    Self check-in kiosk

    I checked in by following the front desk staff’s instructions and entering information on the machine. As they kept directing me, I gradually started to feel uncomfortable. It made me want to say, “If staff are here, why not handle it at the counter?” The same happened at checkout—the front desk staff pointed to the machine and said, “Please do it over there.” I did hear them say “Thank you,” but this Hotel does not feel like a service-oriented business.

    You can’t tell the exact location from the map alone…

    I stayed for three nights to enjoy the final performances at Shochikuza. These days, when choosing an Accommodation, of course I consider location and price, but I also prioritize having a separate washing area in the Room bathroom. The Room was spacious enough and I was satisfied. However, the road in front of the Accommodation had frequent cars and motorcycles making noise until late at night, and even on the 5th floor it couldn’t be avoided—so I felt the soundproofing was weak. Since I’m not familiar with Osaka, I should have researched more. It was a No Meals Included Plan, but when I went to have breakfast once, they asked me to pay on the spot, so I gave up. I didn’t expect that charging it to my Room wouldn’t be possible, and since I didn’t have anything with me… Maybe they explained it? I don’t really remember. The bed mattress was firm with little bounce and didn’t suit me. The staff were polite and pleasant. Would I stay again? Only if I couldn’t find another Hotel with a bathroom that has a separate washing area—and only on a higher floor. Most guests seemed to be foreign visitors.

    There was no need to book the Premium Double.

    The Room was far too small. If it was going to be this small, there was no need to book the premium option. The front desk staff were foreigners, and communication took a little time. The bathroom size and the hair dryer were good, though. There was also a coffee machine. Is that all that makes it “premium”? The Room was quite dusty, and I felt they don’t wipe everything down even though it’s small. It felt a bit questionable, so I washed the coffee cups and other glasses before using them.

    It was great.

    The room is by far the most spacious in its price range. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and the toilet has an Otohime sound-masking device, so my wife was happy. The amenities are more than sufficient, and the Room is clean. Most guests are foreigners, but there’s absolutely no inconvenience for Japanese guests. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay and had no complaints at all. I’d like to stay again. The nightwear is unisex by default, so it might not fit larger men. I’m 175 cm / 73 kg and it felt a bit tight. They may offer loaner sizes as well. Coin laundry: washing 100 yen; drying 200 yen per 20 minutes. In standard rooms, the hair dryer is a Panasonic model that costs around 5,000 yen. Small packs of cleansing oil, toner, emulsion (lotion), face wash, etc.—the kind that’s fairly pricey (according to my wife)—are available for free. The shower water pressure is good too. There’s also a convenience store just a 1-minute walk away, which is very convenient.

    It was comfortable.

    This was my first stay. A Hotel with a separate bath and toilet is definitely nice. The Room felt a bit small, but it was comfortable. I’d like to stay here again when I have plans around Namba.

    They were very accommodating to sudden changes. It is conveniently located near the station, and the Facility is in excellent condition. Compared to other hotels in the area, it is slightly more expensive, but it is an excellent Hotel.

    The layout is inconvenient, making the guest rooms less user-friendly.

    The room layout felt inconvenient. The double bed occupied most of the room, making the walkway narrow, and placing a small table in this already narrow space made it even more cramped. While it might be manageable for one person, it feels too tight and impractical for two people. There was only one baggage rack provided, but there wasn’t enough space to open it anywhere except in front of the entrance door. Additionally, the bathroom door opened inward and interfered with the bath mat. This also made usage inconvenient. For one person, rolling up the used bath mat and setting it aside might work, but for two people, the first user’s bath mat becomes an obstacle that prevents opening the door properly. When trying to open the door, the bath mat gets pushed aside awkwardly. Ideally, converting to an outward-opening bathroom door would solve this issue; at minimum, providing two bath mats would be better. Speaking of bathrooms, the sink was unnecessarily large with no space to place items like cosmetics or toiletries—this further reduced usability. This time we stayed under a No Meals Included plan for 37,000 yen per night for two people; however, frankly speaking, I did not feel that it was worth this price.

    It was very comfortable!

    We visited Osaka for the open campus of a university our child wants to attend and were looking for a place near Dotonbori, which led us to this accommodation. It was our first time in Osaka, and though we arrived earlier than planned after an exhausting journey, we were warmly welcomed, which made us very happy. The location is close to the station, making it easy to find without getting lost. The Room felt smaller than expected but was kept very clean, which left us satisfied. We also appreciated that the bathroom and toilet were separate. We will definitely use this place again when visiting Osaka. Thank you so much for your hospitality this time!

    Accommodation

    I visited Osaka for business, and as it ended late, I looked for accommodation and stayed at this hotel. Despite arriving late, I was warmly welcomed with a smile, which relieved my fatigue. The breakfast was delicious, and I would love to stay here again when visiting Osaka. Thank you very much!

    A quiet and clean Hotel.

    This will be my 3rd or 4th stay at this accommodation. I always check in right at the designated time, and I never hear any cleaning noise from the neighboring room. The staff's skills are excellent, and perhaps the hotel's structure is also remarkable. Thanks to this, I can always enjoy a quiet and restful stay. It’s a clean and favorite hotel of mine.

    Recommended for couples and married couples

    I stayed here during my trip to Osaka. For couples, reasonably priced hotels often have a unit bath with the shower and toilet combined, but this hotel offers separate facilities, which was very appealing and led me to make the Reservation. The Facility features: - Mirable shower - ReFa hairdryer - AirDog air purifier It was a great opportunity to try out products I had seen in commercials and was curious about. Check-in at 2 PM and check-out at 11 AM also suited my travel schedule perfectly. I wasn’t familiar with the Fujita Group before, but learning that they manage Chinzanso made sense to me. The Hotel was clean and well-maintained, offering services that matched its price point without any complaints from us. My wife was also satisfied, so for future trips, we plan to prioritize searching for hotels in the Gracery chain.

    It's slightly away from the Midosuji Line, but it's great that you can mostly get there underground.

    About Check-in

    Convenient access from the station, clean rooms, and a wide variety of rental items and amenities were excellent. However, during check-in at the front desk, I had to repeat my name three times as it seemed not to be understood. If I hadn't pointed it out, I might have been guided to someone else's room. Is there no name confirmation before guiding guests to their rooms? I noticed many foreign staff members, which must be challenging, but I hope more attention can be given in this regard.

    Stayed for one night.

    I stayed in the Premium Double Room on the top floor. The room looked as shown in the photos, but it felt quite small. There wasn’t enough space to fully open a suitcase, and I could barely manage to open it in the hallway, which made walking difficult. The bed was comfortable thanks to a good mattress. I appreciated having a separate washing area in the bathroom—it wasn’t cramped either. However, the Mirable showerhead didn’t seem to function properly; even after adjusting it several times, it made squeaky noises. It would have been nice if they used ReFa for consistency. There are two elevators, but they took quite some time to arrive—this might be the biggest downside of my stay. Having a coffee machine not only at the front desk but also in my room was very convenient. The walls seemed thin as I could clearly hear sounds from both neighboring rooms and the hallway. Overall, considering the price, I feel that staying in a non-premium room might have been sufficient even though this one wasn’t available at that time...

    I was concerned about cleanliness.

    Convenient location near the station and OCAT, early check-in at 2 PM, and decent staff service were positive points. I had reserved a standard room but was offered an upgrade to a premium room on the top floor at check-in, which I accepted. (This part was fine.) However, upon entering the room, there was an overwhelming smell of body odor mixed with perfume that made me feel uncomfortable. The windows couldn't be opened, so I turned on the ceiling air purifier, but it didn't help much. This experience dampened my mood as it was something I hadn't encountered during previous trips. Additionally, I expected a separate bath and toilet setup; however, it turned out to be different from what I imagined. The bathroom design required entering through the sink and toilet area to access the bathtub. As mentioned in some reviews by others, the floor in this area was carpeted for some reason. Unfortunately, there were many stains around the toilet and sink area that made it feel unhygienic. It felt unpleasant enough that I avoided using these areas as much as possible. Taking a bath felt uncomfortable due to both entering through this stained space and stepping out into it afterward—it really affected my ability to relax during my stay. In hindsight, even a unit bath might have been preferable. While I understood beforehand that rooms would be small here—they indeed felt very cramped. Around 9 AM one morning there were significant delays with elevators not arriving. There seemed also quite high numbers of foreign guests staying too. Despite being labeled "premium," nothing about upgraded accommodations gave off any special premium vibe either unfortunately Overall though cleanliness issues within-room hygiene proved most difficult aspect making unlikely return future stays

    It was relaxing.

    It's not a very large hotel, which might be why it was very quiet despite having foreign guests. The staff assisted with check-in, making the process smooth. Check-out was also supported by the staff, providing peace of mind. The room was on the top floor and equipped with items like an AIR DOG purifier and a Refa device, ensuring comfort. While not particularly spacious, the efficient layout made it feel less cramped. It seems to be a new hotel, and I feel fortunate to have found such a great place. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
