    Late-night ramen is the best.

I made a Reservation for a double Room. The Room was on the 8th floor, and I could see the tip of Tokyo Skytree from the window, which was exciting. It’s not very spacious, but it’s neat and feels clean. There wasn’t any cleansing oil in the Room, but it’s available in the public bath. Toner and lotion are also provided there. It seems hair irons are available to borrow, but I couldn’t tell whether they were straighteners or curling irons, so I was curious. The Room came with two bottles of water, plus tea and coffee—and even welcome sweets. On top of that, there were welcome drinks in the 1st-floor lobby, which I really appreciated. There are also vending machines downstairs where you can buy soft drinks—don’t forget coins! The bottled milk is perfect after a bath. There were four kinds of ice cream too, so it was hard to choose. The baths weren’t very crowded. On the women’s side you can choose your shampoo, and there’s a mist sauna with a TV plus ReFa shower heads. The pot bath felt open and relaxing—I was very satisfied. Men use their room key for access; women receive a separate lock code at check-in—don’t forget either one. They even had an ice pillow available, which really impressed me. Late-night soba made right in front of you! The staff add the toppings for you; shichimi pepper and black pepper are self-serve. They also lend out traditional sandals for walking around nearby. There are styles with and without straps between the toes—if you’re prone to blisters, be careful. Breakfast is buffet-style with unlimited salmon roe. I was disappointed there wasn’t any rice porridge or noodles, but it may change seasonally—so I’m looking forward to coming back. Both check-in and check-out were done by machine and went smoothly. I’d love to stay again!

    Late-night ramen

The Onsen, late-night soba, and complimentary ice cream and Pilkul were all excellent. Most Hotels I’ve stayed at provide two pillows per person, which suits me because I prefer a higher pillow, but here there was only one pillow and it was quite low. The mattress also didn’t suit me as I have lower back pain, and there was noise from the floor above, so I had trouble sleeping. However, considering the price, I’m satisfied. Breakfast is average. Also, in the Room, I noticed an odor—possibly from the drain.

An Accommodation That Makes You Want a Multiple Night Stay to Fully Enjoy Asakusa

I stayed here before and thought it was a great Accommodation, and it feels like the services have become even more comprehensive. With Senso-ji right in front and Hanayashiki next door, plus plenty of entertainment spots and restaurants you can drop by casually, staying here helped me rediscover how fun Asakusa is. I’d love to stay again in the near future.

    Comfortable

A few times a year, I stay here just to relax. The natural black-water Onsen is soothing, the hotel is comfortable to walk around barefoot, and from the window you can see Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo Skytree. Free drinks, small snacks (this time financiers), late-night soba, ice cream after the bath, and probiotic drinks—everything is perfect. Thank you very much.

I’ve been a bit curious lately!

I stay at Dormy Inn properties all over the whole country. The baths and sauna are excellent. One concern is that I sometimes end up sharing the facilities with guests who have tattoos. This may be an old-fashioned view, but it makes me uncomfortable.

Wonderful Onsen and a very delicious breakfast

I was fascinated by the unique black hot spring water. It really warmed me up—good. The breakfast buffet was so delicious that I couldn’t help but overeat. Slippers in each Room are a must.

    Basically, your favorite accommodation

A wonderful accommodation where we stayed for multiple nights for six consecutive years. This time, we used the feature to check breakfast waiting times and queue via smartphone in advance. However, when we received an email saying, "Your turn is approaching. Please come to the restaurant shortly," and went there, we were told that it wasn't our turn yet. Even after showing the email and smartphone screen indicating it was our turn, the response felt dismissive. A more considerate approach like asking us to wait nearby would have been appreciated. Hence, one star deducted. On a positive note, staff kindly helped carry meal trays for our elderly family member afterward, which was greatly appreciated—thank you!

Stayed here for the first time.

The Onsen was relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff served and cleaned up for us, which was very helpful.

    Overall, it was great.

I have stayed at other Dormy Inn accommodations before, but this was my first time in Asakusa. Since it is part of the Dormy Inn chain, I was satisfied with both the meals and the bath. If I had to point out something, it would be that the dining area is small with limited seating, and since the bath is located on B1, there is no open-air bath, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the room had a beautiful Japanese-style design and I was very satisfied. Perhaps due to its location in Asakusa, most of the guests were inbound tourists, and their lack of manners stood out.

Always enjoyable, no matter how many times you visit.

This is my third stay. Located in the urban environment of Asakusa, this hotel allows you to fully enjoy the charm of an Onsen Ryokan. Be sure to include breakfast; it will double your enjoyment.

    I like Dormy Inn, but...

With many travelers from overseas, we noticed that many were using suitcases with wheels. This is a Facility where you walk barefoot on tatami mats, but I wondered about walking barefoot on the same tatami mats where wheeled suitcases that had been dragged outdoors were placed. Additionally, the bathwater seemed dirtier compared to other Dormy Inns. The Room was comfortable, but I felt that an environment with better ventilation would be more desirable.

    Close to Kaminarimon...

Close to Kaminarimon, Nakamise Street, and Hanayashiki, the bath and breakfast ikura don are excellent! The night-time ramen was also fantastic! It would have been even better if there was a souvenir shop inside the facility. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

    I was able to relax.

I stayed at a Stays in the Dormy Inn Group for the first time. It lived up to its reputation. The bath and meals, especially breakfast, were particularly impressive. I believe it was the original concept, but it was a comfortable night, taking the best of both a Hotel and a Ryokan. I would like to use it again.

I would like to stay again.

We stayed with 3 people! The ice cream and Yakult after the bath were excellent! The individual air conditioning allowed for a comfortable sleep.

    Humidifier

The location was good, and I had a pleasant stay in a clean environment. The shower and hairdryer in the bathroom were also from ReFa, which was great. However, one very disappointing thing was that there was no air purifier or humidifier in the Room, so it got dry. I would be happy if they are available next time.

    The location of the ...

The location of the Hotel was very good, and the Room was clean and comfortable. The Onsen was a bit small. The variety of breakfast dishes was limited. I felt that the Onsen and breakfast did not compare to the Dormy Inn in Ginza.

    The location is excellent.

Although it is a bit far from Asakusa Station, the access is picturesque, passing through Nakamise Street and Senso-ji Temple from Kaminarimon to near Hanayashiki. The premises are somewhat compact, possibly due to limited space, but functional. Most of the guests seem to be foreigners. There are many restaurants around, and the location is simply excellent.

    Wheelchair Rental

Due to cervical stenosis, I couldn't walk for long periods, so I thought about sightseeing in Asakusa by renting a wheelchair, but it was only for use inside the facility. The Room is a bit small, but it's clean. It's nice that there are places like Sensoji Temple and restaurants nearby, especially since there were elderly people with us.

The hot springs and service were wonderful! The salmon roe rice bowl for breakfast was the best. I want to visit again.
