    The service and the POLA amenities were truly excellent. Unfortunately, many overseas guests may not use the air purifier. When I tried to use it this time, there was a blue straw between the unit and the wall. There was also dust, which was disappointing. There was towel lint on the shelf above the toilet. It was disappointing, especially since Richmond had been recommended to me.

    I stayed here for a live concert! I have used this Hotel multiple times, and I am always very satisfied with the service and hospitality. Having a coffee machine in the Room was also a nice touch. However, this time, after having dinner outside and returning to the Hotel, I planned to relax in the bathtub but found that there was no hot water. When I asked at the front desk, they informed me that the boiler was broken and they didn’t know when it would be fixed. Unfortunately, I had to wake up early in the morning to take a bath instead. It was disappointing to experience such an issue.

    The TV remote control was not working.

    I was looking forward to my first trip to Kyushu. The TV remote control did not work. The Room was smaller than the photos I saw when booking. Really disappointing. It was good that the bath and toilet were separate. Being close to the station is convenient, but I don't think I'll use it again.

    Excellent location d...

    Excellent location directly connected to the bustling Tenjin area. The Room had an external washbasin and was spacious, providing a relaxing atmosphere not just for sleeping after dining but also for unwinding.

    Convenient for shopping

    This area is concentrated with department stores and street shops. You can return to the room to drop off your shopping bags, take a short break, and head out for sightseeing again. The separate bath and toilet in the room allowed for a relaxing bath, which was much appreciated. The staff provided courteous and warm service.

    I used it again for the Live event! The process from check-in to check-out was smooth, allowing for a stress-free stay. There are many restaurants within a 5-minute walking distance, making it very convenient. It's also helpful that it's a Hotel partnered with Kagopass.

    The location is great, but how about the rest?

    We used two rooms, so the same comments apply. The location near Iwataya in Tenjin is excellent, but carrying a suitcase from the subway station takes some effort. The building is new and functional, but it has a somewhat chaotic atmosphere with many Southeast Asian guests. Additionally, there seems to be a smoking room on the 2nd floor, and the elevator smelled strongly of smoke, which may not be suitable for non-smokers. The cleaning level of the room can be chosen from three categories. We initially selected Eco (which I believe included towel replacement and tidying up), but were surprised to find that even basic tasks like rinsing out the bathtub or properly making the bed were neglected; slippers were left scattered as well. We switched to standard cleaning from the next day onward. We stayed in a double room, but found the bed too narrow for comfortable sleep. If you are considering staying here, it might be worth thinking carefully about these points beforehand. Lastly, since it was likely high season, one night cost approximately 30,000 yen; under normal circumstances it would probably fall into a 10,000-yen range class—this also made us question its value for money.

    It was very convenient as it was close to the station, and the staff's response was excellent. They accommodated my requests made in advance, making for a comfortable trip. I would definitely like to stay again when I visit Fukuoka.

    Smoking Twin Stays

    I stayed in a smoking room, but the smell of nicotine at night was really unpleasant. The curtains smelled like cigarettes. I would like deodorant to be provided. I don't like the room smelling like cigarettes, so I smoke in the bathroom. Also, the window glass is dirty with fingerprints. The toilet seat's heat cannot be adjusted. The TV cannot be mirrored, and when I inquired, I was told it works with an iPhone, which was disappointing. I would like it to be improved to connect with Android as well. I was surprised by the slowness of the elevator. Other Richmonds are smooth. During New Year's, it took an hour to enter the affiliated parking lot, which was tiring.

    It was a business trip.

    Despite being able to make a Reservation at a good price while hotels in Fukuoka are generally expensive, I was very lucky to be upgraded from a single Room to one with a bathroom that has a washing area. It's a bit disappointing that recent hotels have amenities at the front desk, so if you forget to bring them and go to get them at night, some items might not be available. The Room was very functional and had a sense of cleanliness, which was great.

    During your trip to Fukuoka

    We stayed as a couple! At check-in, we were upgraded to a larger Room, and although it was on a lower floor, we were very satisfied and delighted! We will definitely use it again if we have the chance! Thank you for taking care of us!

    The location is exce...

    The location is excellent, with shopping and dining options in all directions. When you're tired from walking, you can quickly return to the hotel to rest. The rooms are spacious, the beds are large and comfortable, and the bathtub is great for soaking. All the staff are very nice. The only downside is that the lower floors can be noisy, so light sleepers should choose a higher floor. Everything else is great, and I will definitely stay here again next time.

    Beyond expectations

    I was undecided between two properties, but I chose this one because it offers free cancellation until the day of check-in, a late check-out at 11 AM, and is located in the Tenjin area, making it possible to have a late dinner. Additionally, recently some hotels only respond to inquiries via email instead of phone, or have phone numbers starting with 050 which incur high call charges, but this one has a phone number starting with an area code, which was another reason for my choice. On the day of check-in, I was prepared for an unmanned front desk due to the automatic check-in system, but there was always a female staff member at the front desk who kindly assisted with a smile, which was reassuring. I had reserved a single room, but due to the hotel's circumstances (I believe it was a consideration), it was changed to a twin room, allowing me to enjoy a luxurious and spacious room comfortably. The bathroom is the same as a household type with a separate bathtub and washing area, and the toilet is in a separate room with a fully functional bidet. The heated toilet seat was too hot, so if the hotel can adjust it, I think it would be better to lower the temperature for energy saving. The cleaning was thorough, and the pillow covers, sheets, and others were as clean as if they were almost new. Amenities, Japanese tea packs, and coffee drip packs are available on the front desk floor. Although amenities are listed on the website, there was no mention of beverages, so I think it would be better to clearly state this service. On the morning of my stay, I completed the Richmond membership registration at the front desk, and despite checking out that day, I was allowed a 12 PM check-out, which enabled me to do some last-minute sightseeing while leaving my luggage. It was my first time having the Royal Host breakfast buffet, and it was a satisfying breakfast. Although I had bread in the morning, the mentaiko, grilled fish, and kibinago (small fish) were local specialties and delicious. The mentaiko had firmer grains and was tastier than the one included in the set at a famous motsunabe restaurant. The staff also kindly recommended freshly baked bread. Additionally, on the day of my stay, I did some last-minute sightseeing and had dinner at a yatai (food stall) in the Tenjin yatai area near the hotel at 10 PM. In Fukuoka, there are more bus rides than subway rides, and it was challenging due to wrong rides, but the hotel was easily accessible by taking a bus to Tenjin, which was helpful.

    Decided on a hotel I want to use again.

    I used this hotel for a concert in Fukuoka. Although the concert ended late and I checked in late at night, the staff responded kindly. The parking is also attractively affordable. The hotel room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. I definitely want to use it again. The breakfast included a buffet at Royal Host, featuring local Kyushu dishes. It was enjoyable to choose from items like spicy lotus root and mentaiko. However, the freshly made pancakes were very popular and disappeared quickly.
