    A Classic Hotel

    The Facility isn’t new, but even a new place won’t feel comfortable if it’s inconvenient to use or the Room is too small. The location is in the middle of the downtown area yet not noisy, and having parking makes it convenient. In any case, the spacious Room is very helpful for us since we travel with a lot of luggage—even the hallways are wide. I think they put real effort into breakfast as well. The food tastes good, and you can tell the staff are always attentive because the tongs and plates are kept clean. It’s also great to see experienced staff working with pride. With so many Business Hotels these days where you’re made to check in at a machine even when staff are right in front of you, and where service often feels inattentive, this is a valuable Hotel that I hope will continue for many years. I will gladly stay again.

    A comfortable Hotel at a reasonable price.

    We were able to use comfortable Rooms and Facilities at a reasonable price. It is conveniently located for enjoying the wonderful city of Morioka.

    Although the Room and bedding are comfortable despite being old, there is a cigarette smell...

    Although the Hotel itself is somewhat old and has drawbacks such as low ceilings, the room, bed, and bedding were comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. However, it was disappointing that both elevators had a strong lingering smell of cigarette smoke.

    The guest room is spacious.

    The Room had a long sofa that could seat about four people, making it spacious and comfortable. It was a bit disappointing that the free coffee in the lounge was instant, but it was nice that we could take away delicious espresso from the breakfast venue. Breakfast had a decent selection, including wanko soba. The yogurt was from Appi Kogen rather than Iwaizumi; it had a pleasant tang and was quite tasty. It would be great if the complimentary amenities included sample-size cleansing oil and lotion—something many women would appreciate. Since they weren’t available, that was a little disappointing.

    The excellent service provided by the front desk staff.

    Close to the downtown area, when I asked for recommendations near the Hotel, they kindly marked two places on a map and provided detailed explanations. I visited both, and they were absolutely fantastic. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance.

    I stayed for a multiple night stay during Obon. I have stayed here before, and while the facility is old, it is quite comfortable accommodation. However, there were some issues with the front desk staff being a bit overly familiar or not greeting properly. On the other hand, I was deeply impressed by the attentiveness of the room staff. I look forward to staying again. Thank you in advance!

    The facility is somewhat old but fully functional.

    The facility is slightly dated but sufficient. It is conveniently located near the downtown area, making it a great spot to return after a night out. However, it is far from Morioka Station, which might be inconvenient if you have an early morning schedule.

    The stability of a long-established inn

    I had a Multiple Night Stay. On the first day, parking on the premises (Key deposit required) was free. On the second day, a free accommodation voucher was provided for a nearby famous? parking lot. It's hard to believe these days. Reminiscing about walking around drinking in Morioka Odori over 40 years ago... At that time, it was an almost enviable Hotel that I proudly guided many people who came on business trips to visit. Some aging is inevitable, but in various aspects such as the response at the front desk and the agility of breakfast staff, it can be described as stable with one word. Especially inside the room, there was an unbelievable amount of unnecessary? space (and huge storage facilities), making it spacious & well-cleaned and tidy. Particularly around the bed area, although nothing special stood out, I found comfort in how good linen felt against my skin and spent my time pleasantly. The breakfast menu might not have been able to withstand a Multiple Night Stay? Slightly disappointing. It wasn't entirely an issue with Hotel (or maybe slightly?), but there were times when I couldn't bear how abnormally loud what seemed like footsteps from upstairs echoed during nighttime; consulting with reception didn't resolve this at all once before discovering at breakfast venue that two considerably large underage male siblings (part of three-member family) matched perfectly with sounds/rhythms/vibrations caused by walking in boots leading us finally identifying source confirming necessity for user-side consideration too again reaffirmed itself here today!
