    There were disappointing aspects throughout. For this price, I expected a bit more effort.

    The pricing is top-tier, but unfortunately the service fell short where it mattered most. First, there was a trash smell in the elevator. Next, dust on the Room louvers, and no complimentary water provided. Above all, the water pressure in the shared bath was weak. In a word: “stingy.” The location and building are good, but what matters most is service. For example, at Hoshino Resorts the staff are friendly, yet they still maintain proper standards where needed. If KURETAKESOU wants to take pride in itself, it should tighten up its operations.

    It’s a good Hotel.

    I think this is a Hotel with excellent facilities. However, one issue is that there is no shelf in the private bathroom, so there is nowhere to place clothes when changing, and there is also no space to put toiletries while washing up.

    It was a convenient ...

    It was a convenient Hotel, close to Hamamatsu Station and Act City. The eel rice bowl at breakfast was delicious. Since we stayed with three people by adding an extra bed to a twin Room, the Room felt small, but it was a clean Hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Starting the day with eel is a great idea!

    One complimentary beer was offered during the evening happy hour, which I enjoyed before my engagement. I also ordered an additional local craft beer. Breakfast offered a variety of choices, including an eel rice box, hitsumabushi-style eel, and beef tendon curry—I tried a little of each. The Room was clean as well.

    Quite disappointing.

    Conveniently located near the station with a multi-story parking lot, making it accessible by car or train. Mineral water was not provided, but it was available in vending machines. It would have been better if it were included even at a higher Accommodation Fee. The Room was relatively spacious, which was nice, but the air conditioner made rattling noises that made it hard to sleep. The unit bath had an unpleasant smell, but filling the bathtub with hot water and adding the provided bath salts resolved the issue. The public bath is small and can accommodate about five people at once in the tub, so it's best not to expect much. The lockers in the public bath are open-style without locks; having secure lockers for valuables would be helpful as I felt uneasy leaving my watch or Room key unattended for long baths. Breakfast included a small portion of eel rice bowl which was good; however, the beef tendon curry was too greasy for my taste. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy coffee during breakfast as the coffee machine seemed to be out of order—this was quite disappointing. I don't think I'll return next time.

    The Hotel is conveni...

    The Hotel is conveniently located just a 3-5 minute walk from the station, accessible via an underground passage, so I arrived without getting wet even on a rainy day. Breakfast included unagi-don, allowing me to enjoy a luxurious start to the day. I wished I could have had seconds. However, it was disappointing that while there is a sauna, there is no cold bath. I would like to stay here again on my next business trip.

    Comfortable and just right.

    Conveniently located near the station. The public bath is not very large but is available until midnight, and all necessary amenities are provided. Clean facilities with friendly service. Especially appreciated having two towels provided, allowing one for the bath and one for hand drying. It was so comfortable that it made reserving a luxury hotel seem unnecessary.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    Stayed for one night from 8/24. Chose this Hotel because it has a large public bath. Although the bathing area had only four washing stations and was compact, it was clean, and I could Check Reservation status from the Room to enjoy a relaxing bath during less crowded times. It would be great if the operating hours were extended a bit longer, so I gave 4 stars. For breakfast, I wished there were peeled fruits that could be added to yogurt (as there were already plenty of dish options), so I rated it 4 stars as well. I appreciated thoughtful services like being able to choose bath salts for use in the Room's private bath and would love to stay again if given another opportunity!

    I would like to use it again next time.

    Great location, excellent staff service, clean rooms, and great value for money—overall very satisfying. However, one concern was the smell of the nightwear. It had a dusty odor, possibly due to cleaning or long-term storage. Other than that, everything was excellent. The mini eel rice bowl at breakfast was delicious!

    Conveniently located near the station

    Although categorized as a Business Hotel, it offers a welcome drink service, a small but pleasant public bath, and a surprisingly good variety of breakfast options for the price, making it a highly satisfying Hotel. However, it was disappointing that there was no bottled water in the refrigerator.

    Kuretake INN is my favorite Hotel, but...

    I stayed at Kuretake INN Kitano Niwa two years ago during the same period and had a very positive impression. Last year, I stayed at Kuretake INN in Iwata, and although the building was slightly aged, it was well-cleaned, and the staff were kind and accommodating. This year, I decided to stay again at Kitano Niwa. The staff's service remains excellent with no complaints; however, this time I noticed that the cleaning of the room assigned to me was not thorough. Additionally, the air coming through the vent near the entrance felt quite dusty, suggesting it might not have been properly maintained. Regarding amenities, there were no hangers provided in my room, which was inconvenient. In Iwata’s accommodation last year, there were bottled water provided in the room; however, this one did not have any. Overall though, it is still a very good hotel but these small issues were disappointing. Since I'll be visiting Hamamatsu again around this time next year, I hope at least that cleanliness will be improved by then.

    The public bath may not meet high expectations.

    The hotel is conveniently located near the station with a noticeable exterior, making it easy to find. A convenience store is relatively close by, and the location can be considered prime. The building is new and clean, but the rooms have small windows, which may not provide much of an open feel. The closet is surprisingly narrow, which could be inconvenient for storing coats during winter. The bathroom setup combines sink, toilet, and bath in a compact space that isn't particularly comfortable. While there is a separate public bath available, its size is disappointing compared to the number of guest rooms. With only four washing stations and a small tub that would feel cramped with five adults at once, it falls short of expectations. The sauna is also quite small; moreover, if both the washing stations and tub are occupied when you leave the sauna, it raises questions about what to do next. Although you can check public bath congestion via your room's TV screen due to its limited capacity even a few additional guests can quickly make it crowded. Additionally,the changing area lacks space,and there’s no lounge or waiting area nearby.If you find public baths crowded upon arrival returning back might become inevitable instead Breakfast options aren’t extensive especially for those preferring Western-style meals however featuring mini eel rice bowls as main dish naturally leans towards Japanese cuisine satisfying enough just having eel rice bowl/tea early morning itself Overall this place doesn’t follow modern stylish business-hotel trends rather luxurious version traditional business hotels/Ryokans

    It might sound exaggerated, but this could be the best in the past three years.

    1. Room: Perfect score of 100 - New, impeccably clean, with well-balanced amenities including bath salts, which were a nice touch. 2. Service: Polite and prompt service. Even irregular requests were handled smoothly, leaving us very satisfied! The parking staff was also kind and helpful. 3. Bathroom: Only used the room's bathroom – it was clean, beautiful, and odor-free. 4. Facility: Being new, there were no issues at all; even the elevator wait times were minimal. We had an incredibly pleasant stay overall! The breakfast bowl (with eel) and semi-buffet? Though they call it "semi," it felt fully stocked! The beef curry was excellent, and both the salad bar and drink bar were delicious—completely satisfying (we ate too much!).

    Thank you for taking care of us for two nights. Even when many guests were leaving their luggage, your assistance was smooth, and thank you very much for your help when we called with a request. We had a very comfortable stay. *We did not use the large public bath.*

    I did not use the large public bath or breakfast, so I cannot comment on them, but the Room was well-cleaned and had a sense of cleanliness. The staff provided excellent service every time, including luggage storage before check-in, check-in, check-out, and inquiries about forgotten items. It was also convenient as it is accessible from the station through an underground passage.

    High cost performance

    I stayed in a twin room, and I think it offers great value for money as it is more spacious, has better views from the window, and is cleaner compared to other higher-priced hotels. I didn't have high expectations for the free breakfast, but it was quite satisfying.

    Hamamatsu Gourmet Food Tour

    The elderly female staff at the entrance during breakfast left a good impression with her friendly demeanor. She greeted us cheerfully and was very attentive. The room is small, but since we chose accommodation with a large public bath just for sleeping, it was convenient being near the station for enjoying Hamamatsu's gourmet spots. By the way, Hamamatsu gyoza is characterized by its vegetable-rich and light flavor.

    Recently, I have been using Kuretake Kita no Niwa exclusively. This time, I stayed for two nights from 2/14-15, but the smell of the bathroom? Toilet in the room... was a bit concerning. Also, there is a sink in the Room? It felt very out of place. There was quite a lot of noise and vibration from the ventilation fan. I wouldn't want to use this Room next time. When I asked to borrow a glass, they gave me a plastic cup... I was at a loss for words. It's disappointing compared to other Hotels' responses.

    The location is excellent.

    Located in front of the station, the location was excellent. However, the Room was the smallest I have ever seen. With two twin beds, there was no space to walk. It was disappointing that the coffee was instant.

    New and clean

    It was a new and clean Room. I didn't use the large public bath or dining facilities, so I can't comment on those, but for this price in front of the station, I think it's highly recommendable.

    I decided on the day

    It was a spontaneous stay on the day, but it was close to the station, clean, and comfortable. I could check the congestion status from the room, but it was a bit disappointing that even when it showed as not crowded, the bathhouse was relatively crowded when I went. It was my first time in Hamamatsu, but I would like to take my time to explore next time. It was a hotel I would like to stay at again.
