury to savor Nagoya specialties—starting with eel—from breakfast! I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in Nagoya.

    It was convenient.

    It felt a bit unusual to have the sink next to the bed. I also would have liked a little more space to hang clothes. Other than that, everything was great.

    Absolutely wonderful

    I’ve always stayed at a Hotel directly above the station in Nagoya, but this time—during the F1 period—it was fully booked, so I stayed here for the first time. It’s a bit of a walk from Nagoya Station, but not an issue at all. There are countless restaurants along the way, so I strolled around, had dinner, and then checked in. The Room may look small in terms of square meters, but “compact and well-designed” is a more accurate description than “cramped.” Since it was a corner Room, the view was excellent. The bath area, washbasin area, and toilet are all separate, which made it very convenient to use. Charging cables were provided on both sides of the bed, and other thoughtful Facilities were perfectly arranged—everything you might need was covered. The bathtub is slightly small (though there is also a large public bath), but it’s well within an acceptable range. Both the Room and public areas are modern and spotless. The elevators require key access as well, which adds to the sense of security. The breakfast buffet was also excellent with nothing to complain about. I was surprised by the F1 pricing this time, but their regular rates are very reasonable—an outstanding value Hotel overall. Highly recommended.

    The Hotel is conveniently located, but I was disappointed with the large public bath.

    The Hotel facilities were well equipped, and during my six-night stay I hardly experienced any inconvenience. However, the public bath was disappointingly chaotic. For example, I repeatedly saw guests entering the tub without washing first, as well as guests with tattoos using the bath. I think the Hotel should do more to clearly communicate proper bathing etiquette.

    The stay was generally comfortable, but...

    The staff's service was excellent, likely due to thorough training. The Room was not very spacious but clean and well-organized, making it easy to move around. The meals were delicious, though I felt that adding two more dishes would have been ideal. On a personal note, when traveling from Nagoya Station, I struggled to find any signs or maps indicating the Hotel's name (e.g., in station guides or subway maps). This might not be an issue for locals but could be challenging for visitors unfamiliar with the area. Lastly, I must mention this: the drainage in the bathroom sink was extremely poor. It caused stress every time I used it. It seemed less like a clogging issue and more like a design problem? (Apologies if this sounds harsh; other guests may have experienced similar frustrations.) Please look into this matter if possible. Thank you!

    Surprisingly improved!

    I was pleasantly surprised to see improvements in areas I had concerns about during my stay a week ago. (For example, when requesting additional small towels, they were handed over in plastic bags this time instead of being handed directly as before. Also, trash bins were labeled for separating items like PET bottles and others.) The meals had also improved; last time the menu was the same for a week, but this time there were some changes, and the fried dishes were crispy and delicious. However, the coffee drink server seemed old—when pouring hot water, a few drops of what seemed like coffee would always mix in at the end. This is not unique to this hotel but is something I’ve noticed elsewhere too. It would be nice if there were hotels that offered tasty plain hot water as well. Regarding the reservation system: it would be helpful if we could select days with or without breakfast when making a multiple night stay reservation. Reflecting on my experience overall—the excellent location, noticeable improvements even within a short period of time, and the pleasant service from staff—I definitely want to stay here again.     Overall satisfied.

    It's really convenient and appreciated that you can reach the Hotel from the station without getting wet. The Room was compact and well-organized as a Business Hotel, making it comfortable. Concerns: The drainage in the sink was poor. Additionally, mold was visible around the drain area of the sink. When washing my face, it's hard not to notice it as you get closer to the sink, so I tried to avoid looking at it. If this could be improved, it would provide greater peace of mind.

    Highly satisfied! Nearly perfect.

    - The Room is simple and clean. - The large-screen TV was enjoyable. - The public bath is clean and instantly relieved my fatigue. - I would give a perfect score of 100, but the refrigerator's freezing function was weak, so I couldn't store ice cream (though the free ice cream available at the bath was delicious). I rarely feel completely satisfied with a Hotel/Ryokan, but this place exceeded my expectations. Although I don't often visit Nagoya, I would definitely stay here again next time. Thank you!

    The large public bat...

    The large public bath was not used, but the room's bath was clean and pleasant. The sink being on the living area side felt unusual at first, but it turned out to be more convenient for morning preparations. Having two face towels provided daily during a Multiple Night Stay was extremely helpful. Amenities were thoughtfully placed in the room, and new ones were replenished as needed. I was so satisfied that I couldn't find anything negative, and now I feel like staying at this hotel or others in its group again.

    Perfect for business use.

    The compactly arranged Room is impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. The grilled eel served at breakfast is surprisingly delicious. For business use, the satisfaction level ranks quite high within Nagoya City.

    Comfortable

    Chose this Hotel for its walking distance from Nagoya Station and the large public bath. Ended up using a taxi due to the heat and heavy luggage. The route to the underground passage of Sakura-dori Subway Line was hard to find, and there seemed to be no escalator, making it difficult with a suitcase. The Hotel itself is compact but very well-designed and extremely comfortable. It would have been perfect if the public bath had a sauna. The Room had a humidifier, and the shampoo products were excellent (Predia). The toilet felt slightly cramped but overall very well thought out. One downside was that the hallway on the floor wasn’t air-conditioned. Staff maintained just the right level of presence, which was appreciated during busy times. This was my first time hearing about Sanco Hotels as someone from Tokyo, but I’m considering looking into them for future trips!

    The bath and service are excellent.

    Accessible from the station via an underground path. The front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. The large public bath and amenities are satisfying. I would love to stay here again when visiting Nagoya. It doesn't feel like it takes much time as you can walk through Unimall from the station. Highly recommended, plus there's a Komeda Coffee along the way!

    This is the place to stay near Nagoya Station with a large public bath.

    I frequently stay here during my business trips to Nagoya. The Hotel is new, clean, and the Room is spacious and comfortable. The separate bath and toilet, as well as amenities like bath salts and a selection of pillows, are rare for a Business Hotel and highly appreciated. The clean public bath is also a great feature that helps me relax every time I use it. It takes about 10 minutes from Nagoya Station via the underground passage, but it feels slightly farther than it looks on the map. A minor point that doesn't affect my overall evaluation is that the elevator requires switching floors and takes some time to close, which can be slightly inconvenient when in a hurry in the morning. Overall, this is an excellent Hotel with high satisfaction levels. I will continue to stay here for future business trips to Nagoya.

    Perfect. Nothing to complain about.

    Accommodation fees are high everywhere now, but the facility, breakfast, and service were impeccable. If I have another chance to visit Nagoya, I will definitely stay here again for that price and quality.

    It was great.

    I stayed at the accommodation for sightseeing in Nagoya. The room, though small, was clean and well-maintained. The large public bath was also frequently cleaned, with no hair on the floor—everything was excellent. The water temperature was just right and very comfortable. One issue: the room's shade let sunlight through, causing me to wake up quite early (I need darkness to sleep). If that could be improved... Even so, the staff were kind, and the direct connection to the station is convenient—I would love to stay here again!

    It's disappointing because it was my favorite accommodation.

    When making the reservation, I left a comment requesting that there be no hair on the bed due to my fear of others' fallen hair caused by illness. Although I received a reply assuring thorough cleaning, when I entered the room and lifted the duvet on the bed, there was hair. I really liked this accommodation's layout (especially that it had a shower booth without a bathtub, separate toilet, and different entrances for the bathroom and toilet—my favorite feature). However, this experience was very disappointing. I couldn't sleep in the bed. Having something I'm most afraid of with me all night was mentally distressing.

    I stayed for 3 night...

    I stayed for 3 nights due to an unexpected situation. I chose this clean Business Hotel with a large public bath. Unlike other similar Business Hotels where hallway and surrounding noises can be bothersome, this place was quiet and allowed me to rest comfortably. You can choose your favorite pillow, the hairdryer is from ReFa, the Onsen water is excellent, and it’s more than satisfactory if you’re just looking for a place to sleep after returning. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya!

    A great Hotel with excellent cost performance

    This was my first time using the Sanco Inn Group, and every staff member I encountered provided exceptional hospitality, comparable to that of a luxury hotel. When leaving the Hotel, they would quickly press the elevator button for me, and upon returning, they always greeted me warmly. While it's common to find one or two friendly staff members at other hotels, every single person here offered outstanding service that made me want to stay again. The guest rooms were clean, amenities were plentiful, and there was even an Onsen—it was truly wonderful. I will definitely choose this Hotel again when visiting Nagoya.

    The room was equipped with all the necessary items, and there were outlets everywhere, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The large public bath is not very spacious, but if you go when it's not crowded, it should be sufficient. If I could make one request: I would like a hairbrush in the large public bath.

    The Room and the large public bath were excellent.

    It was a stay for sightseeing in Nagoya. I chose this new hotel because it has a large public bath. The large public bath was very clean, the shampoo made my hair very smooth, and there was a hairdryer from a top manufacturer, which impressed me. The room was also nice with a separate toilet and washbasin. I would like to stay again. The only disappointment was that there was no bottled water in the room.

    Nagoya Castle

    I have used it several times and always have a comfortable stay. Many overseas guests stay here, but it is quiet, and the bathhouse was clean. I had a chance to relax early in the evening, and when I looked out the window, what a surprise! The Nagoya Castle was lit up! I hadn't noticed it before. You should promote it more! It looked beautiful in the morning as well. I felt a bit lucky. This time, my Room was on a higher floor. Thank you very much.

    It was more comfortable than expected.

    I decided based on the photos on Ikkyu, so I expected it to be clean and comfortable, but it exceeded my expectations. The room is compact but user-friendly, and the shower booth, toilet, and washbasin are separate, which is convenient. Of course, it was spotlessly clean. I didn't use it, but my husband used the large public bath and said it was comfortable. It's also nice to get a free ice pop after a bath. The only disappointment was the room's facilities. There was no place to hang used bath towels, which was inconvenient. The staff were very kind, and I would like to use it again next time.
