    The Room is spacious.

    This was my first stay. Good points: (1) Close to Toyama Station, (2) The Room is spacious. Points for improvement: (1) Although it seems to be a historic Hotel, the overall atmosphere feels somewhat dark, (2) The checkout machine was out of order.

    Perfect for sightseeing with Toyama Station as your base!

    Just a short walk to Fugan Canal Kansui Park. Also close to the Toyama Glass Art Museum. And super close to Toyama Station! Perfect for sightseeing with Toyama Station as your base! The Hotel itself is clean and there’s nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

    Please review the breakfast options.

    The breakfast was extremely disappointing. You choose from four set menus (Japanese, Western, curry, etc.), and the salad, bread, and drinks are buffet-style, but both the variety and quality are very poor. There is hardly anything to choose from. If this is all they can offer, they should either stop selling a breakfast-included Plan or make it a free service. At the very least, guests should avoid choosing the breakfast-included Plan. It is not worth the price at all.

    Quiet and comfortable.

    Thank you for upgrading our Room. We were able to spend our time quietly and comfortably. At checkout in the morning, we were surprised to hear wonderful piano music and found ourselves captivated! It was also comfortable not having to encounter any foreign guests. We will definitely choose this place again next time.

    It was comfortable.

    I’d always been curious about this place whenever I visited Kansui Park, and this time I stayed for two nights for the first time. The Room was simple and spotless, the bathroom area was also very clean, and it made for a truly comfortable stay in Toyama. I’d love to stay here again next time.

    The location was con...

    The location was convenient, and the Hotel was clean and pleasant. However, the Room had several issues, such as the TV not working and water leaking onto the floor when draining the bathtub, requiring multiple calls to the front desk. The staff's response was kind. I hope improvements will be made to this Room for future guests.

    I would like to use it again when visiting Toyama.

    I thought I had made a Reservation for a Business Hotel, but upon entering, it turned out to be a City Hotel, and the Room was very satisfying. It is conveniently located near the station yet quiet enough for a peaceful stay. I would definitely like to use it again when visiting Toyama in the future.

    1-minute walk from Toyama Station North Exit, 15-minute walk from the world's most beautiful Starbucks, and an exceptional stay with no breakfast buffet!

    It was great. I will stay again.

    The north side of Toyama Station is quiet and not crowded, making it convenient as it is close to the Hotel. The Hotel does not have new Facilities, but the spacious area was comfortable and relaxing. I regret not being able to see Tateyama due to bad weather, so I would like to visit Toyama again.

    It is a beautiful Hotel.

    A very clean city hotel located just a 2-minute walk from the station. I made the Reservation because the rates were very reasonable. The Room included disposable slippers and was extremely clean, leaving nothing to complain about. Breakfast was included, but it was average with limited side dishes and nothing particularly noteworthy. All the staff were very friendly, making for a pleasant stay. Thank you!

    Very convenient location in front of Toyama Station.

    I visit Toyama every year, but this was my first time staying at the Hotel on the north side. Overall, I was satisfied. The front desk service was excellent. However, there was no towel rack in the bathroom, which was very inconvenient and needs urgent improvement. Additionally, the air conditioning control panel was difficult to use.

    It was comfortable.

    The Room was upgraded. I was impressed by the spacious and modern interior, which provided a sense of escape from the ordinary. For breakfast, I chose Eggs Benedict from the Western menu, which was hearty and very satisfying. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Toyama. Thank you very much!

    A strong commitment to maintaining unique elegance is highly appreciated.

    I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Western-style breakfast set included the option of Eggs Benedict. Despite being a small hotel in a regional city, I felt a sense of pride in its aspiration to emulate traditional Western hotels. Even the single rooms are thoughtfully equipped with valet stands (antique coat hangers). In my experience, this level of detail is something I’ve only encountered at luxury British colonial-style hotels in places like Hong Kong or Delhi. The lobby features a grand piano that guests can freely play for relaxation—a thoughtful facility comparable to the "Music Room" at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo. At a time when most hotels are shifting towards youth-oriented, Instagram-friendly designs catering to inbound tourism, I was deeply impressed by this hotel's commitment to maintaining its classic and authentic style. I sincerely hope they continue preserving this elegance for years to come.

    Overall, I was satisfied.

    Stayed for one night on the last day of a trip with my daughter. The location, front desk service, and Room were generally good, and I would consider staying again if given the opportunity. However, I deducted points for the following two concerns: 1) Shampoo was found in the conditioner holder. It might have been an unusually foamy conditioner, but it seems likely to be a mistake in refilling. 2) There was leftover water inside the coffee machine, possibly from previous use.

    A great Hotel I have stayed at multiple times.

    I stayed in a Superior Twin room this time. The beds were spacious, and I had a comfortable stay. However, it seemed there were about four weddings happening during my stay, and the reception desk was staffed mostly by young girls. This made me slightly concerned about parking arrangements and luggage storage, but since I've stayed here multiple times before, I felt at ease eventually. I was delighted to see that the road in front of the Hotel leading to my favorite Canal Park gets more beautiful every time I visit. Also, I noticed the cute teddy bear plushies that used to be given as gifts during past stays are now displayed in the restaurant—it brought back fond memories of how lovely those gifts were. I look forward to staying here again when I have another opportunity!

    The breakfast was delicious.

    The location and the Room were excellent. The Room had two bottles of delicious water from Toyama and a machine for coffee and tea. Breakfast was very delicious. Although it was not buffet-style, drinks were served buffet-style, including various juices, tea, coffee, and water. You could choose between a Western or Japanese plate set. I chose the Japanese meal, which included rice and miso soup with free refills. The meal featured an abundance of Toyama's specialties such as grilled mackerel, rolled omelet, sashimi of salmon and white shrimp marinated in kelp, kamaboko (fish cake), and other dishes rich in kelp flavors. When I asked at check-in if the café was available at that time, I was told there wasn’t one. It seemed odd since the restaurant appeared to be open; perhaps it was a misunderstanding on my part. When I asked again if there was somewhere to have coffee nearby, they mentioned there might be one inside the neighboring Aubade Hall. However, upon checking with the restaurant later on-site, it turned out to be café time there after all. It would have been helpful if they had clarified this or suggested enjoying what’s provided in the Room instead during such situations for better guidance overall!

    A tranquil Hotel

    We have assigned you to this room as it is a smoking room.

    As a smoker, I often Reserve a smoking Room, but I'm a picky person who dislikes rooms that smell bad despite being a smoker. The smoking Room at this Hotel had little lingering odor, which impressed me. The breakfast was also delicious.

    Spacious and clean Room

    The bed was large and the Room was very clean. A new hairdryer with strong airflow was provided, which was very convenient. I would love to stay here again when I visit Toyama.

    We would like to incorporate features that make you want to use it actively.

    It is close to the station, but it's a distance where you might get wet if it's raining. There is a tram station in front of the hotel, but it does not stop in the direction of Toyama Station, so an umbrella is necessary if it rains. The room I stayed in this time had electric curtains, but they didn't open, possibly due to a malfunction. Additionally, the reading light by the bed didn't turn on, which made me concerned about the facility malfunctions. Moreover, the floor I stayed on was not ideal, as it lacked vending machines and an ice maker, requiring the use of an elevator to access other floors for these amenities, which was somewhat inconvenient. The room had a separate bath and toilet, with a good layout, making it more user-friendly than other business hotels in that regard. Breakfast was a choice between Japanese and Western styles, and while the taste was not bad, other hotels emphasize their breakfast offerings, so it didn't provide a compelling reason to choose this hotel, which felt disadvantageous. Overall, there was nothing that made me think "I want to stay at this hotel again," and it would be nice to have a distinctive strength that makes this hotel stand out.

    Avoid overtourism

    This time, I visited Toyama City, which is not overly touristy, in search of delicious seafood. Although I visited by car, the hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Toyama Station, making it very accessible. It was classified as a Business Hotel, but it was indeed a very splendid hotel. I stayed for two nights, but due to certain reasons, I reserved rooms of different ranks for each night (one night on this site), and they kindly upgraded one night for me, allowing me to stay in the same room for two nights (this left a very good impression). For breakfast, instead of a buffet, you could choose between Japanese or Western cuisine. The rice was very delicious (Toyama Koshihikari rice?), so I bought some at a rice shop in town on the last day and took it home. Both the town and the hotel left such a lingering impression that makes you want to visit again, which is simply the best. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time.

    The change from a comfort semi-double to a twin was a huge inconvenience.

    I am not fond of rooms with only a bed and a desk, so I checked the photos and booked a Comfort Semi-Double that had a sofa and a tea table. At check-in, I was told that a larger room was prepared due to the hotel's circumstances, and when I opened the door, it was a twin room. However, with the addition of an unused bed, the tea table and sofa were gone, leaving me with an uncomfortable room where I had no choice but to spend my waking hours in the desk chair. As a hotel staff member, they should realize that this change is inconvenient for guests, and if they absolutely cannot provide the reserved room, they should explain the differences in amenities at check-in and obtain consent. I endured it because I didn't want to be seen as a complainer, but even considering the advantages of being close to the station and having many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, the negative impression was stronger.

    The trip to Toyama after a long time was very nice.

    This time, although the hotel stay was for two people, there was only one bath towel. After calling the front desk, the staff promptly brought another one. Also, I was able to see a beautiful sunset from the hotel window, which was really nice. Thank you very much.
