    A bit disappointing.

    On the first night, I noticed during my bath that there was no bath mat. I thought perhaps the bath mat had been removed since it was available before. On the second night, as it was a multiple night stay, new items such as pajamas, bath towels, face towels, toothbrushes, and a bath mat were provided. This made me realize that the absence of the bath mat on the first night must have been an oversight. Since I brought my own toothbrush, I didn’t need one. In the morning, when I wanted to have coffee, I found that coffee and green tea had not been replenished. This is probably my third stay here and such issues hadn’t occurred before, so it was a bit disappointing.

    We were surprised that there was no staff available after 10 PM.

    Upon arrival and receiving an explanation of the Facility, I was informed that staff would be unavailable from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. As a woman, this made me feel uneasy. I even considered changing the Hotel at that moment, but it was late at night, and I wasn’t sure if another Hotel could be found nearby. Therefore, I decided to stay but felt scared throughout the night. Although staff were unavailable during the night, there was no explanation regarding emergency procedures. I had to check evacuation routes on my own. This was my first experience staying at a Hotel without nighttime staff presence, and it made me wonder if such an arrangement is legally acceptable. Moreover, there was no mention of this on IKYU.com’s page for this Hotel. Having used IKYU.com without issues in the past for Reservations, this experience left me feeling very disappointed. I believe that the absence of nighttime staff is a critical matter that requires thorough prior explanation.

    It was clean.

    The room was narrower than expected, but it was clean, so that's a plus. Since I stayed for two nights and had a compact bag, it was fine, but with a large suitcase, it might be difficult to move around once opened. There is a chair in front of the sink, but it's too narrow to use as a desk, and there's almost no space to place makeup tools or drinks. Also, the refrigerator was so unique it made me laugh, but overall, I was satisfied. Above all, I'm grateful to have a place to stay in Nagaokakyo City.
