    Perfect base for visiting Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion!

    It was ideal for a No Meals Included stay and for visiting sightseeing spots on foot or by bus. The Facility is minimal—beds, washbasin, and bath—but it was clean and there were no issues. The front desk staff greeted us with smiles, which made the stay very pleasant. The price was relatively affordable and matched our needs perfectly, so we were very satisfied!

    Just steps from Kiyomizu-dera Temple

    I had three days off work, so I visited Kyoto. The Accommodation was very close to Kiyomizu-dera, and the Accommodation Fee was reasonable, so I was able to visit quite a few shrines and temples offering special winter viewings. The Hotel stay was No Meals Included for one person, and the Room was clean without being overly expensive. I also used the parking lot, and it was convenient that I could come and go freely during my stay.

    Conveniently located near Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Kodaiji Temple!

    Stayed for 3 nights during the autumn foliage season. It is not large, but a very beautiful hotel. There is also a rooftop terrace with a view of the pagoda at Kiyomizu Temple. It was a hotel that made me want to stay again if I have the chance.

    I might not stay here again.

    The location might be good as it is at the entrance of Kiyomizu Temple. However, the accommodation feels unfamiliar and not very functional, lacking a sense of relaxation. I went up to the rooftop as it was accessible, but it felt very mismatched. It seems like it might be managed by Chinese capital. For breakfast, I expected a buffet but was served an egg sandwich and asked if I wanted coffee. When I said yes, they handed me coffee in a paper cup. The structure is puzzling as you have to go outside to access certain areas within the same building. There’s a dining area behind a souvenir shop that clearly caters to Chinese visitors, with staff who also seem to be from China. This accommodation had relatively high ratings, but... ???

    It was great!

    Close to Kiyomizu Temple, the accommodation is affordable and even offers discounts on IKYU.com, making it very reasonable and satisfying. The reception service was particularly excellent. Please note that for your stay, amenities can be taken from the shelf to the left of the reception desk. The elevator requires you to enter, hold your card key up to the sensor, and then press the floor button. Parking requires a phone reservation; there are two spaces next to the hotel, while other cars can park in nearby contracted parking lots. The automatic doors operate until 10 PM; after that time, you can use your card key on an external sensor for entry and exit.
