    It was great.

    I made a Reservation for a single Room and arrived about 30 minutes before check-in on the day, but the front desk staff told me the Room was ready, so I was able to check in right away and head up to my Room. Their service was excellent. When I entered, I was surprised to find a spacious twin Room. Since I had originally booked a single Room, I really appreciated being able to relax in such a roomy space. The Room, bathroom, and toilet were all very clean. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    Pajamas

    Amenities aside, at least pajamas should be provided in the Room. I had to put my clothes back on after a bath to go and get them. There were several brown, paint-like stains (possibly bloodstains) on the floor, which was unsettling. Why was there no one at the front desk when I checked in after 4 PM? The check-in process took an unnecessarily long time, which was frustrating. The bed quality was poor and made it difficult to sleep comfortably. This is the worst Hotel experience I've ever had. I will never stay here again.

    It was a 2-night, 3-day solo trip for one woman. Although I was initially worried about the Reservation and prices due to inbound tourism, I managed to make an early Reservation and got a very good deal. My next concern was the Room, but it was clean (which is not always guaranteed these days), and I was delighted with how spotless it was. The Room was spacious as well. The guide to restaurants around Jujo area was so detailed that I regretted not being able to visit them this time. The hospitality made me feel at ease throughout my stay. I accidentally left my card key behind when leaving the Room, causing some trouble, but even then, the staff responded with a smile. After walking so much during this trip and feeling exhausted, I still had an enjoyable solo journey thanks to your support. Thank you very much!

    This is a cost-effective Hotel.

    The hotel I used to stay at regularly has become more expensive and harder to book, so I started searching on IKYU.com. This was my second stay at this hotel, and I was delighted that the staff remembered me during check-in. They also arranged a twin room for single use, allowing me to relax comfortably. The facilities are sufficient, and the location is convenient—just about a 3-minute walk from the Karasuma Subway Line station. However, while it’s a short walk from the station to the hotel, please be cautious if arriving late at night as there are very few people around during those hours. I look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you!

    Accommodation is flawless.

    The Hotel had a traditional atmosphere, and the Facility was excellent. I used the coin laundry, which supported barcode payment. The staff provided attentive service, which was appreciated. However, during busy hours at reception, there seemed to be a shortage of staff, causing some delays with check-in. Despite this, I gave it a perfect score.

    Convenient location and clean.

    Located near Jujo Station on the Kyoto Subway Karasuma Line, it was very convenient for accessing any area in Kyoto. The interior and rooms were still new and impeccably clean, with a functional design, which was another positive point. While there didn’t seem to be many restaurants nearby, there were two convenience stores, so I didn’t feel inconvenienced. Overall, I think it’s a very good Hotel.

    Perfect for a simple overnight stay.

    I don't particularly love it, but when searching for accommodations by price (low to high), this hotel often comes up as a recommended option, so this is my third time staying here. Considering the current hotel situation in Kyoto, it's a reasonably priced accommodation just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. As long as you don't have high expectations, it's a satisfactory choice. The amenities are basic and match the price point. I appreciated that there was an information sheet at the front desk about walking to Fushimi Inari Shrine the next morning.

    A standard Business Hotel

    The area south of Kyoto Station felt quite empty, and it was dark at night, which was a bit disappointing. I wanted to have a meal somewhere but ended up settling for convenience store food. The distance from the subway station also felt a bit far. The bed was hard and not very comfortable for sleeping. Other than that, everything else was average.

    We stayed here for a...

    We stayed here for a Kyoto trip to celebrate our child's new job. The guest room and amenities were as expected for the price but felt clean. The reception staff were very pleasant. After check-out, they kindly stored our luggage, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing hands-free. Breakfast was delicious, and we were delighted by the surprise cake they provided!

    Jujo Station is located about two stops away from Kyoto Station, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. You can enjoy a relaxing stay.

    The amenities were minimal, the bathroom was a unit type, and the Room was small. This time, I had no choice as I was looking for a place in Kyoto with parking. The price was... reasonable?? I was bothered by the damp smell of the shower curtain... The breakfast was not large in scale, but the mackerel sushi with shiso was delicious. I was concerned about the carpet in the Room being... dirty?? If it's just for one night's sleep, I guess it's okay??

    The breakfast was delicious. The room was a twin for one person, so it was very spacious and nice. I was worried about the carpet stains mentioned in other people's reviews, but the cleaning was done properly, so it didn't bother me that much. Considering the price, I think it was clean enough. It was a good hotel. The very disappointing thing was the woman who handled the rental bicycles. It was the worst. There were four bicycles available for 600 yen for four hours. No one was using them, and normally, you would expect to be able to choose based on height, or they would choose for you. But perhaps it was too much trouble, she rudely gave the key number for the bicycle meant for the tallest person at the front without any consideration. I wondered if she was just inexperienced or lacked consideration. When I left the hotel, I couldn't reach the ground with my feet and thought about returning it, but since my destination was about a 20-minute walk away, I forced myself to ride it. As expected, it was difficult to get off and I fell. Fortunately, I wasn't injured. I felt bad at the end, so my satisfaction went down. Everyone else was nice. I was really left with a feeling of disappointment.

    I used it for sightseeing in Kyoto. It is two stations away from Kyoto Station, but it was nice and quiet. However, since there is nothing around, you need to have dinner near Kyoto Station. The room was clean, the bed was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had just the right variety and was delicious.

    The room was changed without permission and was dirty in the end.

    I had a Room reserved for a trip with my boyfriend that I booked two months ago, but when we arrived at the front desk, we were informed that it was occupied due to some issues, and we were guided to another Room. There was no apology or anything. The Room we were guided to was a Room for three people, but the sheets on all the beds were stained, which was really unpleasant. If you have to change the Room due to your circumstances, I would have appreciated at least a clean Room.

    Hotel in Jūjō is a hidden gem.

    Compared to the hotels in Shijo, Jujo is a hidden gem with a more tranquil atmosphere. It is also close to Kyoto Station. If there is one issue, it is that the carpet on the floor is stained and needs repair or cleaning in some areas. The room itself is clean, so it would have been even better if the carpet was clean.

    I stayed for 2 night...

    I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days as a solo traveler. Thank you very much! I had to cancel one night before my stay and made an inquiry. They kindly stored my luggage from early morning until late, which was very helpful. I hadn't traveled in recent years, so I noticed that amenities have become more eco-friendly than before. There were no combs or cotton swabs. I wished there were cotton swabs. It was quite disappointing that the refrigerator was small and there was no freezer. For a usual trip, dining out might suffice, but for me, it was disappointing as I had drinks I wanted to keep frozen. Other than that, the front desk staff were very accommodating, and it was a very good hotel!
