    Excellent access!

    Very convenient, right in front of Sakurai Station. We stayed here to visit Hasedera Temple and Abe Monju-in on our way back from Osaka. We also planned to go to Horyu-ji afterward, so we used Sakurai Station, which is served by both Kintetsu and JR. The Room was more spacious than expected and very practical. The large public bath was also very clean. If I had one request, I would have liked mineral water in the Room.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located just steps from the stations (Kintetsu and JR), I felt it was an excellent base for exploring ancient Japanese history around Nara Prefecture. There are good, affordable restaurants within walking distance, and there is also a convenience store nearby, which is very handy. The building is new and comfortable, and the Room layout worked well both for relaxing and for desk work. Since I love trains, I had a great time in a station-side Room where I could watch the trains. I think it offers excellent value for money. It’s also close to sites related to the introduction of Buddhism to Japan and the missions to Sui China, making it an ideal location for fans of ancient Japanese history.

    Unfortunately, personally...

    I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days to visit Hasedera Temple, Muroji Temple, and Omiwa Shrine. It is also convenient for visiting Abe Monjuin Temple and Tanzan Shrine. The hotel was overall clean, and the large public bath was spacious, allowing me to relax during my stay. However, there were no notable shops around the hotel, which made finding dinner during the trip a bit challenging. Additionally, the breakfast buffet had limited options; by the third day, I found no enjoyment in it. Unfortunately, I must give low marks for dining and service due to a specific issue. The breakfast buffet used right-handed ladles that are difficult for left-handed people to use. They pose a risk of burns from spills and are not hygienic either. In an industry as professional as hospitality, such feedback should have been addressed already. Ignoring this gives off an impression that "left-handed guests are not welcome," which is disappointing.

    Perfect for solo travelers

    Stayed here for the first time in spring while visiting the Yamato Four Temples and liked it so much that I returned during summer vacation. The room was just the right size, with comfortable chairs for a relaxing stay. The restaurant offers izakaya-style dishes at night, making it convenient to use, and breakfast included in the accommodation fee had a good variety and was delicious, making it feel like a great deal. I also enjoyed being able to see the Kintetsu Limited Express from my room. The thoughtful addition of coin-operated laundry machines in the women's bath changing area was also appreciated.

    A Business Hotel with a Ryokan Atmosphere

    I had some business in Kashihara City and chose this Hotel as it fit within my budget. Its proximity to the station was also a deciding factor. After reserving for one night, I added another night and requested the same room, which they kindly arranged. At check-in, since it was a multiple-night stay, I opted out of cleaning for one day and received a complimentary drink instead. I was pleasantly surprised that I could choose beer instead of just low-malt beer. The room had two beds despite being a single room. There was also a chair and table, and since you take off your shoes inside, sitting on the floor felt comfortable—almost like staying at an Onsen Ryokan. The large public bath helped relieve my fatigue with its dim lighting and uncrowded atmosphere making it very relaxing. While the water felt slightly lukewarm overall, near the spout it was just right in temperature. The washing areas were spaced out enough to avoid splashing others' water—a thoughtful design! Usually, there are lockers with keys in changing rooms; while they weren’t inside here initially causing confusion—they were located outside which made sense upon noticing them (though many might miss this detail). The room itself left no complaints—it even offered WOWOW channels on TV for free viewing—a first for me! Breakfast options seemed slightly limited but still left me feeling full by the end. While I may not have another chance to visit Sakurai City again soon, Route Inn has become one of my go-to Hotels!

    It was excellent.

    Stayed overnight before visiting Muro-ji Temple and Hase-dera Temple. Despite being near the station, there are no restaurants nearby, but the hotel was excellent with a great bath, comfortable room, and delicious breakfast buffet. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was very tasty. The price is reasonable, making it a highly recommended hotel. If it's hard to find accommodation in Nara City, this hotel is also a good option.

    It was excellent.

    Stayed here for a visit to Omiwa Shrine. The location was convenient and helpful. The Room was very clean, and the large public bath was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was very delicious. The staff were all polite and attentive, making my stay pleasant. Thank you!

    Perfect as a base accommodation

    We chose this Hotel for its convenient location as we planned to explore the eastern and southern parts of Nara. Just a 1-minute walk from Sakurai Station, which serves both JR and Kintetsu lines, it was an excellent choice for visiting areas like Muro, Hase, and Asuka along the Kintetsu line or heading to Nara City and Ikaruga via JR. The women's large bath has an auto-lock door with a keypad code provided exclusively to female guests daily, ensuring safety even late at night. There are also lockers for valuables at the bath entrance for added security. The Comfort Room is located on the top 9th floor, offering a close-up view of Mount Miwa from the window. A multi-port charger is pre-installed in the room, making it very convenient for daily use. Unfortunately, there are no places within or near the Hotel to purchase souvenirs. It would be great if they could at least offer Miwa Somen noodles as a local specialty item.

    Is it your first time starting a Multiple Night Stay at our Business Hotel?

    At the front desk, I was asked if I wanted room cleaning. Of course, I requested it, and on the first day, the trash was removed. However, on the second day, the trash was left as it was. There were no signs of cleaning in areas like the toilet or vacuuming in the room. It felt like an unsanitary Hotel!

    The front desk staff were friendly and answered questions accurately, making check-in a pleasant experience. It was convenient to go to the large public bath wearing the provided yukata and slippers. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance. Thank you very much!

    The room was relatively spacious and clean, and the large public bath was bigger and more relaxing than expected.

    Sakurai Station is very convenient for sightseeing in Nara, and I will continue to use it in the future. Thanks to this, I had the best cherry blossom trip experience.

    Convenient Business Hotel Near the Station

    Booked two functional single rooms. Reception and self-service options are convenient. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was decent. Breakfast buffet starts at 6:30 AM, but it was crowded as most guests chose this time slot. The accommodation also features a large public bath and offers reasonable pricing.

    Completely satisfied.

    I stayed one night at Asuka Tourism. The Room was spacious, equipped with a sofa and desk, allowing for a comfortable stay. The lobby offered free coffee and travel guidebooks, which were helpful for sightseeing. The large public bath was also enjoyable. Breakfast was not crowded and delicious. It was a very pleasant experience.
