    The service was disappointing.

    I stayed at this hotel for the first time for 4 nights. I felt that the service was not considerate towards those in need. I won't mention names, but there was a man with an expressionless demeanor. It made me think this is just a cheap accommodation after all. I will never stay here again.

    I had a comfortable stay without any issues. When I arrived early and asked to leave my luggage, I was informed that check-in was possible, so I could place my belongings in the Room, which was very helpful. Thank you very much. I would like to use this service again.

    Breakfast Buffet

    The variety of dishes is not extensive, and the taste is average, but the space is wide and comfortable. There was no place to put the lid of the rice container for Fukagawa-meshi, which was inconvenient.

    The elevator is causing all the issues...

    I don't think I will use this place again. The main reason is the limited number of elevators, which causes stress for everything. During busy times like mornings and evenings, you may have to wait nearly 10 minutes for an elevator. Other points are as follows: - The room is a standard APA style with reliable quality. - Having a large public bath is a plus point. The Meiji milk provided there is also delicious. However, since the bath is located in the basement, it creates congestion as people going to the bath and other floors share the same elevators, making it feel like a negative point. Wouldn't it be better to place it on the top or middle floors? - Having Lawson on the second floor is very convenient. However, this also means that elevators frequently stop at the second floor for Lawson visitors, which can be frustrating just like with the public bath situation.

    Luxurious Spa

    I chose this accommodation for its convenient access to Tokyo Dome. The room was compact yet functional, allowing me to relax comfortably. I was amazed by the well-equipped on-site bathing facility! It was spacious enough that I didn’t feel crowded and found it very soothing. With a convenience store, proximity to the station, and plenty of dining options both inside and outside the hotel, my stay was extremely comfortable. Great value for money—very satisfied! I’ll definitely stay here again.

    It was very user-friendly.

    It was a comfortable Hotel, conveniently located near Ryogoku Station and the Kokugikan, with a convenience store inside. The restaurant also seems to have a good reputation, and I would like to visit if I have the chance. However, on the day we stayed, it was warm and the air conditioning seemed to only work for cooling, so I woke up at night feeling cold.

    I had been curious a...

    I had been curious about this place for a while, and I finally stayed with a friend for the first time. There is an open-air bath and gym in the basement, and a LAWSON on the second floor, which was convenient. The breakfast buffet in the morning had 60 varieties, so it was nice to be able to choose what I wanted to eat, and it was delicious. I would like to use it again. If there is one thing to consider, it would be appreciated if there were a discount for parking.

    The First Stay at APA Hotel

    I don't usually use a Business Hotel, but I decided to make a Reservation at APA Resort as it seemed appealing. However, later I realized that the Room was very small, and after reading all the Reviews, I found comments about insufficient cleaning, long elevator wait times, mediocre breakfast, cold Rooms, especially cold hallways, cold toilet seats, and the use of yukata instead of pajamas. I was quite conflicted about whether I should Change the Reservation to a Hotel closer to the Budokan, which was the purpose of this trip. On the final day, I had to carry my luggage to the concert venue, and adding pajamas or extra warm clothing would make it difficult to store them under the seat at the venue. In the end, I prioritized my desire to stay in a unique place where I could also enjoy sightseeing, even though I dislike sumo wrestling, and decided to stay here. The result was a great success. The negative points mentioned in the Reviews were not as bad as they sounded. Despite the sumo tournament being held, the elevator wait times were not too long, the Room cleaning was impeccable, the Room temperature was comfortable, the hallways were not as cold as to complain about, and although the toilet seat was not heated, it was not shockingly cold. The clothes I had prepared were even too warm. The Room was small, but the bed was wide and comfortable. I was worried that the striped pattern on the wall might give me a headache, but since it was on the wall opposite the desk, it didn’t bother me. I could also see Tokyo Tower. The breakfast was reasonably priced, and while the variety wasn’t overwhelming, I, as a fan of Western-style food, was satisfied. I particularly enjoyed the local specialties like chanko-nabe-style soup and Fukagawa-meshi. The APA curry was amusing; when I couldn’t find the rice, I asked and was told it was dispensed by a machine. Pressing the 70g button made it pop out, which was fun. However, I think there should be better announcements about the rice. The two people before me couldn’t find it and gave up, taking only the curry to their table. Other delicious items included the appetizer-style roast beef and the pickles, which were perfectly salted and crispy. The only disappointing items were the two desserts. The pudding was too sweet, and the soy milk dessert was unappetizing. Since there were fruits and mangoes, I think plain yogurt would have been a nice addition. I also appreciated being able to take coffee back to my Room. If I may be indulgent, introducing pajamas and providing drip coffee in the Room would make me a definite repeat customer. Lastly, the staff, including those at the front desk, were very kind, making my stay extremely comfortable. Thank you very much.

    Too disappointing for Apa.

    I rated it 3 stars because I spoke directly. Still, I will write about what actually happened. I heard the sound of an ambulance siren on the 29th floor around 8 AM, and thought it was from another place, but it was from this Hotel. It seems there was no actual fire. On the 31st to 30th floors, there was a continuous announcement, but on the 29th floor, it was half noisy and half inaudible, creating a situation of uncertainty. The elevator went into emergency mode, and one was unusable, so I had to wait for five and a half minutes in the cold with just a yukata in the open structure in front of the elevator. I think it would be better if there were more communication methods for nearby or all floors and if the elevators could be managed flexibly to avoid anxiety. The public bath's faucet and shower stopping every 5 seconds was stressful, but can this be changed here? I struggled to keep the water flowing by pressing with one hand. I like the open-air bath. 40 degrees is generally lukewarm, so it's not satisfying, but it's good because it's spacious and there are many. Regarding breakfast, many items were missing and not replenished. There was one staff member on the replenishment side and 3-4 on the busing side, and they were not communicating well, so the one person on replenishment couldn't keep up, while the busing staff were working leisurely, which was problematic. If 2/3 of the seats are empty, I don't think that many staff are needed there. The staff working there are on site for hours, so they might not notice if something is missing for a few minutes, but those taking food go around and return to their seats in 1-3 minutes, so if it's not there then, and not there the second time, it's confirmed to be unavailable. Items that need to be opened or peeked into to check, like curry, mixed rice, miso soup, and dressing, were all missing, which seems like a simple lack of checking. The visible chanko was marked as being cooked. I was also concerned that there were no plates below. There was no one cooking omelets, so I was disappointed as I was looking forward to freshly made ones. The price is cheap, so it's fine, but it was terrible this time, so I wrote about it. I have recorded many photos and videos. The foreign staff member doing the morning bed-making was wonderful. Thank you for speaking with me on the phone, but I canceled next week's stay.

    The large public bat...

    The large public bath was very nice. This time, I stayed with my child, but I felt it was indeed a Business Hotel. I cannot recommend it for staying with children. Even though I was inside the building, it was somehow cold, and even with the air conditioning on, there was a draft, which bothered me and I couldn't sleep. It was my first time using APA Hotel, and it felt like it was worth the price.

    Every January 3rd, I stay with my daughter at a city hotel in Tokyo with a large public bath. This time, the Apa Hotel met our expectations. However, the room was small, and the dinner did not include sushi or sashimi, which was a bit disappointing. Still, considering the price, it was very affordable, so I am satisfied. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Convenient and comfortable.

    The JR station and the Toei Subway station were close and convenient. The Room was small, but it was nice to be able to open the suitcase and leave it. There was also a large public bath, which was nice. However, the elevator didn't come, and it took time, which was troublesome. Because of this, I had to allow for an extra 10-20 minutes. The elevator was moving, but it often passed by without stopping, and I had to wait without being able to get on. There were several times when the elevator skipped the floor I was on and didn't stop.

    The large public bath is spacious.

    For day use, you can relax as there is a large public bath and a buffet restaurant. Since it is a twin bed, the Room is a bit more spacious compared to other Apa rooms.

    Good coordination among APA staff!

    1 minute from Ryogoku Station, I was pleased with the excellent access. The view from the high-floor Room was nice, and I was able to sleep quietly at night. Even during busy times in the lobby, the staff coordinated well, allowing for a stress-free check-in process. This is the most important time for guests, and Ryogoku's APA was impressive. There was one disappointing point: the APA book in the Room and the photo of mineral water are completely unnecessary for travelers. It seems like it's about time to realize this, as it diminishes the value of APA.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    Close to Ryogoku Station, check-in and check-out were smooth, but staying in a room on a high floor with a large public bath on the basement floor took time to move by elevator. The room is not barrier-free, and the room itself is slightly small. The view is not very good due to the horizontal pillars. I was able to spend my time quietly.

    The large public bath is nice.

    I stayed alone but used a corner twin. It was spacious, clean, and I am very satisfied. As I thought last time, the large public bath is indeed attractive. Especially in the cold season, I was able to warm up thoroughly and relieve my fatigue.
