Cleaning could be improved.
Overall, Vessel Inn’s Room cleaning was lacking. As noted in the Review, I was surprised that the carpet stains were still widespread. I also noticed hair on the floor and felt the unit bath was dated, but it’s unrealistic to expect Japanese-level quality from foreign staff, so if you can accept that, it’s fine. The Room, bed, interior design, layout, loungewear, and everything else were good—and the duck was cute. Breakfast was also very delicious. Thank you for the complimentary drinks.

Close to the station and a welcome drink
Although it was the day before a typhoon, we had a very comfortable stay. The cute duck in the bathroom was very soothing. We would love to stay again.

Excellent value for the price.
This was my first time staying at this accommodation. The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find, but I located it quickly. I parked my car in the rear parking lot and walked to the hotel. Since I exited from the rear bicycle parking area, it took slightly longer than exiting from the front. First-time visitors might find this confusing. I took the elevator to the 10th floor reception for check-in, which was handled by a foreign female staff member. The process was quick and polite, with excellent customer service overall. The receptionist mentioned that breakfast would be crowded tomorrow morning, so I went at 7:00 AM and found only four people inside—it was very comfortable. There were many food options including curry rice, tuna sashimi, negitoro (minced tuna with green onion), grated yam for seafood bowls in the morning! Desserts like jarred pudding were also available; breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable. The breakfast venue on the 10th floor had glass walls offering great views—truly wonderful scenery—but felt slightly small in size. By around 7:30 AM, however, it became fully packed with many foreign tourists making it lively and bustling. The availability of seats may depend on luck depending on timing. As for my room: compact but sufficient for one person’s use—cleanliness stood out! Pajamas were provided as a separate set which I greatly appreciated too! Amenities are placed near reception on the 10th floor; don’t forget to bring them back up yourself since even toothbrushes aren’t pre-stocked inside rooms—please take note! The bathroom/toilet is combined into one unit where sitting down meant knees touched either wall or bathtub due its narrowness—but manageable nonetheless given cleanliness standards upheld well here too. Television offered free access regular movies—a convenient feature while Wi-Fi seemed slightly weak though still functional enough not causing major issues overall. A high-end Balmuda kettle added luxury touch alongside indirect lighting under fridge creating stylish ambiance throughout space despite being compact-sized business hotel accommodations nearby station location proving value-for-money amidst rising industry costs lately observed elsewhere regionally speaking comparatively affordable pricing efforts commendable indeed! The best beds!
I used this place during my child's move. The bed was very comfortable, and the complimentary ochazuke service was excellent!

The Hotel staff were...
The Hotel staff were all very polite and kind. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the nighttime service of ochazuke and ice candy, which I didn't know about. The breakfast was also very delicious. One disappointing point was that the walls were thin, so the noise from other Rooms could be heard quite loudly, and I couldn't adjust the air conditioning temperature. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

Relax and Stay Longer
We stayed for four nights and had a very comfortable stay as it is conveniently located near the station. The lobby provided amenities and tea, which was very convenient. The lounge on the 10th floor offered a great view, including a beautiful sight of Mount Fuji. The breakfast buffet had various options available from early morning, and everything was delicious. The Room was clean, hot water came out quickly, and the bed was comfortable. Thank you very much!
