    The lounge is excellent.

    This is my second visit. (In my previous Review, I mistakenly called it a Business Hotel, but it’s actually a lifestyle hotel. My apologies!) I think it’s a wonderful Hotel for close mother-and-daughter trips, girlfriends traveling together, or even solo stays. The location is also very convenient—right by Marutamachi Station near the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The bathroom area is clean and easy to use, and I really enjoyed soaking in the large bathtub with the lighting dimmed. In the spacious, quiet lounge, you can enjoy carefully selected books while sipping detox water or tea. I’d love to come back again just for this lounge. With reasonable prices, it’s easy to use for many purposes—Multiple Night Stay as a sightseeing base or a quiet reading getaway—so I especially recommend this Hotel for women travelers.

    A Hotel You’ll Want to Stay at for a Long Time

    Although it is in the Business Hotel category, it was a truly cozy and wonderful Hotel. The Room had a tasteful Japanese touch with tatami mats, and it was very comfortable. It was also nice that the bathroom lighting can be dimmed. The lounge was especially outstanding! Herbal distilled water is available anytime, and there are comfortable chairs and sofas where you can relax quietly for as long as you like. (If you end up sharing the space with a group of foreign guests, it can get quite lively.) The book selection was interesting too—I found myself wanting to stay longer here just to read. Breakfast was delicious and stylishly served on a single plate, but I was disappointed that Japanese-style options are no longer available. (I really hope you will consider bringing them back!) Kyoto Imperial Palace is right nearby, so it seems perfect for a walk. It felt so welcoming that it made me think a trip focused less on sightseeing and more on enjoying time staying here would be wonderful.

    Convenient location.

    Conveniently located near the subway station, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and close to Kyoto Imperial Palace. The Room is simple, clean, with a spacious bathroom separate from the toilet. The lounge on the first floor offers a stylish and relaxing space with herb water and warm drinks available. Great value for money!
