    Sadako?

    The location is great. It’s close to the bus terminal, and the streetcar stop is right in front. The Hotel entrance is inside an arcade, so you won’t get wet in the rain. There are plenty of convenience stores and other shops nearby. Regarding luggage storage before check-in, it’s self-service, but there are lockers with keys and ropes, which was convenient. After sightseeing, I came back and entered my Room. Small! But since it’s a Business Hotel, I accepted that and walked further in… There were nearly 10 long hairs on the bed! What? Wasn’t it cleaned? I looked again and again. It was too unpleasant, so I called the front desk: “There’s a lot of hair on the bed.” “Yes.” “… ” “…” “Okay” isn’t an appropriate response—shouldn’t they immediately offer a solution? (For example: “We’ll come check,” or “We’ll prepare another Room.”) In the end, they prepared a different, larger Room for me, which was good (there was enough space to open two suitcases; in the original Room that would have been impossible). However, there was also hair on top of the toilet lid in that Room… I decided not to complain over just one hair. Breakfast was delicious. I had the Akaushi mini burger shown on their website twice. They also had taipi-en, a small ramen portion, ikinari dango, and karashi renkon—so I could try various local dishes. That part was great, but the negative impression from finding hair was far too strong.

    Sake Tasting Trip

    On June 8, my spouse and I met friends from Kumamoto and had a great time eating and drinking together. They upgraded our Room to a higher grade, and my sauna-loving husband was very satisfied. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Highly recommended.

    The location was great, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service, the Room was stylish, the bath was comfortable, and there was a wide selection of welcome drinks—there were no drawbacks.

    Kumamoto Sightseeing

    This was my first stay. What left the biggest impression was the breakfast. Not only was it delicious, but there was also a wide variety, and the staff’s cheerful greetings helped me start the day off right! Kumamoto Castle is within walking distance, and Sakuramachi Kumamoto is right in front. I wasn’t able to take my time exploring this trip, but I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kumamoto. There is an underground parking lot nearby, and I didn’t find it inconvenient. Both the Room and the bathroom were clean, but I noticed that the knob for the Room’s bath/toilet door was dirty. (It wouldn’t come off even when wiped—possibly hair dye?) There were welcome drinks and a space to read manga as well, so overall I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

    First Visit

    I stayed at a different Hotel than usual. It was just off the main street, right in the entertainment district, and I had no inconveniences at all. The best part was that they put effort into breakfast, so I really enjoyed it. There were quite a few international guests, but it didn’t bother me. I’m not sure if it was only my Room, but there was still quite a strong smell from the previous male guest... That said, I’m looking forward to staying again next time.

    It was convenient and comfortable.

    This was my first stay, and the Hotel is located in an arcade right by the Karashimacho tram stop, so I could get there with hardly getting wet even in sudden rain, which was a big help. After check-in, the welcome drinks were unlimited, and when I entered the Room, the bed was spacious. Because of that, the Room has only a shower, but the large public bath was roomy and also had a sauna, making it very comfortable. In a Business Hotel Room you’re usually on the bed most of the time anyway, so having a bigger bed is definitely more comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also well stocked, and there’s a proper coin laundry on site—this Business Hotel was the perfect choice for me.

    Convenient Location

    Conveniently located just steps away from Kumamoto Castle Hall. Parking is available across one traffic light. The breakfast staff were polite and attentive. The outdoor bath's tub surface was rough, which made it a bit uncomfortable to relax fully.

    The location is excellent.

    The entrance faces an arcade shopping street with multiple drugstores and restaurants nearby. Kumamoto Castle is also close, making it very convenient with excellent transportation access. We parked at the "Pursuit 24 Karashima Park Parking Lot," which allows free entry and exit for cars. To complete the procedure for free entry and exit, you need to park your car first, take the parking ticket to the hotel front desk to receive a proof of stay, and then bring it to the parking lot management office. At the front desk, they only provided directions to the parking lot without mentioning this procedure, which felt slightly inconvenient.

    I want to make this my regular accommodation.

    I live in Kumamoto City, but I stayed here because I wanted to rest immediately after a gathering. I usually stay at another hotel, but since the price had doubled, I decided to use this accommodation. The room was clean and, above all, very quiet. The soft drink service was also great. Thank you for the upgrade as well.

    Excellent

    I previously stayed at Vessel hotels in Okinawa and Matsuyama, and this time in Kumamoto was also excellent. The breakfast was very delicious, and the staff's service was exceptional, allowing me to have a pleasant stay.

    I chose this Hotel b...

    I chose this Hotel because it is close to Kumamoto Castle Hall and very clean. It was the perfect choice. The bathwater was a bit lukewarm since I used it late at night, which was slightly disappointing. The breakfast had so many options that I couldn't finish everything, and I was very satisfied. If I visit Kumamoto again, I would love to stay here. Thank you!

    There was only one disappointment.

    Overall, my stay was pleasant (location, bath, amenities, etc.), but when I requested a rental item at the front desk around 9 PM, an elderly male staff member responded in an unpleasant tone when I said, "May I borrow ○○?" This unfortunately overshadowed all the positive aspects of my stay. I would appreciate it if staff could maintain awareness of providing customer service. I am sharing this feedback for improvement and look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you.

    The Akaushi burger was delicious. I believe it was advertised as being made entirely from ingredients sourced in Kumamoto Prefecture—can you confirm this? It would be great if disposable indoor slippers were available for purchase at the front desk.

    Breakfast and the large public bath are good, but...

    I chose this Hotel in Kumamoto because I had a great experience staying at other hotels in the Vessel Hotel chain. The public bath was clean, had a courtyard-like design, and was well-equipped with ReFa hair dryers. The breakfast offered a variety of local dishes, which was very satisfying. Regarding the Room, the first one I was assigned to had a spider in the sink area. When I reported it to the front desk, they kindly arranged for a room change. Their response was polite and much appreciated. However, in the next Room, there was an issue with loud noises coming from the refrigerator. The noise was so disruptive that I couldn't sleep well and eventually had to turn it off. Unfortunately, this affected my rest significantly. It would be great if such issues could be inspected beforehand. Additionally, it seemed like the walls were thin as I could hear conversations (not work-related but casual chatter) from cleaning staff early in the morning along with loud cleaning noises. This disrupted my rest even though check-out time is 11:00 AM. While both the public bath and breakfast were excellent highlights of my stay, these two points were disappointing. Since these are areas that can be improved upon easily for such a wonderful Hotel overall, I hope they will address them soon!

    The food is perfect.

    Room: Smaller than expected, which might be inconvenient for those with large luggage. The air conditioning, toilet, lighting, and washbasin were modern and well-maintained. However, despite being designed by a renowned designer, it felt like an ordinary business hotel without much uniqueness. Public Bath: Plenty of washing stations and an outdoor bath for relaxation. However, the Mirable showerhead and Refa hairdryer were difficult to use; standard options would be preferable. Breakfast: A variety of Kumamoto specialties are available, making it hard to choose what to eat. The menu doesn’t seem to change much daily. Beverage quality is comparable to that of a manga café level. Location: Very convenient for going out—close to the city tram stop, next door to a convenience store, near the bus center, and within an arcade area. Overall: Honestly fell short of expectations compared to reviews online. Additionally (not the hotel's fault), most guests were Chinese tourists who were noisy and lacked manners in shared areas like elevators, hallways, or the public bathhouse. Choose your accommodation carefully!

    Very satisfied with the well-thought-out facilities and services!

    The search hit because having a large public bath was the top priority. Although it is not an Onsen, the semi-open-air bath was very satisfying! Unlimited manga reading, ReFa hair iron rentals, and Mirable shower heads were also impressive! The location is very convenient, right at the entrance of the arcade, making it easy to take a train for sightseeing or go out for dinner. The partnered parking lot is also nearby. Breakfast included many delicious local Kumamoto dishes. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    Clean, comfortable, and offers excellent services.

    Conveniently located near Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, close to Kumamoto Castle and the central Shimotori and Kamitori shopping streets. The interior is very clean, with a variety of amenities including welcome drinks, a manga corner, and more. The large public bath features a traditional cauldron-style bath for an open-air feel, a mist sauna, and ReFa hair dryers. Breakfast offers a wide selection of local specialties such as Taipien soup noodles, tonkotsu ramen, and Akaushi beef burgers that you can enjoy at your own pace without crowds. Although this stay was for business purposes, it’s such a wonderful Hotel that I’d love to use it for sightseeing as well!

    For sightseeing in Kumamoto

    Stayed here after a live event at Grandmesse Kumamoto. Conveniently located near the bus terminal and in an arcade area with plenty of restaurants, drugstores, and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, and the large public bath with a semi-open-air section was relaxing. In the evening, it could get crowded with families, making it hard to find an open washing area, but mornings were much more peaceful for soaking. Breakfast was delightful; making your own Akaushi beef burger was warm and delicious. Other local specialties like Ikinari Dango and Taipien were also available, which made for a satisfying meal. The lounge had free drinks and manga to enjoy at your leisure—perfect for a relaxed stay. Kumamon Village is also nearby; I’d love to visit there next time!

    Clean and bright interiors and guest rooms with a white-based design. The large public bath is equipped with Dyson hair dryers and neatly arranged amenities, ensuring a comfortable experience. Breakfast features specialties from Kumamoto, making it the most delicious breakfast I've ever had at a Business Hotel. This Hotel showcases thoughtful hospitality in every detail.

    I had a very pleasant stay.

    One person fell ill the day before, and we were able to Change the Reservation. Check-in on the day was also handled smoothly. The Facility, including book rental service, welcome drinks, and large public bath, was excellent. The breakfast buffet included local Kumamoto dishes and was very delicious. The location was convenient for dinner and sightseeing the next day. I would definitely like to use this place again when visiting Kumamoto. Thank you very much!

    The large public bath and sauna are excellent!

    I used it for the first time because of its high ratings. As a result, I was very satisfied. The Facility felt well-equipped due to cost-cutting measures, but it would be perfect if it were slightly cheaper.

    It was a simple and good Hotel!

    The Room and Facility are simple and clean. Initially, the non-smoking room was located on a smoking floor, but upon requesting a change, the staff kindly accommodated us by changing the floor. Their customer service was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding. In addition to the regular buffet, there were various options such as mustard lotus root and local burgers, all of which were very delicious.

    It is necessary to provide at least a basic explanation of the Facility on the site.

    No bathtub in the Room! Is this a Japanese Hotel? It seems to be a Hotel made for foreigners, but if Japanese people are also going to use it, at least the site should explain that there are Rooms without bathtubs. For Japanese people over their 40s, soaking in a warm bath is essential. This is the first Facility of its kind in Japan. Indeed, upon entering the Hotel, I felt that about 60% were Korean, 20-30% were Japanese, and then others. It was quite an unpleasant Facility.

    The only concern was the smell of the Room.

    I was looking forward to my stay after seeing the high Review ratings. From the moment of arrival, everything was comfortable, and the smiles and service of all the staff were wonderful. The large public bath I was looking forward to had both face towels and bath towels available, and both the washing area and bath were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast included a 100% red beef hamburger that was so delicious I ended up having seconds; all other dishes were also tasty (the potato salad was especially to my liking) making it a highly satisfying meal. The location is convenient, making for a very pleasant stay in Kumamoto. The only disappointment was the smell in the Room. I'm not sure what it smelled like, but there was a strong odor that couldn't be removed even with air freshener sprayed throughout the Room. After setting the air purifier to high and spraying thoroughly on curtains, it finally felt somewhat settled down. Although we spent most of our time outside sightseeing, it felt slightly disappointing not being able to relax indoors. Other than that, everything about this Hotel was great so next time I think I'll make a Reservation for a different type of Room.
