    Unexpectedly…

First time staying at APA Hotel. The Room and all the Facilities were better than I had imagined. Considering the price, I would like to stay here again in the future.

Having a large public bath just steps from the station is the best!

It was truly just a short walk from Shin-Osaka Station’s East Exit. There is also a large public bath, which is great when traveling with friends since you don’t have to wait your turn. However, it does get crowded at night. The changing area isn’t very spacious either, so if you can go earlier, make the bath a priority!

The large public bath is excellent. For this location—Shin-Osaka—so close to the station at this price, I keep coming back.

Just a 2-3 minute walk to Shin-Osaka Station, super convenient!

The room size and desk are sufficient for business trips. Noise from neighboring rooms is minimal, and the bed and bedding are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. It would be helpful if the public bath could open from 5:00 AM.

    Accommodation

This was my first time staying at an APA Hotel, and this APA Hotel was excellent! The Room was small, but the large public bath and open-air bath were very relaxing. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    The room is cold.

The air conditioner only has a cooling function. The hand soap is watery, does not foam well, and feels thin.

    The bath was excellent.

This was my first stay. The accommodation is very convenient as it is located right near Shin-Osaka Station. I stayed here this time to visit the Expo. The price was higher due to the Expo, but that couldn't be helped. Upon arriving at Shin-Osaka, I was able to leave my luggage immediately. At the front desk, they approached me before I even noticed and smoothly handled the "luggage storage." On my way back, I took the first Shinkansen of the day, and since it's close to the station, it was really easy. Returning the room key was simple as well, which was very helpful. The best part of my stay was definitely the large public bath. After walking around at the Expo and feeling tired, it provided great relaxation. It was also nice that information about how crowded the bath area is could be checked on TV. The changing rooms were clean too, and overall, both the facility and accommodation were very clean and comfortable. One disappointing aspect was when I greeted a staff member doing bed-making; there wasn’t any response from them. They seemed to be from overseas, but I think greetings should still be exchanged in such situations—it would feel more welcoming! In other hotels or accommodations abroad where I've stayed before, staff usually respond when greeted (though not always). Overall though, it’s incredibly convenient and comfortable here! If given another opportunity in future visits or trips nearby—I’d love staying again!

Please make sure to greet others.

It was my first stay in a while, and I was impressed by the well-maintained amenities and facilities. The location and large public bath were also excellent, reaffirming the quality of this accommodation. However, I must point out that although there were two staff members at the reception, neither greeted me when I approached with a "Good evening." Greetings are fundamental, especially for hotel staff. This should be addressed as part of basic training or common courtesy.

    Perfect for just sleeping.

Close to Shin-Osaka and very convenient. There is a large public bath, so the small bathroom in the Room is not an issue. The Room is small, but it should be no problem if you're just sleeping.

What does a connecting room mean?

Minimal amenities, comfortable beds, and a nice bath. However, the concept of a connecting Room was unclear. When my friend and I entered the Rooms, the door between them was already open. While that was fine, we had assumed we could open and close it at will. Once we closed both doors this time, they locked completely and couldn’t be reopened. Was it standard for these Rooms to have the door left open? If so, an explanation (which could have been provided beforehand) or a note during check-in would have been helpful. In hindsight, when we were initially given only one key at check-in and requested two keys for each Room instead of one, I now understand why there was only one key provided. Given this situation, booking two single Rooms might have been just as effective. As for the bath facilities: while they were well-equipped, I don’t believe it qualifies as an outdoor bath since it’s located indoors. It wasn’t clear what part of it made it “outdoor.” Additionally, regarding access to the bathing area: if there is a shared entrance for men and women at such a large entryway, having clear signage like "Men & Women" would be helpful. When I went in and saw several men coming out from behind the curtain all at once, I mistakenly thought it was exclusively for men—though this is just a minor detail!

    Large public bath available

Perfect for Expo sightseeing. The large public bath was a relief after a day of walking and sweating. It was also convenient to check the crowd status from the Room. The Room size is quite tight, but it has all the basic amenities needed, making it sufficient for just sleeping. Breakfast offered a variety of small portions, all delicious. The pickled mustard greens and whitebait rice porridge was perfect for the morning.

    The woman who assist...

The woman who assisted during check-in and check-out was attentive, quick to offer help, and provided service with a warm smile. One concern was the smell of the pillow. The sheets also had a slight odor. I noticed it immediately after lying down before sleeping, and unfortunately, the smell kept me awake during the night. (The color of the sheets was pure white and very clean.) Additionally, I think a thinner comforter would be more suitable for this season. It felt too warm when using it, so I debated whether to turn off the air conditioning or set it lower (around 26°C) while using the comforter. The bath temperature was quite high for both indoor and outdoor baths, making it easy to feel overheated. The outdoor bath did not offer views of the sky or scenery but had an open ceiling design that allowed sunlight to filter through like dappled light from trees. The bath itself was clean and pleasant. However, as the sink area was crowded and I couldn’t use a hairdryer there, I ended up drying my hair in my Room instead. Breakfast had a homely taste. If you’re looking for something unique that you wouldn’t eat at home, perhaps ordering dinner might be better? I may visit again as I'd like to finish reading books by your president and his wife!

I went on an accommodation trip after a long time due to having a chronic illness, and I was worried about my condition. As expected, my health became unstable, and although I was supposed to pick up the bento box I ordered for dinner myself, the front desk kindly delivered it to me, which was a great help. The breakfast buffet the next morning had a wide variety of options and was very enjoyable. If I have the chance, I would love to use this accommodation again!

    I stayed in a single...

I stayed in a single room, so I expected it to be small, and it only felt slightly cramped. However, as is often the case, the bathroom and toilet were combined, which made the sink surprisingly small. Washing my face was quite a challenge. The toilet was placed at the edge of the space, so I imagine that someone larger or men might find it difficult to use comfortably unless they keep their legs perfectly aligned. The window was frosted glass (white) instead of clear glass, so when I woke up the next day and heard rain sounds, I couldn't tell how bad the weather was outside or how heavy the rain was.

    The public bath was disappointing.

The public bath is disappointing. The changing room is small, and the lockers become crowded with just 2-3 people, making it unusable until others finish. The open-air bath lacks an outdoor feel, and both the open-air and indoor baths have water that is too hot. However, there are plenty of washing stations available.

One of the best within APA hotels.

There are other APA Hotels around Shin-Osaka, each with its own advantages, but the comfort of the Room and the staff's hospitality at this APA Hotel left the best impression. During self-check-in, I have occasionally been annoyed by overly intrusive interactions at other Hotels. However, here it was excellent! The female staff member kindly paused for a moment before speaking, just before it could become irritating. Self-check-in is now widely implemented in many Hotels, but I often find myself frustrated by rushed speech or pushy instructions. Here, however, I felt relieved as they guided me while being considerate of my expressions. The Room was compact yet very comfortable with essentials like disposable slippers readily available. Having stayed at almost all Business Hotels around Shin-Osaka, this one is highly recommended. I would love to stay here again.

    Apa Debut

This was my first time using it. The unit bath was really too small, and I was a bit taken aback by its narrowness. It felt like the bare minimum. However, it was inconvenient that there was no magnifying mirror available for loan, and the kimono-style pajamas were also inconvenient. The Hotel itself is new, but the cleaning was not thorough, and there was dust in some places...
