High-grade Dormy Inn
I often stay at Dormy Inn, but this was my first time here. As you’d expect from a Premium property, the facilities are very clean. Given the Ginza location, it felt like a Japanese-modern design with an international touch. The Room was relatively spacious and easy to use, but there was no proper desk, which made it a bit inconvenient for business travel and working on a laptop. The large public bath, dry sauna, and cold plunge were excellent as always, but there is no outdoor relaxation area, and there was only one chair indoors, so it felt slightly lacking for fully unwinding.

For work.
I stayed for one night on a business trip. The Hotel and Room were very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. However, there were a few points that concerned me. First, there was only one trash bin in the Room under the TV, and none near the sink area. As a result, I had to walk to the back of the Room to throw things away multiple times, which was inconvenient. Also, having a mirror under the TV would make it easier to get ready. Many Hotels I’ve stayed at recently have one installed, and since I didn’t bring a tabletop mirror this time, it felt inconvenient. In addition, it was a bit disappointing that internet video streaming services could not be used on the TV in this day and age. Overall, it was a clean and comfortable Hotel, but with some improvements to the Facility features, I think it would be an even more satisfying stay.

The breakfast was excellent.
This was my first stay. The breakfast was excellent. The bath area was too crowded, so I couldn’t relax much. The room was clean as well. The location is outstanding! Thank you for your hospitality.

As always, it’s excellent.
As always, it was excellent. I stayed for two nights again this time, and it’s very convenient with both Higashi-Ginza Station and Tsukiji Shijo Station nearby. I spoke to the staff at mealtimes and when finishing. Their cheerful voices really energize me from the morning. The Room, bath, and service are all great. I will stay again—thank you in advance.

The in-house loungew...
The in-house loungewear had an unusually bad odor, and I had to go all the way to the front desk to get it replaced. Even though it was before check-out time, a cleaner entered the Room without permission.

Breakfast
I loved both the Onsen and the sauna. The spacious bath had an ice water pillow, which helped cool my head and allowed me to stay longer. The complimentary late-night soba was a nice touch. However, the salad at breakfast was disappointing as the cut edges of the lettuce were turning red. The multi-port charger rental was convenient, and the staff were very polite. I would love to stay again, but I hope for some improvement in the food quality.

Satisfied.
You can relax comfortably as you take off your shoes and enjoy the tatami flooring, just like in a Ryokan. The large public bath and nighttime ramen are consistently excellent services. However, there weren't many manga available.

Authentic Onsen Accommodation in Ginza
I stayed in a Standard Room with No Meals Included. The entrance, surrounded by water and greenery, was not luxurious but gave a relaxing impression. Check-in and check-out were very simple, without the need to fill out detailed forms or receive Receipts in envelopes, which I appreciated. Since the room did not have an indoor bath, I headed straight to the large public bath after checking in. It was clean, spacious, and not crowded at all, allowing me to relax completely. The room wear provided was comfortable; however, some may find it slightly breezy—bringing a T-shirt might be a good idea. Also, there were no socks provided; I regretted not bringing my own. One disappointment was regarding dinner information during check-in. When I asked about dinner options at that time, I was told that "the dining area is only open for breakfast." However later in the evening when visiting for night ramen service at the dining area, I found out that "during daytime hours it is open for guests to enjoy coffee freely." If this had been mentioned earlier during check-in, I would have gone there for coffee—it felt like a missed opportunity (I initially thought other guests holding paper cups had bought drinks from nearby cafes). Aside from this and occasional elevator congestion during peak times making it slow to arrive—the stay overall exceeded expectations! Next time I'd love to book a room with its own bath!

Bath
I often use this chain. Since it offers natural Onsen, I enjoy using the large public bath, but at this location, I noticed that some guests, possibly foreign visitors, leave used towels behind. The worst was finding them even on top of the water dispenser. It might be partly because the Hotel does not provide a collection box and asks guests to take their towels back to their Room.

Please note that pajamas are not provided.
The bed could have been a bit bigger, but the late-night snack and breakfast were delicious, making it a great Hotel. My husband almost went to the public bath wearing only the top of his pajamas, wondering if it was okay. Luckily, we noticed pants hanging separately on the dresser just in time. When I went to the public bath later, I saw someone else about to leave wearing only their pajama top and pulling at its hem! When I mentioned "pants," they returned to get dressed properly. It might be better if pajamas were hung together on one hanger, folded on the bed, or if the top was made longer (laughs).

Dormy is always a great choice.
Bath, nighttime soba, post-bath ice cream—Dormy Inn was truly wonderful.

Relax in tranquility in Ginza. Enjoy the charm of a large public bath with a courtyard!
A new Hotel opening in 2024, offering exceptionally clean facilities and Rooms. Located in the heart of Ginza, it provides a quiet stay despite being in the city center. The large public bath features a courtyard, creating a wonderful atmosphere. However, to access the courtyard from the bath, you need to pass through the bathing area, which might make some guests feel self-conscious. This was the only downside. The Room was clean and comfortable, with great services like Dormy Inn's signature late-night ramen. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay at an affordable and excellent Hotel in Ginza.

Public Bath
I have stayed at the group's Hotel several times and found it comfortable, but it is disappointing to see that tattooed Chinese guests are allowed to bathe, even during the peak of inbound tourism.

Favorite Accommodation in Tokyo
I stayed here two years ago and was very impressed with the room interior, meals, and location, so I decided to book again for this business trip. There were many Asian guests, and while some spoke a bit loudly in the Onsen, the overall atmosphere was refined compared to other places. I checked in at 11 PM and checked out at 10 AM, so I couldn't relax much. However, I love the comforting room interior. And the breakfast was amazing! The seafood bento box was a delightful surprise, and the rice was incredibly fresh and delicious. I would love to stay here again when my budget allows it.

Beloved Dormy
I love Dormy Inn. As expected, the Ginza location was premium. There was an open-air bath on the top floor. When it rained, there was nothing to block the rain, so I bathed while feeling the raindrops. If the entire top were covered, you wouldn't be able to see the sky on sunny days, but I thought it would be nice to have something like a bamboo screen over just the entrance side to shield from rain. However, being able to enjoy an open-air bath in Ginza felt like a luxurious experience. The Room was very clean, and with a large TV, I had a comfortable stay. The meals were excellent as always—needless to say—and of course, their signature night ramen was fantastic too. Once again, I had a happy time at my favorite Dormy Inn. Thank you very much!

I stayed in a single...
I stayed in a single room for two nights. The room was not too small, and the unique Dormy Inn design with the sink next to the bedroom made it very comfortable. The Onsen, though compact, is amazing considering its location in Ginza. I would love to stay here again for my future business trips to Tokyo!

As wonderful as the reviews say.
I stayed at the accommodation to visit Kabukiza. The positive reviews raised my expectations, and the result was an absolutely wonderful hotel. What stood out the most was the food. As many others have mentioned, the quality of breakfast was astonishingly high. The seafood box was exceptional, fried items were freshly made and crispy, and there was even an egg station. The late-night ramen was also prepared carefully by the staff and tasted simple yet delicious. There’s a drink bar as well—everything you could ask for! I thought it offered excellent value for money. The only downside was finding a strand of hair in the pants of the in-room wear provided. Without that, it would have been perfect. Next time, I’d love to stay with my family in a room with a cypress bath. Looking forward to visiting again!

I stayed here for consecutive events in Tokyo. The staff provided excellent and courteous service as always. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

I have stayed at various places, but this is the finest Hotel.
A top-class Hotel with excellent dining, baths, and location. Close to the subway and direct access from Haneda Airport. Quiet environment and reasonably priced for Ginza. When staying in Tokyo, I always check availability here first. The staff is also great!

Hotel with an Exquisite Breakfast Buffet
The breakfast is truly delicious. I was surprised to enjoy such a well-thought-out and tasty meal at this price in Tokyo. The staff preparing the food looked confident and lively while serving it. I will make a Reservation again when visiting Tokyo.

Natural Onsen in the Heart of the City
The bath and sauna were very comfortable. The distinctive jet-black Onsen brought in from Chiba was especially pleasant. I used it several times during my stay. Additionally, the open-air bath attached to the Room had plenty of hot water, making me feel luxurious. It was very comfortable. The services such as drinks, tea snacks, and ice cream were also excellent. Of course, there was also night soba (ramen). I would like to use it again.

Comfortable and excellent!
This is our second stay. We often use hotels in Tokyo, especially around the Ginza area, but this property is a dream come true for us as it has an onsen and free drinks. The premium floor allows you to take off your shoes and walk barefoot in the room, and the freedom to move around the property in loungewear and slippers is very precious. During our previous stay, we were handed a "Seafood Tamatebako" without asking, which was not to our liking and was bothersome, but this time it has improved so that we can choose according to our preference. Although breakfast doesn't have many varieties, everything tasted delicious. As I mentioned in my previous review, I would love for them to add curry. I suffer from stiff back muscles and my wife has hip issues, so it's wonderful that warming up in the onsen seems to alleviate our pain significantly. It really warms up your body. After using a hand towel at the onsen, you can simply put it into the collection box and get a new one at the front desk if you ask. You can take drinks from the drink bar back to your room as well; there are also vending machines inside so there's no hassle of getting drinks from convenience stores. The premium floor offers some snacks like sweets or beer and juice which makes us feel more relaxed. We couldn't try "Yonaki Soba" last time but managed this time; both taste and portion were just right. If we have any business around Ginza again, we've agreed with my wife that we'll definitely choose this hotel again. It seems like word about how good this hotel is spreading because reservations are becoming harder (especially for premium floors), plus inbound tourism seems to be driving accommodation costs up which worries me slightly—I hope services won't be reduced due these changes! Thank you very much for letting us through even though it was before check-in time since rooms were ready—it helped greatly as we were tired! Special thanks go out too all staff members who proactively assisted with operating check-in/check-out machines!

It is necessary to improve the understanding of the breakfast service staff.
The Room accommodates three people, and while they may not all go downstairs for a meal at the same time, the receptionist was completely unaware of this! Or could it be due to a language barrier?

I do not understand ...
I do not understand why the Hotel requested payment again even though I had already paid online before Reserving the Room. It took two interactions for the counter staff to understand.

Around Ginza
I think it's a relatively affordable Stays with a sauna around Ginza! There are many tourists, but since overseas visitors don't seem to have much of a bath culture, the sauna and large public bath were relatively empty.

Perfect for solo travelers
I chose this Hotel for its location and cost performance to watch a play alone, but it was great that there was an Onsen in the city center, and I could enter even in the sleepless middle of the night. After bathing, Garigari-kun ice candy was served, and when I ate the strawberry one, it was delicious, so I had a second helping of the soda one. I wanted to eat night soba too, but I was tired and fell asleep, which was a shame. There is also a small library, which I think is nice for a solo trip to relax. The staff were also kind, and I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Elevator
The waiting time for the elevator is long, so perhaps the operation settings could be reviewed... It's a shame that the bathing manners of foreign guests are disappointing despite the nice large public bath. I think it would be helpful to have a more easily understandable explanation. The Room was clean and nice.

The night soba is incredibly delicious.
This was my second time staying at Dormy Inn, but my first time at a premium one. The Room was a single, so it wasn't different from a regular Dormy Inn, but the breakfast was excellent. There were many items, and I thought the quality was high. And speaking of Dormy Inn, the night soba is the best. It's simple, but the broth is great and delicious. I want to stay again just for this.

Premium Hotel Life
It was a long-awaited impressive Hotel. During my trip to Nagasaki, I was satisfied with the Hotel that impressed me with its scenery, and during my last stay in Tokyo, I was impressed by the location of the long-established Hotel with a full view of Tokyo Tower from the window. This time, Dormy Inn honestly had some drawbacks as it was not on the subway line I usually use. But that's a secondary matter. Anyway, the cleanliness I expect from a Hotel! The special feeling of the top floor Room! They fulfilled that. Since I was sharing the Room with my daughter and her husband, the position of the beds allowed each of us to sleep without worrying about each other's gaze. Moreover, with a triple Room including a simple bed, there was no need to worry about who sleeps on which bed, and we relieved our travel fatigue on the wonderfully comfortable beds. The Room temperature was comfortable without using indoor heating, possibly because the inside of the building was warm, protecting us from the dryness of heating. We also enjoyed the Onsen while being in Ginza. Indeed, as other Reviews mentioned, there are only eight washing areas, so you may have to wait during busy times, but you just need to accept it. There is also a sauna, a ReFa hairdryer, and amenities by POLA, providing impeccable service. The in-house Room wear is also stylish. The ice cream after bathing and the delicious night soba! Although it's a free service, everyone is considerate and doesn't take excessive amounts home, contributing to maintaining the Hotel's service. The beer and snack service, a perk of the top floor Room, includes three types of Coedo beer, which is luxurious. Regarding important hospitality, the front desk staff are all kind. In other Hotels, they tend to ignore you during self-check-in, but at this Hotel, they stand by your side, ready to assist. Additionally, since the Room is barefoot, you need to wipe the suitcase casters, but I was impressed when the front desk staff bent down and wiped them with a cloth during check-in! In conclusion, I was completely satisfied both mentally and physically at Dormy Inn, and I understood why there are core fans of Dormy Inn. I want to stay at Dormy Inn Hotel again next time!
