    I have stayed here repeatedly, but the meals did not seem to be very good.

    We often stay here because it’s convenient for our family visits. The Hotel is comfortable, and we would like to stay again. However, this was the first time we added breakfast, and we received a complaint that it was so unappetizing they couldn’t eat it. They chose Japanese-style on the first day and Western-style on the second, but said it tasted like bland frozen food and didn’t suit their palate. There are plenty of breakfast options around Wakoshi, so we would prefer not to include breakfast in the future.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    I had an early schedule the next morning, so I stayed at this Hotel near the nearest station. The Room was simple and easy to use, the bathtub was deep, and the shower water pressure was strong, so I was able to relax comfortably. I would like to stay here again next time.

    A Hotel Convenient for Sightseeing in Tokyo

    It was close to Ikebukuro Station, and being directly connected to the station meant we didn’t have to worry about the heat while getting around. The Room was just the right size for two people, and the sofa and luggage space were convenient, so we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a Japanese buffet where you could choose a main dish, and side dishes were served in small bowls you could pick up yourself, which felt clean and satisfying. We will definitely stay again.

    I’m concerned about whether there are any legal violations.

    This was a Room next to the emergency staircase, and the entire window was covered with adhesive tape, so I couldn’t see outside at all. I didn’t think much of it on the first day, but on the day I extended my stay there was a complete power outage. When I wanted to check with my own eyes whether it was a neighborhood-wide outage or limited to the building, I felt that covering the entire window with tape could become a life-safety issue. It seems previous guests also tried to look outside—the bottom edge of the tape had started to peel off slightly (which is how I realized it was next to the emergency staircase). I made an on-site payment Reservation that day at a lower price than on the Hotel’s official website, so I understand being assigned a Room near the emergency staircase. However, if this is meant to prevent people from looking in from outside, blackout curtains would be sufficient. I don’t believe there is such a thing as flame-retardant adhesive tape, so having flammable material attached to a window also seems dangerous. Because this could affect rescue and evacuation during disasters, I may contact the public health center and fire department to confirm whether this violates applicable lodging or fire safety regulations. If I do so, I plan to post an update elsewhere.

    There are too few coin laundry machines for the number of rooms.

    Due to an unexpected issue, I had to stay overnight at short notice. Since it wasn’t a planned stay, I didn’t have enough clothes. When I tried to use the coin laundry, there were only two machines available. I waited for over an hour, but I was too tired and couldn’t manage it. In the end, I bought a full set of essentials at a nearby convenience store.

    Breakfast costs 1,100 yen, but it isn’t very good. The only disappointing part was the breakfast.

    Convenient Location

    Because the hotel is directly connected to the station, getting around wasn’t a hassle even during the typhoon’s heavy rain. Being able to control the lighting and air conditioning via a touch panel is a very smart and welcome feature. However, the bathroom had an odd smell—possibly from the drains—which was very disappointing. So I rated “Room” 2 stars, but everything else was perfect! I’ll definitely stay here again whenever I’m on a business trip to Wakoshi.

    For an event

    I stayed here for an event. The transportation access was very convenient, and there is a shopping complex above the station, which was also very handy. The breakfast lets you choose one main dish from five options and pick several small side dishes to create a set meal to your liking. You can also choose between white rice and multigrain rice. The Room was also very nice.

    A clean Hotel conveniently located near the station!

    I stayed here for a trip to central Tokyo. Wakoshi Station offers convenient access to central Tokyo and the Yokohama area. The Room had a flat floor, which felt safe and comfortable. Both the firmness of the bed and the comfort of the sofa were excellent. The bathtub was spacious, and even though I’m tall, I could stretch out and relax. Breakfast was provided by a Japanese restaurant in the restaurant area on the lower floor. It was a half-buffet style with a choice of main dish, plus unlimited side dishes. Everything was delicious; I chose the tofu hamburger steak, which was filling and gave me plenty of energy for the day. Having 100% orange juice as an option was also a big plus. There is no dedicated parking lot, but there are coin-operated parking lots around the station, so it wasn’t an issue. I would like to stay again.

    Cleanliness and Convenience

    This was my third stay. I love the cleanliness of the accommodation and its excellent location, just a one-minute walk from the station. Since I visit Tokyo every two months, I find it so comfortable that I want to make it my regular accommodation.

    The best Hotel in Wako City

    The service was smooth and polite. It would feel warmer if it were a bit more friendly. The Room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and though compact, it was functional! A desk lamp would have made working easier. Breakfast was delicious, but the staff seemed formal without smiles, which felt a bit cold. However, their efficiency was impressive. This is the best quality in Wakoshi!

    No sound leakage, blackout curtains, and control via a personal tablet—always satisfying. Amid rising prices and calls for corporate effort, this service and pricing make it worth repeating. During my Multiple Night Stay, I was impressed by the thoroughness of the cleaning.

    Thank you for your stay. We often use Tobu Hotel in Wako, Kawagoe, and Asakusa, and we appreciate the warm hospitality at the front desk and the free coffee available in the lobby. We usually book a twin room, but this time we tried a double room for the first time. It would be helpful to have a simple partition like a roll screen between the bed and bathroom when staying as two people.

    Quiet and convenient

    Unchanging Stability and Peace of Mind

    I have used this Hotel multiple times when visiting the city. Located above the station, you can reach the Hotel without worrying about rain. Easy access to central areas via subway. Clean, quiet, and bright. No complaints or dissatisfaction at all.

    It was comfortable.

    The room is clean with a separate bath and toilet. Although compact in design, it does not feel cramped. The staff were polite and courteous, which was appreciated. However, early in the morning, the voices of other guests talking in the hallway could be heard quite clearly in the room, which was bothersome. Additionally, for breakfast, the portions of self-service side dishes and yogurt were inconsistent. If you are considering a Multiple Night Stay, dining outside might be an option to consider.

    Beautiful and convenient!

    The entrance and the Room are all clean. Directly connected to the station, it's always convenient to use. The man at the front desk during check-in and the man during check-out were both smiling and smart. The trainee name tag with the beginner's mark was charming and nice. I'm happy to be able to drink coffee in the Room! I would appreciate it if you could continue this in the future.

    The coin laundry is crowded.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. There were several spots on the Room walls that looked like scratches, and I felt the need for maintenance. I also used the coin laundry during my stay, but since there are only two machines, it was always crowded and felt like a "battle for them." Those who return late from work may need to check availability until late at night. Additionally, the area around the filter was always dirty with trash, and I had to ask the front desk for cleaning every time.

    I always use this place because it's close to the station. I wasn't informed that there were no amenities in the Room, so I had to go back to get them. I was exhausted and didn't notice they were next to the elevator.

    It is comfortable.

    I stayed here for one night due to business in Kawagoe. The transportation from Tokyo is convenient, and being right above the station was very helpful in an unfamiliar area. The front desk service was polite, and the Room was clean and comfortable.
