    I’ve been staying he...

    I’ve been staying here about once a year since it opened, and it’s my favorite Business Hotel. Because it’s directly connected to the station, it’s convenient for getting anywhere. The amenity bar is well stocked, and I like that the selection changes based on guest feedback. The bathroom with a separate washing area is another reason I enjoy staying here. Many Hotels now have a coffee machine at the front desk, but this one also provides drip coffee in the Room (I imagine maintaining cups and glasses is a lot of work), which I really appreciate. New Hotels are opening one after another nearby—keep up the great work. I’ll be back again.

    I stayed here as a solo traveler.

    The Room was very clean. I made a Reservation online and simply wrote in the request field that I wanted a Room with a nice view, but they kindly assigned me a high-floor Room with an excellent view. I was truly happy and completely satisfied! The Room was spotless, and the bathroom being separate from the toilet was especially great—I could relax and enjoy a long soak in the tub. It was also very convenient: not only is it close to the station, but there are shops nearby such as Seijo Ishii, Starbucks, and Daiso. However, one disappointing point was breakfast. I went around 8:30 a.m., and perhaps because it was busy, I found some of the staff’s attitude a bit concerning. When I accidentally dropped the tongs, they sighed, and when another guest dropped food, they reacted excessively and seemed bothered. The food itself tasted good, so I wanted to eat more, but the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and I returned to my Room quickly. I had been looking forward to dining at KITEKI Restaurant, so this was disappointing. Other than that, both the Hotel Room and the front desk staff were pleasant and very courteous, which made this trip truly enjoyable. Thank you very much.

    I was able to relax and recover.

    I stayed here for a business trip in Minato Mirai. Check-in and check-out were smooth with the self-service machines, and all necessary amenities were well stocked in the lobby. The bathroom and toilet were separate, everything was clean, and the room was extremely comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable, and I was able to recover from work fatigue. I would have appreciated an extra bath towel, but I realized afterward that I probably should have asked at the lobby. I definitely want to stay here again.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    I’ve stayed at Hotel Mets in other prefectures and had a good impression, and I’m glad I chose to stay here again this time. The location, separate toilet and bathroom, bed size, in-room facilities, complimentary water/Chill Out drinks and snacks, and the friendly staff all made for a very comfortable stay. The only minor thing I noticed was that the glass door in the bathroom was slightly dirty. Breakfast felt fairly standard. Since the location is great, I also used nearby cafés. I couldn’t enjoy a night view from my Room this time, but I’ll look forward to it on my next visit. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

    This was my first st...

    This was my first stay. The location right near Sakuragicho Station and the generously sized bath were very appealing. I had a little trouble finding the Hotel entrance, but the location is excellent. I didn’t use them this time, but there are also Seijo Ishii, Starbucks, and restaurants nearby, which is convenient. The bath is similar to what you’d have at home, so I could relax and soak after returning to the Hotel tired. I’d like to stay at this Hotel again when I have plans in Yokohama.

    Body odor smell in the Room

    I stayed for one night. The Hotel was new and clean, the bath was spacious, and the Facility overall was excellent. They also had an amenity buffet, and with Seijo Ishii and Starbucks on-site, I found it a very comfortable place to stay. The staff were also very helpful. However, when I entered the Room, there was a strong unpleasant odor—like body odor—that made it hard to stay. They kindly changed my Room, but even in the new Room I occasionally noticed the smell again. At checkout the next day, the replacement Room had been left fully open with a Dyson air purifier running at full power, so I assume the staff were aware of the issue. I also saw other Rooms on the same floor being handled in a similar way, which made me feel there may be multiple Rooms affected. I also noticed other Review mentioning a similar “body-odor-like” smell. It’s otherwise a very good Hotel, so I really hope you can identify and address the cause. It might be coming from something in the Room such as the carpet or curtains—it would be such a shame otherwise.

    The Room was very clean.

    I stayed with my mother. The Room was larger than expected, and although we requested twin beds, one was a semi-double and the other was a double. The shower head in the bath was ReFa, and my skin felt smoother than usual. It’s very close to the station—I’ve never stayed at a Hotel that you can enter so quickly from the station exit.

    Convenient access to Chinatown and Minato Mirai.

    Because it is located very close to Sakuragicho Station, it was convenient with easy access to sightseeing spots such as Chinatown and Minato Mirai. It was also nice that the Hotel has Facilities like Starbucks and Seijo Ishii. The Room amenities were easy to use, but although it may be difficult due to the building’s structure, I would like a door for the toilet. There was a great selection of amenities available at the front desk (such as bath salts and tea bags), and I was happy that the Room also had coffee, bottled water, a functional drink, and chocolate prepared. Due to the location, you cannot see Minato Mirai’s night view from the Room, but overall it was a good Hotel in terms of access and service. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    A washing area was provided.

    Despite the economical rate, the bathtub had a built-in step that could be used as a seat, and there was also a separate washing area, which was excellent. The Facility and service were on par with those of a top-class Hotel costing about twice as much. I was able to relax very comfortably. The hospitality was wonderful, and the trip was truly enjoyable.

    Unable to get a comfortable night’s sleep

    (Pros) - Complimentary amenities available for guests to use freely - Rooms are in reasonably good condition - Convenient location near the station with easy access - Helpful luggage storage service (Cons) - Stayed a total of two nights, but the bed was too firm and I couldn’t sleep comfortably - In addition, early-morning train noise made it even harder to sleep well - Even though staff are present, you still have to use self check-in (Overall) I wasn’t able to get proper rest—one of the most important aspects of an Accommodation—which affected my schedule during a hot and humid summer trip to Yokohama.

    Consistently comfortable

    Thank you as always. I really appreciate that the Room TV has been upgraded to a smart TV, making it possible to watch apps and WOWOW. The variety of bath salts has also increased, and the bath towels feel luxurious and are easy to use. Even in a single room, the Room is spacious enough for light stretching. Recently, prices have gone up and it’s been hard to stay as often, but I’d like to use it again during more affordable periods.

    It’s truly comfortable to be able to use the Hotel without being affected by the weather or ending up drenched in sweat. This time I wasn’t feeling very well, so it gave me peace of mind. I’m always grateful. Thank you very much.

    A spacious, home-like bathroom with a full range of amenities

    I used this hotel for a business trip. It is conveniently located right next to JR Sakuragicho Station, with easy access to Minato Mirai, the Red Brick Warehouse area, and the downtown entertainment district. The Room was sufficient for my needs, but what stood out was the bathroom—it was about the size of a standard unit bath, and I could relax in the tub comfortably, almost like bathing at home. The only issue was that the shower head was damaged, but when I contacted them they fixed it immediately. I also noticed the hair dryer looked familiar—and it turned out to be my favorite Dyson dryer. The powerful airflow and fast drying time, without leaving my hair frizzy, felt just like what I’m used to and I was very satisfied. The air purifier was also a Dyson product, though I didn’t use it this time. The price is reasonable as well, and I’d like to stay here again for future business trips to Yokohama.

    Ideal for business trips in Yokohama.

    It’s very close to the station. Check-in and check-out are easy and take only a short time. By booking early, they prepared a Room with a great view for us. The night view was beautiful, overlooking from Landmark Tower to the InterContinental. The bed had a moderately firm mattress, and I slept very well. During our Multiple Night Stay, we received light cleaning service. It was disappointing that half of the bath towels and pajamas were missing, but after contacting them, they responded immediately. I will use this place again when I visit Yokohama.

    I’d like to stay here again.

    The kind assistance when I came to leave my luggage in the morning, the well-stocked amenities, the Room with a separate bath and toilet, the great view from the 11th-floor corner Room, and how quiet it was so I could sleep without being disturbed—everything was a wonderful experience. Breakfast was also great, with options that both bread lovers and rice lovers could enjoy. If I had more room in my stomach, I would have liked to try even more. When I come to Sakuragicho again, I’d love to stay here again.

    You may not need a breakfast voucher....

    Overall, I am very satisfied with the Hotel, but you may not need to book a plan with breakfast included. There is a Starbucks on the second floor, and I think you will be more satisfied having breakfast there.

    It was a great stay.

    I stayed for one night with No Meals Included. Amenities were available to pick up at the front desk, and they even had bath salts. Everything I needed was provided, which I really appreciated. At the front desk, free hot coffee and cocoa were available. The Room had a separate bath and toilet, and there were three towels: a bath towel, a face towel, and a hand towel. The location was great for getting around—perfect for watching baseball at Yokohama Stadium and dining in Sakuragicho. There is a Seijo Ishii on the first floor of the Hotel, which was convenient for picking up snacks and sweets. They also stored my luggage before check-in, which was very helpful. All of the staff were extremely kind. I would definitely like to stay here again next time I visit the Yokohama area. Thank you very much.

    Conveniently located near the station and beautifully maintained.

    This was our first stay as a family of three, and the Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Not being able to adjust the refrigerator temperature, so our drinks didn’t get very cold, was a minor quirk.

    Clean and well-maintained

    The Accommodation was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The massage cushion and the spacious bathroom area were easy to use, making for a pleasant stay. However, it was disappointing that there was a clearly strong lingering body odor, possibly from a previous guest or from the hanging cloth or wallpaper.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    This was my repeat stay. As always, everything I needed was provided, and the hospitality was exceptional. I made full use of the amenities such as bath salts and lotion. I checked in completely soaked after a sudden downpour, but I was able to warm up right away in the Room bath, and the powerful hair dryer even dried my shoes. I also love how close it is to the station, so I’d like to stay here again when I visit Yokohama.

    It was convenient.

    It was close to Minato Mirai, conveniently located near the station, and the Room was clean. The separate bath helped me relax and recover from fatigue. The amenities were well stocked, and the hair dryer was a Dyson, which made drying my hair much faster. The shower head was also a ReFa, which is a nice touch for women. Even at fairly good Hotels, hair dryers can sometimes be disappointing, so I used to bring my own—but this exceeded my expectations in a good way. There were also several types of bath salts available, and I liked being able to choose my favorite. I’ll likely be visiting Yokohama regularly from now on, so I’d like to make this my go-to Accommodation.

    I stayed here for a ...

    I stayed here for a concert at Pacifico Yokohama, and it was convenient—about a 15-minute walk to the venue. I was looking for a Hotel with separate bath and toilet, but here the toilet is not in a separate room; it is in the same space as the changing area. I’ve stayed at various Mets Hotels for their convenience with direct access to JR stations, and the breakfast at the restaurant “Kiteki” here was the best I’ve had so far.

    Musty odor from the bed and bedding due to aging.

    Because my previous stay was very good, this was my second time staying here. The bathroom is separate, so I could relax and unwind, which is why I chose to stay again this time as well. After relaxing in the bath, when I was about to go to sleep, there was a strong musty body odor that made me frown. The pillow and futon smelled so bad that I couldn’t tolerate it. I asked the front desk to replace the pillow and futon, but it still smelled, so they also brought fresh sheets and I changed them myself. Even then, the odor seemed to come up from the mattress… I couldn’t sleep. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, I went out after asking them to thoroughly deodorize the Room while I was away. The smell improved somewhat, but it still bothered me. They had prepared chilled drinks and chocolate for relaxation, but this time it was very disappointing that I couldn’t sleep because of the odor. I think it depends on which Room you get, but although I’ve stayed at many Hotels through IKYU, this was my first experience with such an odor. The location and Facility are great, so I’d like to stay again—but there’s a risk of being assigned another Room with that kind of smell. That’s how I feel after this stay.

    Close to the station, with excellent service.

    The Hotel is located right in front of the Sakuragicho Station New South Exit ticket gates, so it’s convenient and you won’t get wet in the rain. There was a restaurant on the 1st floor that serves as the breakfast venue, and a Starbucks on the 2nd floor. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. There are self check-in/out machines, but staff kindly spoke to me. Near the front desk, there was an impressive selection of amenities—shampoo items, (Japan-made) face masks, Sekkisei toner, emulsion, cleansing oil, facial cleanser, Kao Bub bath tablets, and more—which I really appreciated. Behind the front desk area there were plants and sofas, plus a machine offering free drinks such as coffee and cocoa. The cocoa was perfectly sweet and delicious. Once inside the Room, it didn’t feel small at all. There was also a tray for placing a watch or accessories, which made it easy to keep things organized. The loungewear came as separate top and bottom pieces and was comfortable to wear. Outside the window was a main road, but it was quiet and I slept well. The bathroom and toilet were separate, with a spacious bathtub. Shampoo/conditioner/body soap were provided in bottles. The hair dryer was Dyson. At breakfast, both the floor staff and kitchen staff greeted me warmly—it made for a pleasant start to my day. The Japanese/Western buffet selection was great; I also liked that rice porridge was available. The curry was especially delicious. It’s a wonderful Hotel—I’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Separate bath and toilet for a comfortable stay.

    I chose this Hotel because I wanted a separate bath and toilet. It’s right in front of the JR ticket gates, so you don’t have to worry about getting wet even on rainy days. There was no mold in the bathroom, and I didn’t notice any dusty areas, so it felt very clean and I’d like to stay here again. The Room had a modern, stylish design, and the hair dryer and humidifying air purifier were from good brands. There was a large mirror inside one of the drawers, which was really helpful for doing my makeup. It was also nice that it wasn’t wall-mounted. The amenities included cleansing oil, face wash, toner, and lotion from a well-known brand, so I regretted bringing my own just to reduce luggage (it may have been listed on the website...). I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

    An almost perfect Hotel designed with guests in mind

    As many others have written, this Hotel offered wonderful service and was truly relaxing. Even though it’s a system where you pick up the amenities you need, I was first surprised by how many options there were and how well stocked everything was. They even had face masks, plus a wide selection of bath salts and tea bags. A Dyson hair dryer, a humidifying air purifier, and a ReFa shower head. Inside the stylish refrigerator were GABA products, along with a massage cushion and a Simmons bed. The loungewear was a separate top-and-bottom set as well. It has become one of my favorite Hotels. If I had to ask for just a little more: I’d like body cream among the amenities (especially during the dry season). The bathroom chair is comfortable but quite high, so it’s hard to lean forward when using the wash basin (a 20 cm-high chair would be fine). I’d like a tissue box at the sink (having one only by the bed is inconvenient). Lastly, I was happy that when I tried cocoa from the coffee machine at the front desk area, it wasn’t watery—it tasted like real cocoa.

    I would definitely like to stay here again.

    It was very convenient, located close to Sakuragicho Station. From the Room, we could even see the night view of Sakuragicho and the railway tracks, but it was quiet and we slept well. The bathroom had a separate washing area and bathtub, which was great, but it was a little disappointing that there was no partition door between the washbasin area and the toilet. There were amenities and complimentary drinks as well, so we had a very comfortable stay. If I have the chance again, I would definitely like to stay here.

    Close to the station

    You can enter the Hotel building in less than 10 seconds after exiting the ticket gates. It’s almost directly connected. Incredibly convenient. Seijo Ishii and Starbucks are in the same building. The Room was clean. Amenities are available next to the front desk. The pajamas were a separate set and easy to use. The slippers had some thickness, but felt slightly rough. It’s fine once you get used to them. If that bothers you, please bring your own. The towels were fluffy and felt great. Free drinks are available next to the lobby, and there are comfortable-looking sofas nearby where you can relax with a drink. You can also take the drinks back to your Room. I’d like to stay here again when visiting Sakuragicho. This is a Hotel I can recommend.
