    I was satisfied!

    As a long-established Hotel in front of Ashiya Station, it’s not often I get the chance to stay here, but this time I’ll be out late near Ashiya Station, so I made a Reservation because I definitely wanted to stay. I was very satisfied with the wonderful hospitality, the lounge room, the Room, and the well-stocked amenities. I’d love to stay again when I have the opportunity. Thank you in advance for your kind support at that time.

    I stayed here while ...

    I stayed here while visiting my hometown. I had visited the restaurant before, but this was my first time staying overnight. It is a calm, historic Hotel conveniently located near the station. The night view from the bar was wonderful, and I would like to visit again.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I was able to relax and enjoy a very comfortable stay in the Room. All of the staff were very kind, and both the front desk team and housekeeping greeted me politely whenever we passed in the hallways or elevators. I felt this Hotel was welcoming not only because of the Room, but also because of the warm hospitality.

    A Hotel that feels like relaxing in your own living room

    I really like this Hotel and stay here several times a year. It is more comfortable to spend time at Chikuzono Hotel than at my parents’ home, and I am always grateful for your hospitality. With the large public bath, complimentary cocktail service, breakfast buffet, complimentary croquettes, and many other thoughtful touches, I can relax and enjoy my stay. The view of Mt. Rokko from the Room is also very beautiful and soothing. I’m looking forward to my next stay.

    Ryokan hospitality with Hotel Facilities

    I stayed here for the first time the other day. I used to stop by Ashiya only to enjoy shopping at Takezono Butcher and a certain cake shop and bakery, but this time I decided to make a Reservation and stay overnight. True to its reputation, I was able to relax very comfortably thanks to the warm hospitality and the spacious, comfortable Room. I am truly grateful. The breakfast was also wonderful—I ate too much. I’m happy to have found a Hotel that’s perfect when you want to unwind a little instead of just rushing through. I look forward to staying again.

    The Hotel is amazing! Aimyon is amazing!

    I stayed here for an Aimyon concert. I stayed for two consecutive nights, and the staff’s service and thoughtful care were truly wonderful. The Room was spacious, and the bath was large enough to stretch out in comfortably, which was very relaxing. At lunch, there were many excellent menu items, including meat dishes comparable to dinner, but I wasn’t able to try them this time. If I have the chance next time, I definitely want to. Thank you to IKYU and everyone at the Hotel.

    In-room towels

    We always enjoy staying here, and the service and the public bath on the 9th floor are excellent, but… In this Room, there were two face towels provided; one was white, but the other had a very disappointing color and texture… Everything else was great, though… We would like to stay again, so we would appreciate it if you could check them before placing them in the Room.

    It was great.

    The Room was clean and quiet... I was able to relax and unwind! There is also a large public bath, which helped relieve my fatigue. I’d like to stay again! The meals might have been a bit too much (lol). I didn’t want to waste any food, so I’d be happy if there were an option for smaller portions.

    The Best Place to Stay in Ashiya

    The room is always in perfect condition, and I really appreciate it. I keep coming back again and again.

    Avoid smoking Rooms.

    I stayed for 2 nights, but I couldn’t book a Multiple Night Stay in a non-smoking Room, so I stayed one night in a non-smoking Room and one night in a smoking Room. I called in advance to ask how strong the smell would be and was told there was almost no odor, so I made the Reservation. Even after telling the front desk again that I’m sensitive to cigarette smoke, I was disappointed when I entered the Room. There was clearly a cigarette smell; even with the air purifier on maximum it didn’t go away, and I kept spraying something like Febreze. I was also told there is a large public bath, but it’s quite small—three people is about the maximum—so depending on the time of day you may not be able to use it. Since most Hotels no longer have smoking Rooms, I can only wonder why this Hotel still does.

    We had a very comfortable stay.

    Although it’s nearby, this was my first time staying overnight, and I was able to relax and enjoy a restful stay. Dinner was especially good. I also enjoyed unwinding in the lounge after the bath. Breakfast was quiet on a weekday, but I was bothered by guests using their mobile phones at their tables.

    Everything is in place. Wonderful.

    Thank you as always. We truly appreciate the thoughtful support from the front desk at check-in, the cleanliness of the Room, the well-stocked amenities, and the excellent mattress and pillows. The breakfast is also wonderful, and the miso soup is served piping hot. This is a Hotel we love.

    It was my first time, but it was great.

    This was my first stay while considering Accommodation in the Kansai area for a theater visit. It is right in front of Ashiya Station, making dining and shopping very convenient. Overall it feels compact, but it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, and what I especially appreciated was that the oranges and grapefruits were neatly peeled so I could eat them without getting my hands dirty. I imagine it takes time and effort, but I really enjoyed them. One small thing I noticed: the female staff were very pleasant, but the male staff didn’t seem to greet guests as much. Even so, it was convenient and clean, so I would like to stay again.

    Gentle Smiles & Comfort

    Due to Shinkansen connections, I arrived for check-in late at night. The warm welcome was truly comforting after a long day. There was no bathtub—only a shower—but the strong water flow made it possible to take a thorough shower, which was far more comfortable than waiting for a tub to fill. I believe this was also thanks to being informed and asked to confirm it at the time of Reservation. The complimentary souvenir (giveaway) from Takezono butcher shop—the croquettes—was delicious.

    This is a very good Hotel.

    Directly connected to Ashiya Station, it is in a very convenient location close to Osaka and Sannomiya. The Hotel was clean, had a large bath, and the Room was spacious and very comfortable. Thank you very much. I will stay again.

    It is a good Hotel.

    This is a good Hotel with excellent convenience, located right in front of JR Ashiya Station. I stayed in a twin Room; it was well cleaned and comfortable. The staff were also very helpful. However, I would like to see improvements to the breakfast selection. In particular, there were too few vegetables and fruits, which felt disappointing. The bread was also dry. I hope they can offer a breakfast buffet comparable to those at recent Business Hotels.

    The Facility and service are excellent. However, compared to that, this Hotel’s breakfast is disappointing, so I skip it every time. Given the location, they should reconsider the pricing, portion size, and quality.

    Thank you as always for taking such great care of us at my husband’s favorite place. This time, I stayed with a friend for a Multiple Night Stay. The Room was well cleaned, and we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful time at the 9th-floor bath and lounge—thank you very much. It’s always a great change of pace, and we truly appreciate it.     A quiet Hotel that captures the charm of Ashiya

    A quiet Hotel conveniently located in front of JR Ashiya Station. I was able to relax in the large public bath and rest comfortably in the spacious Room. Exploring Ashiya is also recommended on holidays. It’s a bit of a walk, but you can also access the Hanshin and Hankyu lines, so getting around is easy. I would like to stay here again next time. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Completely satisfied with everything.

    This was my first stay. I chose it simply because it was close to my mother’s house, but the room was clean and the amenities were satisfying. I could also enjoy a quiet cup of tea in the lounge, and while the large public bath isn’t very big, it was well cleaned. Breakfast was delicious, with items like Kobe beef and croquettes. The bed had just the right firmness, and I slept well. I’d be happy to stay again if I have the chance.

    Relaxing, spotless, and truly top-class service. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on its regular day off, so we couldn’t use it. We also didn’t get a chance to use the large public bath—looking forward to next time.

    We stayed twice duri...

    We stayed twice during our child’s entrance exams. We were extremely satisfied the first time, so we chose Takezono again for our next stay. The Room, breakfast, and service were all outstanding—an excellent Hotel in every respect. Our child even said they want to stay at Takezono again whenever we visit Kobe. As you would expect from a place that also runs a butcher shop, the roast beef and Kobe beef curry at the breakfast buffet were delicious, and we started the day completely satisfied. It is directly connected to the station, so access is very convenient.

    Resort in Ashiya

    Stay in a twin room on weekends and enjoy free drinks at the 9th-floor lounge from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Savor beer or local sake while admiring the stunning view of Mount Rokko. Additionally, on weekends and holidays, the large public bath is available from 6:00 AM, making your weekend trip to Kansai even more fulfilling. We appreciate the warm hospitality of the hotel staff.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    When I have plans nearby and some flexibility in my schedule, I stay here to relax. The location is convenient near the station, yet the hotel is quiet inside. Spacious, clean, and well-maintained rooms make it very comfortable and relaxing. I travel by car, and the large parking lot eliminates any worries about finding a spot.
