    Close to the station

    Around the station at night, there were many heavily tattooed foreign visitors sitting around or wandering, which felt a bit scary. There are far more than when I visited before. At Hotel check-in, a large group of foreign guests came back from going out all at once, which made me uneasy, but my floor was quiet—perhaps they placed us on separate floors. However, in the early morning while I was sleeping, someone knocked on the door and I was startled. They were probably traveling together—one went to the breakfast venue while another stayed in the Room. Since only one key card is issued per party, I would like them to provide at least two key cards for stays with two or more guests.

    We stayed for two ni...

    We stayed for two nights for about 14,000 yen for two people. We visited USJ and the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, and the location was convenient. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, so we had it both mornings. The bed was spacious, and having an outlet and a small table by the pillow made our stay very comfortable. We’d love to stay here again when we visit Osaka!

    I stayed here to watch an interleague game at Kyocera Dome. At first I had a Reservation at another Hotel, but I found this place through an IKYU email. The Reviews were good and the price was reasonable, so I rebooked here. It’s a relatively new Hotel and very clean, and housekeeping was thorough, so I had a comfortable stay. If there’s one thing to mention: in the twin Room, there was only one power outlet and one USB port between the beds, so it would have been nice to have one more outlet (since we both wanted to charge our phones by the bed). Still, I appreciated the breakfast service, the station is close by, and this has become a Hotel I’d like to use again when I come to Osaka.

    Clean and well-maintained

    It has only the bare essentials, but I’m very satisfied. The unit bathroom/toilet/sink area is very clean. In the Room, the bed was pushed up against the wall on the air conditioner switch side, making it hard to operate the switch, so I moved the bed to secure a walkway. Even then, under the bed was clean (at other Hotels, when you move a bed you sometimes find various trash and dust underneath, but cleaning here is extremely thorough). Perhaps because Rooms are spaced out from other guests, it’s quiet and I can sleep soundly. It’s close to the station and convenient, but since foreigners are wandering around nearby, I don’t think a young woman should check in late at night alone.

    Solo stay the night before a concert, or a solo trip to Universal Studios Japan.

    I was planning to attend a live show at Intex on the weekend with friends, and we had reserved a different Hotel near the same station. Since I arrived one day early to visit Universal Studios Japan, I made a Reservation here. It’s close to the station, and although I arrived in the early afternoon (the Room wasn’t ready yet), they handled the check-in procedure and stored my luggage, so I could head straight to USJ right away. Bentencho Station was convenient for both Intex and USJ. In the lobby, they were playing music videos of the group we were going to see from the next day, which got me excited even though I wasn’t attending that day. The Room was compact but still spacious enough for a solo stay and to open my suitcase comfortably. One thing to note: luggage storage after checkout is paid, so keep that in mind (I didn’t use it because I left my bags at another Hotel where I checked in the next day).

    Clean and great value for money.

    Maybe it was just by chance when we stayed, but both the front desk and housekeeping staff were Japanese, which was reassuring. It had been years since I last got off at Bentencho Station, but the area is much cleaner than before, and the Hotel is close by—so even at night, I felt safe walking there as a woman. The Hotel itself was clean and great value for money. I’d definitely like to stay again.

    Spacious and clean guest room

    We stayed here with friends after a day at Universal Studios Japan. Getting there by train requires one transfer, but it’s very close to Bentencho Station and takes about 10 minutes in total. Our five-person Room was in the separate annex next door. When we first entered, we were surprised by how spacious it was all the way to the back. The entire Room was very clean and well maintained. The large bathroom had a drum-type washing machine and a ReFa shower, plus a big mirror and two sinks. There was also a SALONIA hair dryer, a straightener, and a curling iron, so we had everything we needed and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We could watch YouTube on the large TV, and relaxing on the sofa made it even better. There were three beds, plus one queen bed in the Japanese-style room, and all of them were very comfortable. There were two separate areas to hang clothes on hangers, so everyone could use them without holding back. The Room also had four heaters in total, so it never felt cold no matter where we were. Also, there’s a 7-Eleven right below the Hotel, which made shopping easy anytime. I made the Reservation myself, and it was such a great Hotel that all my friends thanked me for choosing it. Most of all, I’m happy that everyone had such a fun time with smiles on their faces. Thank you for having us—we’d love to stay again.

    A Hotel That Meets All Your Needs

    I stayed here for a live concert at Kyocera Dome. The accommodation is clean, and everything necessary for the stay is provided. The staff are polite and attentive, and the light breakfast service (such as Yakult and bread) was comforting. The bathroom is small, which might be a downside, but it’s acceptable for a short stay. Recently, I’ve been disappointed with luxury hotels that focus only on appearance without proper service, but this hotel allowed me to have a stress-free experience.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed at the accommodation because of the New Year's Eve concert at Kyocera Dome, and it was very convenient with its proximity to the station. The room was clean and very nice! I definitely want to use this accommodation again!

    Unfortunately

    I decided to stay based on the reviews, but the room was hot. When I tried to turn on the air conditioning, there was no option for it. Upon asking the front desk, I was told that air conditioning could not be used and was advised to open the window instead. It was raining outside, but I had no choice but to sleep with the window open. Honestly, I woke up feeling completely exhausted and just wanted to leave this hotel as soon as possible. I've never stayed at an accommodation where you couldn't control the air conditioning before, so this came as a shock. Additionally, even though it was a high-floor room, insects managed to get in. Unfortunately, my impression of this hotel is that only areas other than the elevator were at a comfortable temperature.

    It was a lovely Room.

    The toilet and bathroom were separate, which was great. The Room was very clean and had a luxurious feel despite the reasonable price. It was conveniently located near the station with a convenience store next door. I would love to stay here again when visiting Osaka.

    The Room was clean and comfortable. The reception staff was polite, but their voice was a bit too soft, making it hard to hear, which was slightly disappointing. Since it was during the Obon season and the lobby was busy with people, it added to the noise. I felt sorry for having to ask them to repeat themselves multiple times. It would be helpful if they could speak a little louder. However, despite my repeated questions, they answered patiently without showing any displeasure, which made me feel even more apologetic. I had a comfortable stay overall! Thank you very much!

    Stayed here for the Expo. Close to the station, and while I could ask for more variety like salads at breakfast, the miso soup and corn soup were surprisingly delicious, not what you'd expect from a machine!

    Room cleaning was satisfactory. The toilet nozzle did not work, and although we reported it on the first night, it was not addressed. Wi-Fi in the room did not connect. One of the two coffee machines at breakfast was broken, and the other could not heat water properly, making it difficult to use. Luggage storage after check-out required an additional fee.

    Accommodation for Osaka Expo

    I used this accommodation for visiting the Expo, and it was convenient as it was close to the station and had a convenience store on the first floor. The guest room was simple and easy to use, with no complaints at all. However, perhaps due to many guests staying for the Expo, I found it frustrating that even with two elevators, they took a long time to arrive during busy times on floors above mine. I hope to use this accommodation again when visiting USJ.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    I stayed at the accommodation during the Expo. It was very convenient as it was close to both the subway and JR. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. Although there was a fee for luggage storage after check-out, considering the distance to the Expo's luggage storage area and that I stored multiple items, the charge of 1000 yen per room was reasonable. My reservation did not include breakfast, but I was happy to find light breakfast options available. It is a hotel I would like to stay at again.

    I stayed here for the Expo. The best feature was "having a door in the bedroom," which allowed for a quiet rest without being disturbed by hallway noise. Location: Conveniently located right in front of Bentencho Station, with a convenience store on the first floor. Room size: I stayed in a Moderate Double Room for single use, and it was more than spacious for one person. Bathroom: Clean, with a larger-than-average bathtub and plenty of hot water. It was perfect for relaxing after a tiring day at the Expo. The area around the Hotel is quiet, and as a new Hotel, everything was clean and comfortable overall.

    Used for the Expo.

    The positive aspects were the proximity to the station, the convenience store next door, and free ice available on the 8th floor. On the downside, breakfast was served starting at 6:30 AM, which was inconvenient for us as we wanted to head to the Expo early. We wouldn’t have minded if breakfast had been a paid option. The trash bin was small, which is common everywhere, but we didn’t understand why its opening was made so narrow. Nightwear was provided but it was quite small; while it might have been possible to exchange for a larger size, no such explanation was given. Additionally, when we called around 10:30 PM on our check-in day, no one answered despite repeated attempts.

    I stayed here during the Expo. It is very conveniently located, close to the station with a convenience store downstairs. The Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was included for free, but unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it due to an early departure time.

    It was very convenient and helpful.

    I reserved this hotel for my visit to the Kansai Expo. It was very convenient, with a direct train to the venue and close to the station. The free breakfast was helpful, and while the room was small, it was clean and comfortable. Although the Expo is nearing its end, I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Recommended Hotel for Expo Visitors

    I chose this place because it is close to the Expo venue and near the station. The Room was clean, and the bed was spacious, allowing for a comfortable stay. Breakfast included light meals as a complimentary service, which was very helpful. There is also a convenience store nearby, so even with a late check-in, I had no trouble with meals or other needs.

    Great location

    Stayed for the Expo. No major issues, but I was slightly concerned about the lack of security despite being a new and conveniently located accommodation near the station. This was my first time encountering a hotel where additional towels were charged. Amenities were minimal. At night, the sound of cars outside the window was noticeable, but I guess that's expected for such a convenient location. There's also a convenience store nearby, which is handy.

    When traveling to Osaka

    I use Porta Inn Bentencho several times when I regularly visit Osaka! It is very convenient as it is close to the Loop Line and Chuo Line stations. The Room is clean, the shower water pressure is good, and breakfast includes rice balls, which made me very satisfied! I plan to use it again for my next trip to Osaka.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    I stayed here during the Expo. The access from Shin-Osaka Station via JR and the subway to the Expo venue was excellent, and its proximity to the station made it very convenient. The Room condition and bath time were comfortable, and breakfast offered a wide variety of rice balls and bread. My stay at the Hotel was very pleasant. I would like to use this Hotel again for my next visit to Osaka.
