    Staying again after six years

    I was impressed by how well you’ve adapted to changes in your guest demographics. There were noticeably more overseas families, and the lobby had items for children. My only concern was etiquette in the large public bath. Lately, regardless of price range, I see this at many Accommodations: many foreign guests quickly rinse their bodies and get into the tub right away, then wash with soap after getting out. I would like you to post a large multilingual sign instructing guests to wash their bodies with soap before entering the bath. I’m not sure if it will solve the issue, but still. This isn’t limited to that alone, but I feel that Japanese manners and consideration—acting so as not to inconvenience others—are increasingly being ignored, and as a result more costs (such as higher accommodation fees) end up being passed on to guests.

    It was the best accommodation I’ve stayed at in a long time.

    The Facility is very clean. There is almost no outside noise. Breakfast was excellent—I ate too much for two days. When I go to Sapporo, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

    The breakfast was excellent.

    Of the three Hotels I stayed at this time, this Hotel was the best. The breakfast was high quality, and I was more satisfied than at Hotels that cost more. Most of the guests were international travelers, but the front desk staff were very considerate—for example, they told me which restaurant times would be less crowded.

    Not great.

    I have stayed at Vessel properties many times, but this was the first time I found the front desk staff disappointing. The woman who handled my check-in was polite on the surface but came across as condescending, and her smile did not feel genuine, which made me uncomfortable. When I returned from being out, there was no greeting; they were just chatting and giggling among themselves. Also, the sheets in my room were wrinkled, making me wonder whether the bed had been properly made. I understand it was Golden Week, but the public bath and restaurant were small and crowded throughout. The restaurant staff were pleasant.

    It had a fresh, modern feel, which was great. There was also a sauna, and the bath amenities were pleasant to use. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, with plenty of drinks as well, and you could top your bowl with seafood yourself! It’s a bit of a walk from the subway station, so it’s best when there’s no snow. The location was convenient since it’s in Susukino.

    The breakfast quality is poor.

    A popular Hotel for inbound tour guests. The lobby and drink corner are always lively. However, the breakfast was disappointing; instead of salmon roe, there was trout roe, the meat resembled canned quality, the pudding tasted like powdered mix, and nothing else stood out as delicious. Additionally, female staff were loudly chatting continuously, which made for an unpleasant and disappointing morning experience.

    Sapporo Trip with a Baby

    We traveled with our 9-month-old baby. The Room was compact yet very functional and comfortable to stay in. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as borrowing a bed guard to prevent the child from falling and having baby soap available in the public bath. The breakfast was also very delicious, and we would love to stay here again when visiting Sapporo.

    For Breakfast Lovers

    I was looking forward to breakfast, so I arrived at the breakfast venue before the opening time of 6:00 AM, but there were already about 10 people in line. The seafood corner was very popular and crowded, making it less ideal for a relaxed dining experience. We recommend visiting with plenty of time to spare.

    Sapporo Trip

    I had a sudden change in travel plans and urgently searched for a hotel, finding availability at this Hotel for a Multiple Night Stay on Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th. Located slightly away from the bustling Susukino area, it is conveniently situated in the city with parking right behind the Hotel. The location was excellent. Since I made a No Meals Included Reservation, I planned to reserve breakfast during check-in but was disappointed to find it fully booked on both days. The welcome drink selection offered various options, making it hard to choose. The bath area featured a spacious tub and sauna; although it was crowded at times, it was comfortable overall. The shower used Mirable technology, and Dyson hair dryers were provided—both were great features. The complimentary ice cream after bathing was also delightful! Additionally, there were five coin laundry machines available, which was very convenient. The Room had a large bed that ensured comfort throughout my stay. The sink being located near the entrance and separate from the toilet added convenience as well. Overall, this Hotel is new and exceptionally clean—a wonderful place to stay!

    We apologize for the inconvenience, but meals were not provided.

    I made a reservation after extensive searching, looking forward to breakfast. However, at check-in, I was told, "You cannot have breakfast tomorrow as it is fully booked." Despite repeated requests, I was met with a firm "No," leaving no room for negotiation. Had I known this, I wouldn't have stayed here in the first place. In the end, I rushed to another hotel in the morning to have breakfast... I wish I had booked there from the start. The fact that there isn't enough food or seating for all guests is simply unacceptable. If you plan to stay here, please be aware of the risk that you might not be able to have breakfast.

    The breakfast was excellent.

    The downside was that the room was small. It felt cramped for four adults. Once we opened our suitcases, there was no space left. The view was of the parking lot (T . T). It would be helpful if the parking fee of 1,500 yen per day could be a bit cheaper. Other than that, everything was excellent. The public bath was clean, and the shower by ReFa and hairdryer by Dyson were great. Breakfast included all-you-can-eat seafood like crab, salmon roe, and scallops, and the ice cream wasn’t too sweet but very delicious. Next time, I plan to stay in a slightly larger room. The front desk staff were kind and accommodating as well. Thank you very much!

    Public Bath

    Overall, it was a clean Hotel. The large public bath was spacious and included a sauna, which was excellent. The changing room was also clean and equipped with towels at all times.

    It was a clean and comfortable Hotel!

    Check-in after watching a baseball game at Es Con Field was smooth, as expected from a Hotel in Susukino. Late check-ins were no problem at all. The public bath was open until 1:00 AM, equipped with ReFa shower nozzles and Dyson hairdryers, along with a cold bath and sauna. The Room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. Overall, I was very satisfied and found it to be more cost-effective than the neighboring OMO.

    No need to revisit.

    I made a Reservation after reading a blog that mentioned the seafood quality at the breakfast buffet here is higher than other Hotels. At check-in, I was asked, "Is the address registered with Expedia correct?" I informed them that I had made my Reservation through IKYU. The response was: "We did not say anything like that. We mentioned the registered travel agency." While mistakes can happen, their confrontational attitude was extremely unpleasant. It seems unlikely to confuse "Expedia" with "registered travel agency." The breakfast was also better at JR Tower Nikko or Dormy Inn, so this is not a Hotel I would revisit.

    It was great.

    The location was excellent, and the staff at the front desk, restaurant, and parking were very accommodating. Instead of mineral water in the room, there were welcome drinks and ice available, which was a delightful service. Breakfast was served in a bright and spacious restaurant; it was delicious and very satisfying. On weekday mornings around 6 AM, about 70% of the seats were occupied. There were two disappointing points: First, I didn’t notice from the photos that in the Standard Twin Room, two Airweave mattresses were placed on a raised platform floor—likely designed to be used together if needed. While this might be convenient for families with small children, it was quite inconvenient to have to remove slippers each time to climb onto the platform to access the mattress further back. Second, when I went to the public bath around 9 PM, it was so crowded that I had to wait for a washing area and eventually gave up. It would be helpful if room displays could show real-time crowd levels at the public bath. Although I specifically chose this accommodation for its public bath facilities and found this aspect disappointing, considering factors like price point along with breakfast quality, location convenience, and parking ease—I am overall very satisfied. Thank you!

    If you're planning to enjoy Susukino, the location is excellent! However, since many international guests stay here and have a great time, the shared spaces and baths might feel a bit less private.

    The Hotel had a vibrant international atmosphere.

    We visited in July for a family trip. The location in Susukino and the free Child Sharing Existing Bedding for elementary school children were great. Due to the location, there were many tourists from Asia, giving a somewhat bustling impression. Both the guest room and the Facility, including the large public bath, were excellent. Although we hadn't made a reservation for breakfast, we lined up at 6 AM at the front desk to purchase tickets. It turned into a luxurious meal featuring Hokkaido's delicacies from early morning. Thank you very much!

    You won't want to stay at any other Hotel.

    The location is convenient, the staff's hospitality was pleasant, and above all, the breakfast was enjoyable. Among many accommodations in Sapporo, this stay stands out as truly memorable! Thank you so much! If I may make a request, I had injured my left shoulder and found it difficult to carry the shipping box to the front desk. When I asked for assistance, it was unfortunately not possible. While I understand that policies may vary even within the same hotel series, it would have been helpful to receive a little assistance in such situations.

    It was a short walk ...

    It was a short walk from Susukino Station. It might feel a bit inconvenient during hot summer days or on snowy winter roads. I stayed in a Moderate Double Room for one night. The room was new and clean but felt slightly small. The carpeted floor allowed for walking barefoot, but I personally had concerns about cleanliness. There were no complimentary bottled water or drip coffee provided. However, the lounge on the first floor and the water server on the second floor were available for use. As for breakfast, I had high expectations due to good reviews, but the variety of dishes was limited. The salmon roe (or trout?) portions were small, and there weren’t any particularly delicious dishes that stood out, which was disappointing. Additionally, the tables were small and felt cramped.

    A Business Hotel with great location, design, and comfort

    Stayed 3 nights to support the Hanshin Tigers. Used this site for 1 night. Stayed in Room 818 and Room 810. ① Clean and brand new. ② Loved the interior, design, and lighting. ③ The public bath and sauna were great. ④ For two people, the twin Room 818 is better; Room 810 is too small. Stayed in Room 810 for the second and third nights. No cleaning or sheet/towel replacement unless requested at the front desk, which was not explained during check-in. Returning from Es Con Field close to 11 PM made it a disappointing experience upon entering the room. Charging full price without asking anything of guests is quite bold... I don’t mind that more than half of the guests are inbound travelers though!

    Satisfied.

    The Hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Susukino Station, which might feel a bit far at first, but once you check in, it's conveniently close to dining spots. The bath area includes a clean public bath. Amenities are available at the front desk on the first floor, allowing you to take only what you need—very convenient. Breakfast was truly delicious. I accidentally spilled some juice, but the staff responded kindly and professionally, which was great. The tables in the breakfast area were slightly small, but considering how busy it was, it’s understandable. I’ll definitely stay here again—it’s an excellent Hotel overall!

    No mistakes.

    I discovered a 20% discount through my company's benefits program. After researching, I found that IKYU offers the best deal and made a reservation with breakfast included. This trip was planned as a gourmet getaway to Susukino to celebrate my daughter's new job and show appreciation to my wife. We planned for ramen, soup curry, jingisukan, and seafood, initially intending to have seafood at Nijo Market in the morning. However, the hotel's breakfast exceeded expectations with unlimited servings of salmon roe, scallops, tuna, and snow crab—alongside an array of Hokkaido specialties. For a Business Hotel breakfast experience, this is by far the best I've ever had! The room was very clean and there was even a large public bath; we were truly satisfied. I visit Sendai 1-2 times per month but unfortunately there isn't one in Sendai yet—please consider expanding there! Next time I plan to use it in Fukuoka. I'm already looking forward to it!

    I would like to stay again.

    The location was great and the place was clean, allowing us to relax by taking off our shoes. I was also pleased with the ReFa shower. The breakfast was luxurious, with plenty of options for children to eat, which was nice. Although there were moments when replenishment couldn't keep up, it was within an acceptable range.

    I stayed at the property to celebrate a birthday. The lobby and room were very clean, the room size was just right, and the onsen came with a sauna. The breakfast had a wide variety, and the seafood was very delicious. I was able to have a very fulfilling time. If I had to say, there was dust on the room's cups and kettle, and when I used the air conditioner and air purifier, I experienced allergy-like symptoms, which made me wonder if the cleaning was thorough. After leaving the hotel, the allergy symptoms subsided. Other than that, everything was really great.

    I went expecting breakfast, but everything else was better.

    The breakfast at the Vessel series is highly rated, so I visited with high expectations. In conclusion, the breakfast, priced at 2,300 yen, was clearly inferior to other hotels in the same price range, as the cost was spent on seafood. It would be better to reconsider the menu and taste. On the other hand, the Room was very user-friendly, with a comfortable bed, a spacious unit bath, and well-placed TV, which were all excellent compared to hotels in the same price range. Additionally, the large public bath was unexpectedly good, with a spacious changing room, a sauna, and towels provided. Overall, aside from the breakfast, which is their selling point, it was a very impressive Hotel.

    Breakfast seating, too crowded

    The hotel itself is not bad. I feel it's a bit far from the station, but considering the location in Sapporo (Susukino), it can't be helped. The seating arrangement during breakfast (shared long tables) is a bit too cramped. It felt like a company cafeteria or school cafeteria, which was disappointing as it didn't allow for a leisurely meal.
