    A modern Japanese-Western fusion Hotel

    I stayed here because I wanted to visit a famous nearby izakaya, and I was impressed by the stylish, locally inspired interior displays—they were a real treat for the eyes. Breakfast was homemade, warm, and delicious. Thank you very much.

    I’ve stayed here man...

    I’ve stayed here many times, but I’ve never once been thanked for returning—everything feels purely businesslike. It’s disappointing because I really like this Hotel. This time I chose a cheaper Room, and as expected it was quite small and felt cramped. It reminded me that a Hotel is ultimately about the people.

    Masuda Landmark

    Breakfast is served in a modern interior, yet there are also home-style dishes that feel like they were handmade by local moms, which was truly heartwarming. The shijimi clam miso soup was the best-tasting in Shimane. You shouldn’t expect excessive service; it’s a casual-class Hotel, but it’s a recommended Accommodation for those who love design. Since phone calls don’t go through, please research anything you want to ask in advance. Parking is 500 yen.

    I loved the samue loungewear.

    I stayed at this Hotel for a business trip to Masuda City because it was close to the station. Just as in the photos, the interior was wonderful (both the shared areas and my Room). The large public bath was also clean and very pleasant to use. What I especially liked was the samue loungewear provided in the Room. The fabric felt great on my skin and it was very comfortable to wear (I later bought one online). Breakfast was also delicious. I would like to stay here again.

    The Room was more sp...

    The Room was more spacious than a typical Business Hotel, and it didn’t feel cramped even for two people. A distinctive feature is the slightly raised bed area, which made the layout very convenient. The Onsen is a natural hot spring with silky-smooth water, and the bath is large enough to relax in comfortably—it felt wonderful. I didn’t eat much breakfast due to stomach pain, but my wife said it was delicious and was very satisfied. If you’re staying in Masuda, MASCOS HOTEL is the only choice.

    I had a pleasant stay.

    I stayed in a spacious room on the top floor. The room was clean, spacious, and had sophisticated interiors, allowing me to enjoy a pleasant time. Although the room had wooden flooring, I appreciated the presence of cushions. Thanks to that, I could relax and read books comfortably. Although it is a Business Hotel, there were relaxing Onsen and sauna facilities. The staff were very kind and attentive, providing comfort and coziness comparable to that of a Ryokan but with unique convenience not found in traditional Ryokans. It offered much better value for money compared to some overpriced Ryokans, making it highly satisfying. For dinner, we ordered a course meal but also added some à la carte dishes as they all looked delicious. My 2-year-old child enjoyed eating plenty of fried rice as well. Breakfast was served buffet-style and was delicious too. While the variety wasn’t extensive, there were local specialties like clam soup which I appreciated very much. It would have been nice if there were more fruits available. Though it’s quite far away from where I live, I would love to visit again if given the chance! Thank you very much!

    A stylish Hotel with a focus on art, possibly the best in Masuda.

    1. The bath was as large as a pool, making it very relaxing. 2. The breakfast was homemade with great seasoning, providing a perfect start to the day. The person in charge of the meals (an elderly gentleman) seemed very enthusiastic. 3. The yukata had a nice texture and made my stay inside the Hotel comfortable. 4. The Room's bed and desk were made of beautiful wooden furniture, which I found impressive. 5. Female staff members were at the center of operations, and their service was excellent.

    We highly recommend our vegetable-rich breakfast.

    Driving from Fukuoka to San'in, we usually pass through Masuda, but this time we decided to stay for one night and take our time visiting the art museum. We made a same-day Reservation and stayed at this Hotel. Despite booking on a whim, it turned out to be a great choice with beautifully designed furniture and beds in the Room. The large public bath was clean, and the Onsen water was excellent. The Plan included breakfast, which featured 7-8 types of summer vegetable dishes at an affordable price of 1650 yen—a great value for money. While there were various bread options prepared with creative arrangements, as someone who enjoys simple toast, I thought it would be nice if plain bread without any spreads was also available.

    Everything was perfect.

    The hotel was simple, sophisticated, and very comfortable. The Onsen water was incredibly smooth, and the Onsen itself was well-maintained, making it a pleasant experience. The room wasn't very spacious but had a warm wooden touch on the walls, desk, and bedside table. It felt cozy without unnecessary items. The Japanese-made bed was also excellent. I appreciated being able to bring only the amenities I needed into the room—this approach felt efficient and thoughtful. The quality of items like body towels and disposable slippers stood out; the slippers were so nice that it felt wasteful to throw them away. Since there were two of us sharing a double bed, we requested an extra blanket which they kindly provided without hesitation. We added breakfast later on—it left an impression of being carefully prepared. The carrot dressing and clam miso soup were especially delicious! Both the facilities and services were outstanding. This stay coincided with attending a live event in Masuda City; though I don’t often visit this area, I would love to stay here again when I do return someday. I hope similar hotels are established in other regions as well!

    Masuda City is a hidden gem!

    I stayed for one night with breakfast as a stopover between visiting Izumo Taisha and returning home. The stylishness and comfort exceeded my expectations for a business hotel, and I was very satisfied. The breakfast was just the right amount and very delicious. Next time, I would love to try dinner as well. To commemorate my first visit to Masuda City, I purchased an original cup from Masco's Hotel, which is very practical. Thank you very much!

    A wonderful Hotel.

    I had the pleasure of staying at a truly wonderful hotel. The amenities, room facilities, usability, onsen facility (exceptionally clean with a silky and soothing water quality), and the breakfast were all absolutely delightful. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to others. The only downside was the lack of a desk lamp, which made it difficult to work or read instructions in dim lighting.

    A design-oriented Hotel.

    The Onsen and sauna on the second floor were very relaxing. The Hotel room was very simple and convenient to use. I wish there were Hotels like this across the whole country.

    It was a wonderful Hotel beyond my expectations!

    The smiles and service of the staff were wonderful. When I forgot my breakfast voucher and was rummaging through my bag in front of the elevator, a front desk staff member noticed and kindly said with a smile, "Is it the breakfast voucher? We can reissue it here." I remembered that during dinner, someone at a nearby table had also forgotten their drink discount voucher in their room and was greeted with the same smile. It may be a small thing, but being greeted with a smile without any sign of annoyance is truly delightful. I love traveling and have stayed at various hotels, but I felt that this hotel was top-level in terms of being attentive to guests. The room was comfortable and I had a pleasant stay. The dining restaurant was also very delicious. I had ordered a course meal, but it seemed that you could also order à la carte, so I wanted to try more, but unfortunately, I was too full and had to give up. Next time I stay, I would like to try the pizza and pasta.

    It was comfortable.

    Stayed for a concert at Grantowa. The Room and Facility were clean and stylish, and the large public bath was more spacious and comfortable than expected. Being able to stretch out in the Onsen after the live show is the best!

    The bed is excellent!

    The twin room was a corner room, spacious and comfortable. The room's bath was a view bath, and the Onsen was so good that I regret not using the room's bath. The wooden texture of the furnishings was comforting and pleasant, and above all, the bed was very comfortable. When I used the Onsen on the second floor, I went from the room in slippers and placed them at the end of the shoe rack, but they were gone when I came out. It would be even better if there were markers like numbered tags or color-coded clips. The Onsen water was very good, clean, and more spacious than expected, which was excellent. The breakfast had delicious vegetable dishes and a sufficient variety. It was just right for me, but for those who want to eat more, the variety of bread seemed limited. This time, I stayed for two nights in a twin and a single room, and I appreciate the consideration of all the staff.

    Comfortable stay

    We stayed for two nights as a group of four women. The staff's service was excellent, and the room and bath were clean, making for a comfortable stay. The Onsen water was smooth and very pleasant. Both the changing room and the lounge were thoughtfully designed, and we felt a sense of good taste in everything.
