  Fair enough.

  Kanazawa is popular among foreign visitors. This Hotel mainly had Western guests. For breakfast, Japanese guests were seated in a corner, but it was better than eating next to the noisy crowd. Breakfast was pre-prepared on small plates and placed on a heating plate. It felt more hygienic than serving yourself, and the food stayed hot, which was great. Photo attached. The Room is slightly old-fashioned, and the bathroom is within the Room only, but there are no issues. It seems that hotels and restaurants have shifted from Katamachi or Korinbo towards the station area, making it feel less crowded at night.

  The age of the facility and equipment...

  The Facility is registered on IKYU.com, so I made the Reservation with confidence, but I was disappointed by the outdated Facility and equipment. The equipment was old and difficult to use, many of the amenities were damaged, and the Room cleaning seemed insufficient, which did not meet my expectations. The sleepwear had noticeable fraying, and breakfast replenishment was slow, making it feel like poor value for money. Although located in a central area, it is not facing the main street, leaving a disappointing impression contrary to the grandeur of its Hotel name.

  Use the Hotel

  Due to the season in December, the accommodation day was rainy. It was unfortunate as it is within walking distance to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and Kenrokuen Garden if it hadn't rained. Breakfast on the 12th floor with a view of autumn leaves was excellent. I enjoyed a bit of Kanazawa's charm in a short time.

However, the winter weather in Kanazawa can often be harsh. It seems that your stay coincided with unfavorable weather conditions, which is truly unfortunate.
